No one knows. And I'd say a new product means more demand early on as much as the opposite.Is it just me, or is beginning to look like Nintendo is over-stocking the launch of the Switch, as opposed to under-stocking? If some of these stock numbers are to be believed, every store is going to have at least 30-40 un-claimed Switchs ready for launch day. Given the fact that this system is an unknown, and has only been promoted for a few months, that seems like a lot of stock. It seems quite likely to me that anyone who wants a Switch on launch day will be able to walk into just about any big-box retailer and get one. I don't think a lot of casual consumers are going to be lining up for this thing.
