Please do not post referral links in this thread. There are threads for referral links here.
In an older thread everything went to sh*t once it became full of referrals and it was worthless for anything else.
If that starts happening here, I'll delete the thread and be done with it.

Black Friday and Christmas deals should be coming around the corner soon. Waiting for those sales before I start buying games.

Two additions to the reddit game sale spreadsheet worth mentioning. VAIL is under $4 and Ghostbusters is $5 with code.

Vail:
NICETRYDIDDY89-885E84

Ghostbusters:
GHOSTBUSTERS1984-2EA3A4

Is Ghostbusters a good buy if you're a person who still occasionally struggles with motion sickness from joystick based movement? Does it have any room scale or stationary mini games?
Oh nice, I got Ghostbusters!! Thanks

After 13 emails, here is support’s final response about the sale:

Thank you for contacting Meta Store Support and letting us know about this. This is David from the specialized team of Meta Store Support and I hope this email finds you well.

We have confirmed with our team that if the offer is not showing to you and it's not browser related it may be related to the fact not being available to you.

In order to keep our offers fresh, we periodically run promotions for randomly selected customers. It appears as though the promotion you are referring to is not available for you at this time.

Anyone played Down the Rabbit Hole? I’m debating staring my quest+ trial now, or waiting till next month. I have Zombieland on PSVR2, so it doesn’t have much value to me. But I watched the trailer for the other game and it seems cool.

Also, how often do games rotate out? I very much want to be sure to play Asgards Wrath and maybe at least a couple others

I liked it ok, a bit short, but enjoyable. Best time to join is the last day of the month so you can claim the 2 games that are leaving and then the 2 new games the next day.

Cubism, Space Pirate Trainer, No More Rainbows and Guardians Frontline will join the Quest + roster next month. Check out more news on Quest + here.
Which of the Catalog titles are likely to rotate out? UploadVR says Asgard's Wrath 2, but that one was the most recently added. The Catalog titles don't rotate out every month like the monthly games do, do they?

To be honest, I don't really know much about how things have been rotating out of quest+. I bought the first quest pretty early on and have been buying games pretty regularly from the start, so quest+ just doesn't appeal to me that much since I already have most of the games I have any interest in. Sorry I can't really help.

Where do they say that? I hope they don’t mean next month. Was looking on Reddit to see if I could get some answers about how often things change out. Sounds semi random based on what I found. But they were saying Arizona Sunshine was added and then removed fast. Never said how fast though

Here's one article, and here's another. And meta has a quest+ FAQ here.

Yikes! Did a little digging and found out that Arizona Sunshine was put in the catalog last month (and it’s gone now). So Asgards Wrath is probably gone at the end of the month after all

That really stinks. I'm a little sorry that I waited to start my trial, but in non virtual reality I've had almost no time to play any games so... maybe Asgard’s Wrath will come back in a month or 2?

I don’t claim to have any inside info, but when Arizona Sunshine was leaving, they announced it about a week beforehand, and it was also pretty understandable that it was leaving because the remake was about to come out. I don’t see anything on the page for Asgard’s Wrath 2, only that UploadVR says it is leaving soon, so I guess we’ll see.

I’m mad at myself. Was going to redeem my quest plus trial yesterday and let it slip my mind. I might just wait a couple days, long enough for me to claim the Feb games after they roll over before the trial ends. Even if I don’t have much time to play them at least they will be on my account if I ever sub again. Btw, Asgards Wrath 2 is still there this morning

I almost forgot about it too. I just redeemed it at 5 days left until the monthly games refreshed since I didn't want to have to remember it later. Waiting until the actual last day is too dangerous since you'll have too many things to distract you, like trick-or-treaters looking for candy.

Every once in a while I check if they’ve added more of the courses to Walkabout Whole in One Bundle (they haven’t), and I just noticed that the Alfheim course is part of the Fall Frights sale for 99 cents, so I picked it up. Can’t believe I almost missed it. Now I am only missing 8 courses (4 of which are in the Whole in One bundle).

Yep. I also forgot to redeem yesterday as the real spooky nightmare of Halloween is ...ParEnTAL respoNSIBiliTIES!!!

A week or so in with my quest 3 and it’s a mixed bag. Batman is amazing so far, but I only get like 60-90 minutes of playtime before my battery is dead. And to think people were complaining about the short 4-6 hour battery life on the Sense controllers on the PSVR2. I’m also pretty salty about whatever is going on with my account that makes it so I can’t get access to the sale that’s going on.

Comfort is surprisingly high. I tested out a quest 2 when I had my PSVR1 and I hated how the quest felt. Was so pleased to put the 3 on and have it feel pretty good, even with the default head strap. I’m not sure I’ll be bothered to replace it like everyone says you need to. I also find the included face mask comfortable, but I probably will replace that, because I’m sure it will be gross very soon if I keep using it. My long nose and narrow (58) ipd do not play well with the PSVR2. To get the correct placement on my eyes puts strain on my nose, which leads to headaches and increases the rate at which motion sickness sets in. I still get a little nose contact in the quest 3, but nowhere near as bad.

I specifically sought out the 3 and not the 3s due to the lenses. I’m glad I did. They impress me with their giant sweet spot.

Coming from PSVR1/2, I’m super impressed with just how much…stuff there is. Demos, media players, a 3d home space, etc. I’m glad I don’t have to pick between them. It would be a hard choice to make.

That's interesting because the short battery life makes me glad that I didn't splurge for the 3 over the 3S. I'm already annoyed that I have to shell out extra money for Zenni lenses since wearing glasses inside the headset is uncomfortable, so the total purchase would have pushed me over $500 after taxes if I got the 3. $500 is a lot for something that will be supported on the market for up to 5 years before the new headset releases, if the Quest 2 is anything to go by. I don't have PSVR2, but the PSVR1 has deeper space before the lenses so glasses can fit more comfortably.

Did not show up for me. Sent my buddy a link to the sale. The text message showed the site I was sending as “Error” but when he clicked it, sale page opened for him.

I should have mentioned this earlier, since it's free, but you can watch some NBA games in VR. Download the Xstadium app and go for it. The trailer is a year old, so I'm not sure everything in it is accurate, but here is a list of games you can catch on it this season.

I may be the only one who cares, but Mighty Coconut has finally released a new bundle, “Walkabout Minigolf: Whole in One Bundle”, not to be confused with the old “Whole in One Bundle”. The new bundle includes all currently available courses, and for me is a much better discount than the old bundle. I have all but 8 courses, and the new bundle would give me those at about $2.50 each, while they are $3.99 if purchased separately, and the old bundle would give me 4 of the ones I don’t have at about $3.50 each. I will probably still wait to see if the Black Friday sale has any 99 cent courses before buying, though.

Edit: I decided not to wait. The list price on this is $56.99, the same as the other bundle, so this could be a price mistake.

For what its worth, I don't own any of the DLC or the base game and both bundles are $56.99 when I see them on the store. Strange.
