Love the MW2 Mythbusters stuff.

Prestiging sucks by the way. If I ever reach the next prestige, I know I won't do it. I already have my extra custom class and that's that.

That and I didn't jump off the top the buildings there....it was that outhouse/shed or whatever it is on the side there. Definitely a much shorter distance down than that jump....but yes, that is essential what happened. Too bad that didn't count for my kills. :bomb:

Here is the picture...we are up something like 10 or 11-1....I snag the flag and run around the side with the car. Madder and a couple of others are surrounding me. Even watching the deathcam, I am not sure what happened to cause that. I know I've done that jump before evading people and have not had it blow up before. I am fairly certain the car was not on fire since I did not see that on the deathcam....I can rule out me with a grenade since I didn't have any on the load I was playing or anything from the other team since it did say I killed myself. Strangest, yet most hilarious death I have witnessed.

Still doesn't make up for the dozen or so headshots from those campers in Skidrow last night though....but was a great laugh.

What I personally liked was that I saw the car light up and thought "Well, I've got a couple of seconds to cover him before it blows" and moved in closer to provide cover, then I went boom with the car. I really didn't think it'd blow up that quick because when you shoot them they never f'ing do unless you keep shooting them.

My personal tip for runners, use Marathon and get Lightweight up to Pro, use Steady Aim and run with an SMG. You won't need to aim, Steady Aim keeps the reticule small enough you'll be doing headshots like crazy but not enough to keep you from going too wild. IF you want to be acrobatic and jump off crap, use Commando, if it's all close and tight, use Ninja. But never jump onto cars or trucks or things that explode :lol:

Remember, don't freerun and drink while capturing flags, that may be a cliff you're jumping off of.

Not unless they have a UAV up or you fired your unsuppressed weapon. Your footsteps also make noise unless you have Ninja Pro, crawl or crouch.

I usually always carry a stinger so I usually shoot it down within the first 5 seconds of anything being up there except the damn AC-130.
 
Sick of the care package glitches. I'm also not a big fan of the tacticl nuke. Some of the killstreak rewards help way too much in order to achieve a nuke. I feel it takes away from the game. Not to mention that when people get them most aren't patient enough to wait and use them towards the end of the game. If you get one when playing demo you should make sure the game goes to OT and use it at the end so the other team thinks they have won the match. Just my opinion anyway.

Probably after we quit playing. Seriously...I was home sick yesterday, got into one demolition match during the day and the other team was doing this non-stop. Way to ruin it....that and I played with a bunch of people not playing as a team - thus my 24 deaths. So, to level up some I had to go back to Free4All since I could never get a good connection to CTF or anything else.

I'll just say that if it would not have been late last night, I should've stayed with the last group I got into. For as much as I still have to learn, these guys made me look great. I mopped up in Skidrow and Terminal. It was funny seeing the guys throw their care packages up on the plane....then after they figured out the issue, stealing 2 of the 3.

Going to see about getting on tonight....it's always fun. If we get enough that it is CAG only, we should to another knife fight.
 
Can we do a CAG team 1 vs CAG team 2 (not in a private match) when we have so many players? But yeah knife fights are hilarious and frustrating, especially when you realize you have 5ms lag and end up dead.

Playing demolition last night was good until the other team started cheating like crazy, actually almost every other game there was a glitcher. Nothing to do but go coldblooded and sacrifice another useful perk slot. /rant
 
Since I started playing a lot of hardcore/stealth oriented games, I started using Cold Blooded and I really have no complaints about it. I don't show up on UAVs, killstreaks don't target me unless some Momo runs next to me and the only other useful perk 2s for me are Danger Close and Stopping Power when I'm not running in CTF. I also don't run into glitchers as much but a whole team Cold Blooded will absolutely ruin any air support killstreaks, just something to think about.
 
Cold blooded is pretty awesome... if your whole team has it. otherwise, there will be one person without it, and ruin it for the rest of you by sticking too close to your damn team.

