Okay today I tried the PS4 eye camera, the Playroom robots, and the PS4-eye compatible game Just Dance 2014.
The first thing I want to note is that I'm not sure what the right eye is doing on the camera, if anything. When I tried the Playroom robots, and covered up the right eye with my hand, it made no difference it seemed. Covering up the left eye messes up the picture though. So what is the right eye really for? Is it for if you are playing 3-4 players? Perhaps someone can elaborate on this.
Okay, let's go to talking about Just Dance 2014 and using the PS4 camera with it. The camera and game combination doesn't result in the most accurate thing in the world, but it is more accurate than when I played a Just Dance game on the Kinect 1 for the XBox 360. If I had to make a guesstimate, I'd say it was 30% more accurate than the Kinect 1 at Just Dance, picking up a lot more moves but still needing better accuracy to be perfect.
Weighing in on the Just Dance game, it's funny that it saves video of you doing the moves and plays it back to you after each round. I do not remember that before, but maybe it was there. Either way, it's funny to watch.
I should also note, you will need the camera or Playstation Move equipment for playing Just Dance 2014 PS4. I'm pretty sure of it, anyway.
My score of the Playstation Eye camera: 8.8/10
My score of Just Dance 2014 for PS4: 8/10
