I was right when I told Hemingway I wasn't gonna throw 9 picks again against him this time around...I threw 10 :O I think even his 7th string DB could shut my receivers down...it's crazy how his DBs play. And on the RARE occasion where my WR would get a step on the DB, Cam of the 90 deep ball would just overthrow or underthrow him. But by then the game was already out of reach anyways...started off up 21-7, then quickly fell to 21-42.

Gg Hemingway, looking forward to the playoffs......just gotta be more disciplined and find more than just 1 route that beats man coverage.

yeh i have to say you did have some bad over throws witch sucked for you but ill take it. but yeh playoffs should be fun.

thank god that you didn't take him, he can't hit a barn on any routes further than 15 yards.
 
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if the 49ers beat the Redskins I believe all 12 playoff teams will be set. Only divisions still up for grabs are the AFC West (though both teams have clinched the playoffs) and NFC East.
 
Looks like the Broncos are going to need to beat the Texans after all if they want to win the division. Although I suppose it's worth asking at this point whether I do want to win it. Being the 3 seed looks like it's going to mean hosting the Ravens, while tumbling down to the 6 would mean traveling to KC instead. Hmm...

My lowest MCV CB PERIOD is a 90. I've got a 99, 94, 93, 92, and 90...and your receivers were running WIDE open at times lol. Even my safeties are 80 and 86 man coverage and my main 2 LBs are 82 and 81...and my team does NOT play man coverage anything like yours does!! I guess I need to work on some new routes too, I don't think you ran any really crazy routes though...they looked pretty standard for the most part.
 
rams beat falcons by 1 TD cant remember the score wife jumped on black ops.

sjaxs 9 catchs 150 yards 1 TD ( no a single one was even a screen)

my defense was sloppy but i think it was due to his offensive scheme. he played well with the TE and RB the way he used them together in the passing game was tough to defend i tried everything double covering zone flat out man tried usering it just wasnt working.

matt ryan was 11-17 200+ yards 1 TD could have done better if WRs wouldnt drop passes when they got hit even though they have good CIT
RB jones 10 carries 100 yards 2 TDs

this game left me with some many what ifs its not even funny i hope i win atleast my last game of the season i forget who i play but i remember them being a good team. lady luck i need u

I was trying to figure out the same thing! If we both tank then who wins the division? Most likely I'm going to try to win the division as it is the only thing I will ever win ;)

I would. If you win out, I also need to win out thanks to that damned tie (I knew it would come back to bite me). If you'd lost to the Steelers I could have lost to the Texans and still wont he division by beating the Dolphins next week.

I think I have to go for it just to try and keep this streak alive: Believe it or not I'm the only owner who has won their division all 6 seasons of Madden 12+13. That's only because Doom didn't play season 5 last year, but whatever. :D

Edit: Then again, those 6 division titles have never gotten me further than the Conference Championship game, so maybe it's time to give the WC a try.

Broncos-Texans going down at 7PM EST tonight. Should be a fun one as always.

It was a gg except I had 2 starters break there ribs on defense. So now I have 3 starters out for the season.

Cmon 49ers! With a Cru win the Eagles should clinch the NFC East. With a Redskin win, I'll need to beat the Jets or have the Redskins lose to the Cowboys. We're neck and neck at the end of another season Man, good luck.

It's ok I'm picking up player styles. Now I know how to defend against him, unfortunately it was too late for this game. I also need to improve my offense big time because even if I stopped gronk I didn't do much on offense myself.

Texans top the Broncos 20-10, though it was much closer than even that indicates, easily could have gone either way. The difference was the acrobatic picks Doom's players were able to make versus the ability of Andre Johnson to catch passes with Joe Haden all up in his business. All season I've found myself wishing Haden played like he has 99 man coverage (which he does). My biggest mistake was not giving the ball to McGahee more, especially on a crucial 4th-and-1 late where I gave it to the fullback instead. Pretty dumb of me to only give the guy 3 carries given how great he's been of late.

gg Doom!

Looks like the Broncos will settle for the WC, with that tie from Week 1 coming back to burn me like I knew it would. I'm not too down on myself though, I played a significantly harder schedule than the Chiefs (might've been the hardest in the league, I'd have to check) and hung in there all season. Definitely still feeling good about my team headed into the playoffs, and now I can rest some guys next week.

Great game BV. A very defensive contest despite the yardage by both backs. Ball control was key. Kareem Jackson and his upgraded coverage skills finally came through. Last season, Thomas toasted him.

Holding Foster to 7.x ypc feels like holding any other back to about 2. :D

I was definitely happy with the way I defended the run, despite the yards he accumulated. Especially since I pretty consistently guessed the correct side with my LBs, your team just blocks so well that sometimes it doesn't matter.

Well I didn't really throw it to either wideout much until the end, though perhaps that was indeed owing to the improved coverage.
 
I do love that the first season in a while I'm going to get a 2nd place schedule is the season I'm playing the AFC South anyway. I'll never escape playing Doom every season (not that I'd want to).

Broncos now have nothing to play for in Week 17. Fero, prepare yourself for heavy doses of Vince Young and Joseph Addai. :D

It's still possible that the WC spots could switch, but right now it looks like Broncos-Bills and Ravens-Chiefs.
 
Your defense did very well against him, especially in your territory. I was surprised with my defense forcing fumbles, though unfortunately I wasn't able to recover them. My LB blitz skills have diminished, or maybe I'm just more conservative, but glad to see it's still working for you. I always run into my own guys when trying to do that.

It's not working like it did last year, but that's not a bad thing, since it was probably too easy last year. I'm still pretty good with them though, and still as hopeless as ever if I ever try to user a safety (which I don't).
