I think these are those clearance games mentioned coming in the other TRU ad thread. These prices go into effect Thursday December 22.

EDIT 3:These prices should be good to go Thursday. I checked the other stores markdown lists in my area Saturday and all of them had the 9.98 games. I got a friend's scanner and posted a page from the markdown list. I hope this works.

EDIT 6:I found the master list which is essentially the green tag games merged with the 12/22 list. I did find some new games that will be part of the B&M sale on Monday but still no Psychonauts for Xbox.

Other systems have more games so of course they have kiddie games. GC has a lot less "violent" games than the others.

STill Geist is not that good, but still for $10 you can't really go wrong.

People are getting bombers, kirby canvas curse and metroid prime 2 for 10 bucks at TRU. can someone tell me where I can find a full list of the more recent additions like those? I see people saying what they got but I can't find them mentioned at the beginning to see if there's anything else I want.

Have not opened it yet, but I loved the first two TS games. Lots of multiplayer stuff and a great story. I'd say go for it if you're not broke and near TRU hehe

Every game is in the OP (unless it's $10 because it used to be a green tagged game, in which case its in the Green Tag OP). I haven't seen anyone say they got Kirby Canvas Curse.

Gamecube version of TS:FP was Greentagged so it dropped to $10 a week or so ago.

just got back from st. peters, MO TRU and they had a ton of geist in stock. i bought 7 for ebay, whoooo!

ok, not really. they had seven, and they now have six. Go! run! fast! before they sell out!

I dropped by TRU today (Serramonte TRU, 3rd visit since 12/22) and it looks like they restocked those 9.98 games. I managed to pick up 3 of them: Geist, Metroid Prime 2, and Final Fantasy 1&2. Other games I saw that I can remember were Doom 3, Bloodrayne 2, Trigger Man, and the GTA Double Pack. As of this post I saw 5 copies of Final Fantasy 1&2 left in the bin. I don't know if there were more but that's what I managed to dig up from the bin. I wanted to pick up a few for CAGs here, but I didn't have enough cash left and I didn't have my credit card (damn infernal device!) So if you live in the Bay Area and are looking for FF1&2, check the Serramonte TRU in Daly City.

anxious? nah, there are just a few games [GT4 specifically] that if/when they drop I'd like to make sure that I get.
 
only played 5 minutes of geist so far but im fairly impressed. definetely a fantastic buy for 10. now i just got to find time for it and the 5 other cheapies i got in the last 2 weeks :(
 
At the store in Lake Charles, they moved alot of the xbox games onto shelves (we still use the ticket system). The GBA games were gone. I managed to pick up a copy of Geist, Metroid Prime 2, and Baten Kaitos (with soundtrack).

Baten was labelled $9.99, but it rang up $29.98 so the manager had to override it.
 
Wow Geist is entertaining, but way too easy. I suck at games and it's just "move forward. Then when you die they give you another person right in the room, and the AI is dumber than hell, and the glitches are so lame. One guy was walking in place because the glitch wouldn't let him move down the ramp.The levels are the asiest things then you get to the bad guys and it's like a completely different game.
 
My TRU had 2 or 3 copies of Geist left, but I only had $14 on me, so I got the last copy of Haunting Ground to HD Load then sell to GR for $19, and I only paid $9.98. :D They also had 1 copy of Conker left, a few Karaoke Revolutions left, 1 Golden Sun 2, and 1 FF 1&2 left for GBA. I hid a copy of Geist for myself when I go back tomorrow.
 
I'm curious: I bought Metroid Prime 2 on Monday thinking it was on sale. I ended up paying the $20 for it, because it's a gmae I've been interested in for a while.

If (and I'm hoping I do) I still have my receipt, would it be easier to return the game and then re-buy it at $10, or is it a simple process to get a price adjustment? I figure I can get two games for the $20 price tag, so I might as well go for it. Thoughts?

about that Timesplitters game it rang up at 49.99 i believe..didnt get it...but th worker there was helpful gave me a lsist and everything...said that not all the games were checked and tagged at 9.99 so i'll rpobably go back over the next couple days to check it out...any other good xbox/gamecubs games you guys recommend..they didnt have RE 4 for area 51...wont be getting RE 4 in stock anytime soon, if ever..

doubt it works cause workers go though looking for games people hid.... i know the one here they walk though very few hours checking.

Toys R Us having people go check for "hidden games"... please. I have never seen a clean TRU... ever. All they might do is put a game back on a shelf, and that is rare.

Wario World is a GB series. :p

The GC Waio Party game thingie is the EXACT same thing as the GBA game by the same name, but with more multiplayer. Still great game and even more so for $10.
 
i think some TRU workers are shady..they probably have games in hte back and keep it for themselves if there'a only a couple copies of it left..they dont even bother to check

It's been OVER A WEEK since the sale began, so clearly no one wanted this. And there's definitely nothing wrong with buying a game for cheap and trading it in high. A lot of people here at CAG have the HD Loader too, so don't feel so high and mighty.
 
I went in today and a DDS and Zelda 4 swords (with the cable) were in the case, I grabbed em both along with a Fatal frame II and also saw lots of the following:

Psychonauts
Geist
Metroid Prime II (this was in 3 different areas, well over 25 copies)
FF I and II
Golden Sun
SSX 3
Killzone (well over 20 copies)
Pirates (5 copies left)
Pikmin 2

They still have some in the store room as well and are moving them out as more room opens on the floor.

Buying a game and copying it? That's different.

You wouldn't go through the trouble of this except that you know you simultaneously get 9 bucks and a game out of it.

As for other people doing it, fine. They are being assholes too.

It's people like you that fuck up deals for the rest of us. And, ironically, you are the first ones to bitch when places like Gamerush start closing accounts and deleting games from trade in directories.

If you're going to be a fuckhead, don't brag about it.

I really, really need to figure out when people decided it was okay to copy shit, like they were entitled to get free media. It happened in the last 4-5 years or so, and everytime I see it happening I'm always astounded.

Feel free to respond to this like you have a fucking leg to stand on, as I'm sure I'll have more people on my case than you will.

Is Amplitude rare?

I am still looking for a second copy of RE4 (my first copy was preowned and had no manual), Tekken 5 and Bomberman.
