If your EB still has any new N-Gage QDs they should now ring up @ $19.99.
I don't know how much they were before, but this seemed like a pretty good deal.

Also, all new games are now $2.99.

Edit: The QD is $49.99 @ Gamestop.

Thanks ! I got several for my collection plus extras for sale/trades ... I also got 2 brand new systems (QD) tony hawk unleashed systems for $49.99 each back in Feb.

whoa, Norcal friend...which store?

For my fellow Orlando, FL CAG's.

The EB in front of UCF is relatively new (2 years old) and has never had any N-Gage products ever. However, the manager said that games were pennied out and thusly thrown out three days ago. He said that if there were any stores in the district that may actually have N-Gage stuff, it would be at the Florida Mall and Mall at Millennia. I called the Mall at Millennia location and while they didn't have any systems, they had a good selection of $2.99 games. With the notable exception of Bomberman...so I didn't waste time/gas to get any games. I didn't check the Florida Mall location since that's much, much farther than I'd care to drive.

The Waterford GS said they haven't carried N-Gage stuff in "years."
Prep, where did you get yours at and did they have any more? I'm ouitside of Chicago as well.
Got it at the gamestop in Villa Park. And I grabbed the last one. Sorry man.

Well I stopped by EB and the employee stated they shipped all the stuff back to Nokia. Sounds like this deal is an extreme YMMV.

i was able to get two of them at 49.99 each ( one for me and one as a gift) and bought bomberman, puyu poyu (SP?) king of fighters, worms world party, puzzle bobble and pocket kingdom, any other ones i should get?

called 5 stores...4 didnt have any n gage stuff. 1 had the prepaid ngage which is $50 but its over an hour drive away. for $20 i would get it, but $50 i'll pass

I went to gamestop and was informed the sku that is 19.99 was for the original N-gage model, the qd is still 49.99, i grabbed the last one at gamestop in colonial drive in perrine, fl.

20 bucks? I'm going to have to pick one up.

Off topic but I'm still a newbie. Can anyone tell me what B&M stands for?

B&M = Brick & Mortar

Terminology usually used for a physical store versus an Internet retailer.

Not to be confused with S&M, which is associated with a different internet message board altogether...

If there's anyone in the Seattle area, the Gamestop in Northgate (where Funcoland used to be) should have one N-Gage QD left for $49.99. I asked if they had the $20 one and they said that they don't. They also have N-Gage games there although I'm not sure for how much.

My dad was definately screaming at me because I asked him to stop by there after work to pick it up for me.
I just poped in my T-Mobile sim card and everything works fine. Just called my parents. :D Best free phone I ever owned.
So there's no unlocking involved if you already have a T-Mobile sim card??? :) :) :)
Anyone in CA that has had any luck in this?
Not sure where you are but I called all stores in the Bay Area and San Diego + surrounding area and couldn't find any.

Mine was originally a demo unit, I'm not sure what the situation is for new ones.

...and also PLEASE do not confuse B&M with a BM... that really would be in bad taste here

im on my 4th try now, i used the link above, im not sure if mine is the n-gage QDa (RH-47) or the n-gage QD (RH29)
and i live in san diego, thanks
also, when unlocking, are you supposed to have a sim card inserted?
I am pretty sure that if you did not have one in the phone, you would not be able to use the phone. There would be a message saying insert the sim card.

If you remove the battery from the back of the phone it should tell you what version you have. You might be able to find out if you press, I believe it is *#0000#. This will give you the version number of the phone which should have that listed. I think that the RH29, was the european version of the n-gage.

Yeah I know what you are thinking, I know I need a new life.

Edit: Yes, *#0000# is the correct code, in case you are wondering. This code works on all Nokia phones.

I just had a major score at my Gamestop:

Sonic N
X-Men Legends
Pandemonium
Xanadu
Rayman 3
Worms
Puyo Pop
King of Fighters Extreme
Elder Scrolls: Shadow Key
Moto GP
Bomberman
Tiger Woods
Puzzle Bobble VS
Red Faction
Glimmerati
The Roots: Gates of Chaos

I got them to give them to me for $1.50 each.

Total = $25.44 after tax. Not bad. :)

This may be a stupid question, but what exactly does "unlocking" it allow you to do?

i the hell did u talk them into giving them to you for 1 50 each?!?

It just allows you to use whatever sim you would like. For the N-Gage it only allows GSM, so either Cingular or T-Mobile, and some other oversea carriers. So if you have a T-Mobile phone, you can unlock so it is Cingular phone. I don't know that helps.

Think of it this way:
You have one of the black razr's from Cingular. However you only have a T-Mobile sim card. If you placed the T-Mobile sim in the razr it would not allow you to even get to the main menu of the phone. So by unlocking the phone, it would allow you to use your T-Mobile sim in the razr. Pretty much what happens is carriers spend a lot of money to lock the phone specifically for their service, i.e. Cingular, T-Mobile. When the manufactor of the phone releases the phones they are unlocked, which you can do a search online to see that the unlocked phones cost pretty much an arm and leg compared to ones that have been locked to a specific carrier.

Sorry didn't mean to rank, just didn't know if that would help explain it a little better.

Ah, okay. That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. Thanks for the quick response, Wireless.

Beana, the games are $3.00 each normally but they rang up as 50% off at the first Gamestop I went to. I told this to the guy at the next Gamestop I went to (where I found all of those games) and he said no problem, and gave me the same deal. So if you plan on buying some games there, you may want to mention that other stores are selling them for 50% off.
nope, they wont budge :( oh well, 2.99 is ALRIGHT :(
Bummer. You could always try a different store... you might get lucky.
Bummer. You could always try a different store... you might get lucky.
yeah, but it seems this is the only store that has n-gage games, every other store is out!