That is my biggest pet peeve. I seem to die at least 4 times a game because some idiot teammate decides to camp right by me or run out in the open right by me, so the enemy sees him first, not even giving myself a chance.

Oh, you mean like them calling in 4 Helicopters in a row and running through the streets when only 1 person on the team had >8 kills? That's not a glitch, is it? :roll:

Sigh...looks like I setup cold-blooded on almost all of my classes now, save for the one in free-4-all where I will try to get lightweight to pro and possibly use stopping power or danger close.
 
The only saving grace to the package glitch is when the whole opposing team tries to get the packages and leave all the objectives unguarded. This doesn't happen often but it's great listening to the other team yell at each other for losing.

Needless to say, I hope they fix it soon.
 
It does suck when trying to level up perks. I dont know if I want to prestige again, since it will start anew. Guess I have to retool most of my classes.

This one is almost as annoying as those damn javelin glitch abusers because this artificially messes with stats. Stats are not that important but again it is frustrating working on your ratios for bragging rights only to have them go down the drain because of some cheater with an inferiority complex... therapy is just a headshot away.
 
I'll be on tonight, got plenty of frustrations to vent. I also need to find some margarita mix. It should be a good night if Kefka is on for my margarita-fueled revenge.
 
I'll probably be down for some action....need to shoot something....or try a CTF (own) team kill again after finishing 1 spot out of the $$ in a poker tournament. Nothing like being the first loser.

Alright, so I passed out around 2 am after Kefka left. I don't think we did half bad, considering I remember most of the night, mostly me foraging for food and more booze. I look forward to a repeat tonight if anybody is going to be around. I had much better results when I switched to Ketel One, although I was drinking like triples... Ten inch strojna!

:beer:For those of age, I figure I'd post my MW2 magic potion(aka strawberry margarita) recipe. It's really simple.

12 oz of Margaritaville/Cuervo margarita mix - preferably already cold
4-5 oz of tequila, I happen to use Cuervo gold
half a tray of ice
a third of a bag of 20 oz frozen strawberries, so about a handful and a half

I put the ice in first and use a measuring cup but if you pour the liquids first it's easier to use the markings on the blender. Either way, liquids or ice in either order then strawberries go last. Blend on the Chop setting, you should get the top half slush and the bottom end liquid.

It really makes for about 3.5 tumblers worth of drinks, between the strawberry and the margarita mix it comes out really tart and tasty. I've been craving these like crack and Kefka can testify to their effectiveness.:beer:

The wonderful thing about our clan is that we don't have like any kind of skill requirement, as long as you're willing to follow a few simple rules that revolve around not getting us killed.

That's largely it, I mean we run through Demo, CTF and some Ground Wars lately but if we have a party of 6, it's usually Demo, CTF, S&D and maybe Sabotage. Quite honestly, I like to play CTF with the new guys, they seem to bring me luck and I end up scoring like 9 to 10 flags whenever we get one, as the matches progress people seem to pick things up and start scoring regularly. I play for the objectives mostly, so you'll hear me push for them and Kefka is more an outright killer that I've been molding with my insanity, so together we make it so the other 4+ players don't have to be as insane, over the top or as pressured to perform and give a good amount of breathing room for people to act like a team.

On that note, I'll need to pick up margarita mix for game night tonight. BFGN! Even though this post is at like 1:20 am!
 
If I don't grab some margarita mix or something else for tonight, I will be stuck drinking wine in a 20 oz wate glass. (need enough to last through a match)

If we have 6 of us we should try a bunch of CTF later and see if we can find some fools that suck so bad we nab 20 flagson them. Of course we need to play demo 1st to boost are k/d ratio because CTF seems to have a negative impact on the k/d.

it depends, sometimes we only play for about an hour and a half, a couple times we've played for over 3 hours.

Just remember to avoid me like the plague if I get the flag in Favela...or at least if I go up the side with the cars. Still not sure how marathon pro, lightweight pro, and ninja pro did that....maybe it was the stinger I was packing on my back. :lol:
