I know it's sad to admit, but I don't really think about the Super Bowl. I'd like to win it of course, but the bottom line is while I'm definitely good at Madden I'm not as good as guys like you, sprice or Doom.

I like to compete and play the games of course, but playing GM and working trades with people is honestly more fun for me than trying to win a championship. I like building up my team, even if I never win anything. I never even made the Super Bowl with the Pats, and that team was much more stacked than this one can ever hope to be.

No one would blame Doom for being better at running the ball than pretty much anybody, it just so happens that my talent is working the phones. :lol:
 
not to mention i use broncos online a few time and porter is beast u need to look at more then just ovr his man is high 93 speed the guy is good.

I am sure you could win one....The key to me winning is keeping my turnovers down I have thrown 8 pics with flacco and 4 came against dooms defense :drool: I was lucky to win that game

I don't actually turn the ball over much. I have a bit more this year, but in Madden 12 I threw fewer picks than anybody.

It's not that I can't beat the elite players, I probably have one of the better regular season records against Doom (still well under .500 mind you), and I beat him this year. Still 0-for-the playoffs against him though. Last year I beat Sprice with my backups. I just always seem to choke come playoff time. :cool:

Playoffs are tuff I choked every year in Madden 12 I couldnt beat sprice when it mattered for some reason lol This time around I am going to focus on my running game from madden 11 thats my whole point to bringing in Green to help Rice out and play tuff phy D. Thats 2000 RAVENS FOOTBALL!!!

Like I said I offered him DJ Williams, but you can't fault him for wanting Porter.

I think if you took a closer look at Porter's attributes you'd find a bit more value in him. Just from having used him 7 games, I can tell you he's a great cover corner and ball hawk. Just ask Doom, Porter picked him off 3 times. :D

I did t cross the 50 last night until the third quarter. Big Ben has something like 5 TDs and 17 INTs. Last night I couldn't tackle lowly Helu Jr! He had 347 yards!

Practice, practice, practice.

Learn to take fewer risks when passing the ball, find some higher percentage passing plays that work for you and learn them like the back of your hand. Don't focus in on one option when passing, and don't force the ball to a guy when he's covered. The nature of Madden is that a pass to a covered receiver is going to be picked off far more often than it's going to be caught.

When I learned how to take the time to read the field and make progressions, it instantly cut down on the number of picks I threw.

Just to expand a bit, when we dove in to the stats it turned out that Bennett and Groves are extremely comparable players in terms of skill level (and skill set). Given that, we didn't feel that two supplemental pieces were necessary in order to acquire Bennett.
 
heres another problam with all the new guys trading big names away... steelers i believe have now traded mike wallace and timmons.. is thunkin of quitting ..... browns whos already been a issue( even tho siradam talked to him) traded joe haden.if the trade goes thru for vincent jackson and this guy says wow my team sucks and quits then what... i believe they cut mike williams so that would make caldwell there best wr right? im working so i may be a little off on these but i know im close... i would love to play 5 seasons again dont want people to not want teams

As far as me moving Adrian Peterson, it is the biggest move I can make to improve my team overall. Offensively the way I play especially my run game I am going to have success or failure regardless if I have Peterson or I go committee with a strong back for the middle, and a fast one for the outside. This trade gives me pieces to improve my offensive line, and improve my defense.

Dude Wallace is done after this year and I got a 1 & 4 rnd pick for him which was a good trade.

Picked up Knox in FA

Then traded Sanders and Timmons for Larry Fitzgerald and a 4th rounder

How is that bad?

Yes. I've seen a huge change in hit stick success with the physics engine. I've given up unless I have a direct hit. Use X and you'll see instant success.

I certainly hope so. I have had problems with interceptions in past Madden leagues, but this is ridiculous. My O-line can't run block on a consistent basis, and I have been giving up so many points that I have to take too many chances and I throw bad picks. But then again, for some odd reason, my Packers in this league are rated a 79 overall when they were rated 90-something for offline play.
