Madden 13 Official CAG League - On Hiatus. See you in August for Madden 25!
You will get your two wins against oakland
I'm not predicting a 1-15 season or anything. This team is a work in progress though, so I always expected some lumps in season one.

Cowboys beat the Seahawks 20-7

This game was a defensive battle. Romo was 11/20 for 162 yards 0 touchdowns and 2 ints. The Cowboys finally found their running game with DeMarco Murray rushing for 142 yards and 1 touch down on 23 carries.

The Cowboys defense had 2 Sacks (both from Ware) and 3 interceptions, one of which was a pick 6 from Barry Church.

The Cowboys defense also held Marshawn Lynch to just 10 rushing yards.

I tried to find a balance in this game with my running and passing and it paid off, but my Quarterback play will have to be a lot better if I am going to make any kind of run this season.
I think you could get a lot more with your 1st round pick Tan Tan.
Not a CB with Samuels stats

Redskins at Rams should be going down in 15

St. Loui's season opener at home is about to go down.

one week u need a qb the next u need WRs lol time to start making moves brah

What did you guys ever figure out with the trades? Do they only go into effect when you advance, or do both parties actually have to be online for it to work? I know there were some issues in here, and I was wondering if anything was ever 100% figured out.

the trade that had been done both had to be online for it

But when they were both online for it, it went through instantly? I'm just trying to figure out for the other league if we need to delay advancing for a day to get these trades sorted out. If it only processes after an advancement, that would suck for anybody wanting their new players for Week 1.

When he would send the trade and i would accept it hours later when I got home it would just go away and not say anything but when we both got online at the same time and he sent it and I accepted it right away it went through we got our players right then and all the other trades came up and said declined but the last one said accepted.

Wow, that's really weird. How the hell has that not been discovered/patched by EA yet? Thanks for confirming though. At least it won't hold up our advancement.

Weird. I didn't see that happen at all last week and then it happened 5 times in my game against DVO.

I think it ties in with players having good games and bad games. The higher their consistency rating the less you see easy drops like that. In my other league I get a few easy drops when throwing to Josh Morgan, but Santana Moss catches just about anything that comes his way within reason. Dropping a game winning TD also factors into the players clutch rating. A big time game winning throw is a lot of pressure on a young receiver. It happens all the time in the NFL. Players have bad games.

Though I will admit that it is frustrating as hell.

So the "Consistency" trait becomes just about a must-purchase for receivers in that case. You definitely don't want games decided by balls hopping right off the hands of WRs in key moments, which seems to have happened several times this week.

just curious if i will have the results of my trades sometime today not in a rush or anything since the deadline isnt till the 26th more just curious than anything to see how long it takes trades to process thru the committee

We're working on it now, I'm sure you'll hear sometime today.

There's no set amount of time it takes, it depends on the complexity of the trade and more basically on when everyone has a chance to weigh in.

ok sounds good i wasnt around for any of the other trades made during the preseason time so i wasnt sure how fast it all went. i will be checking all day though lol works slow now that we just got back from the deployment so plenty of time on my hands right now and well its kinda of perfect with the football season starting and madden got lucky 2 years in a row

Yea, it definitely means you should think twice about who you are throwing that game winning pass to.
Two things:

1. fuck the refs from that MNF game last night.

2. Packers/Bears set for 6 P.M. Eastern today.
The way I have been playing, Im going to need that kind of help tonight vs. the Packers.

I had 20,000 XP after the 1st reg. season game so i decided to upgrade a Beast and give him the Clutch Trait!!!
Also, what does the trade() committee want me to do to get the mallet trade to go thru...he came to me with the trade...
It's never mattered whose idea the trade was, we evaluate them objectively. Considering he just sent his 1st round pick to Atlanta, I'd say he's no longer interested. You'll have to ask him though.
Also, if you could list the trade committee on the first page that would be great!
Why? It's not a secret who's in it, but people really shouldn't be lobbying the members of the committee directly anyway. Just post your thoughts here, all of us read the thread.

For the record, I've now listed them in the league rules document.

Wow that Asante deal went through...I don't think Tannabeo is getting enough!!!!!

og, the Asante deal has not been approved yet. And that version is different than the one Tanabeo posted, so I've asked DVO to repost both deals.
Wait, DVO also dealt White? DVO, you need to make separate posts, you can't just stealth edit it in. I completely missed it.
Thats was a my bad when i went set it up i ment quote but i hit edit my bad wont happen again

I'm just trying to get a trade done...didn't make any moves last year...first trade got snuffed this year..im dying to make a deal!
Thats was a my bad when i went set it up i ment quote but i hit edit my bad wont happen again
It's fine, just post both again. And make sure it's the final version of the Samuel trade, because you and Tanabeo's versions didn't match.

Only one of you needs to post the trade, just make sure you're 100% on the same page about what's in the deal before you post it. It's not a race.

First trade seems even. Second trade not so much. Essentially Roddy White for 2 first round picks considering Floyd's position this year is too much in my opinion.

I agree 100% with Ramesu. I'm still considering the Asante deal, I need to look closer at the ratings, but I think what amounts to two 1sts is too much for White.
