Chances are if you liked the demo of Catherine, you will like the game, BUT, it's HARD, and the puzzle aspect is repetitive (to me at least), and the story is geared towards males. Rent it first to see if it's your cup of tea.
 
I'll definitely play L.A. Noire, I just wanted to get all the DLC first ;) I was lucky enough to buy it from Toys R us for about $25 a while back because I originally intended to sell it. Did you ever see Pauly shore in Son in Law or In the Army Now?

i got 1400/1400 achievement points. there was nothing left to do, sadly.

i don't see anything different when updating, though. WTF?
 
I've never got 100% on any game, 360 or PS3 (probably because a lot of games require online for some of the trophies/achievements), but also because my gaming skills aren't up to par. =/
 
that was my 1st 360 game. only have 100% on FFXIII on ps3.

you have to pm a mod. some sites give you limited access to HTML, but this site doesn't give anyone any HTML privileges besides Cheapy & the mods, from what i understood. look at the bootom left corner of the page. does is say HTML code is off or on? mine says off. you may have been given special priveliges (on purpose or by accident)?

sorry, i wish i could help more. Oldschool is alot more tech saavy than myself, so when he gets home later, he may know. he's on PDT which is 2 hours behind me (CDT), but it's usually around 8pm PDT when he checks his thread for the 1st time (but he goes out quite often, etc, and isn't obsessive about checking his thread daily like me, so he may be on LATE). if i'm up, and i see him on steam, i'll ask him if he knows what to do & check your thread so he can help.

other than that, if it says yes to HTML access in bottom-left corner, i'd say contact whichever mod you've dealt with before & ask them to disable it for you (cuz i'm pretty sure you can't do it yourself if the site gave you that privelige. it's mainly for webmasters, and can EASILY be taken advantige of & haters can cause serious disruption if they had access to the full HTML on any given site).

i know how frustrating it has to be, as mine switched to one of the other modes on that link i provided, and i hated it. long story, but it was basically so people could post free codes in 'invisible' quotes so lurkers couldn't get them, but i turned it off (as a free code once in a blue moon wasn't worth my tradelist taking longer to update to me). good luck. lmk when/if you get it worked out in case anyone else has that problem so we'll know how to fix it, please.

btw, to be clear - you just logged on this morning, and it was like that? ...and it wasn't like that the previous time you logged on?
 
i'm lucky i'm not having that problem. i wonder why it's not effecting everyone?

also, GR:Shadow Wars 3DS is the BEST game available for the 3DS (or 2nd best, depending on your tastes. i say best since OoT 3D is a remake). it was made for the DS by the developers that made the original Xcom game & they were given 3 months to up-rez & add 3D. i can't wait to see what they do with a 100% 3DS dev cycle, cuz that game is tight.

I like the analog but I just happened to luck out and get in on the 2 for $50 deal that someone on CAG had posted :lol: I think it was an ad typo since the deal ended fairly quickly.
 
yeah i bought the 4 dlc characters last night for MK, since they finally matched the 360 price of $14.99 for all 4 (but since i got that 50$ ps3 card for 33$, i didn't actually pay that much. i'm still contributing to the dlc problem now, though. i usually don't buy on priciple, but i was drowsy at the time).
 
I buy DLC but only if it's something that was really added on, not if it was already on the disc. I also don't mind if it's to support great game developers like 2K or Naughty Dog :lol:
 
yeah, they are just being careful that it doesn't spill over here, but people are getting mad at the mods for requesting more from people that sell more than a few psn cards than they do for other cards or just a couple psn cards.
 
Glad that you got the games, did you like the Wii skins I threw in? I heard about that PSN card scandal when I was looking to see what was up with the site. It looks like all they are asking for is pics of the cards to make sure that the codes aren't illegally generated.

but it was never made clear that was why they were asking for pics (until AFTER they banned someone, giving them a 'scarlet letter', so to speak), since a pic of a card does not prove it's legitimate.

sdragon, i saw a 16gb pro duo in your want list for forever. wtf? you decide against it after you got it? or maybe got more than enough for youself?

no probs on the vid. i love stuff like that always, but even more when it's a game i want but can't afford, want to see if it's up to snuff on the graphics, or for another reason that i can't remember because my mind went blank, lol.

it was made clear MANY times in that thread that picking on a single person, AND showing pics of cards (even to the mod) means absolutely nothing. that's why the last few posts were the mod & a user going back & forth about how little it meant.

sdragon, what about that 16gb card? u not like it? or did you get more than 1? i know i kept looking for one for you cuz i saw it in your trade list forever, and someone had one before i saw your wants & i could never find that list again.

wow, that silver psp3000 is nice. never seen one before, but is the thumbstick the same shape as the black units? prob so, but looks better. i remember mine being pretty tiny on top. nice pics.
 
All of the PSP 3000's have the same controls but some of the colors do look better :lol: I bought the Assassin's Creed bundle just so I could get a white one without Vader on the back :cool:

i thought that was the case, but it just looked different (like mine didn't take up my whole thumbprint, but that one looked more like the top of the 3ds slider pad to me for some reason).

a friend i used to work with had the god of war 2000 psp. i liked that one alot. i'm usually an early adopter of tech, and since i take good care of it, i usually miss out on all the cool editions that come out later on handhelds & consoles. sucks cuz the red 3ds was in Austrailia on launch, but NOW they bring it out here. i expected this stuff a year later, but 5 months is a trust-breaker for me (i love the red one).

I had a PSP 1000 but I wanted to get a newer one with a built in mic and the better screen twztid :D I don't mind adopting early as long as there are good games for a system but it seems that it's better to wait. By the way did you hear the rumors about a slimmer 3ds?

i guess i realized it was what they had to do, and nothing i could do would change my situation (and i didn't actually want to sell my 3DS, but i still would rather have the money than the games). my bud in the UK heard that the NES games were gonna be 3D (but we would get them in the alpha stages before the 3D was active. the ninty statement kinda hints at that, but if so, 3D games would make me much happier. i was mad that they were games that i bought on older systems, and didn't take advantage of the portable's namesake).

the size is fine with me, so that doesn't bother me. it was just the price. i expected newer versions, new colors, better battary life, etc. just not 5 months later, lol (or 4.5 months w/ the price drop).
