And like clockwork, my last match in IB last night/this morning was a troll. Everyone but me got IB goodness, but since I got blue Chest Armor and that is the only piece of IB armor I need it was a DOUBLE TROLL.

Maybe they weren't offering IB Chest Armor in this event? I know/think past IB's they didn't offer all the gear in the same event.

EDIT - speaking of gear from IB, I got 2 x artifacts, 2 x ghost shells, and 2 x gauntlets last night and the only improvement was one of the gauntlets (384 to 385, woo). io, with your gear drop experience from ToO, I think i'll make my body ready for some matches over the weekend.

^ Pretty much my IB week in a nutshell. Good RNG minus missing 1 emblem and 1 shader. Also no ghost.....

Highlight this week in Destiny was flawless three times and getting this finally:

Morning Guardians,

Just for anyone interested in the look of the Hard Mode shell - Picture doesn't really do it justice but you can see it's wrapped in SIVA and a very cool black and red colour

Very excited for next weeks HM offerings

Here's a list of everything we can expect to drop from the Hard Mode Raid - Like previous Raids, I imagine NM gear will drop from the HM Raid also in a 'Double Drop' type mechanic

The NM & HM Raid Shaders are found in the Shader Kiosk near Eva Lenante - They require you to have the FULL set of Raid gear for THAT character. From my research it looks as though you cannot transfer armour from other classes like we could in Taken King

The Hard Mode armour will also accept Ornaments to give the Spliced armour a very cool looking SIVA 'Glow' - Perfected Ornament

Yes, but the only armor that could drop from the reward screen was the gauntlets, which amazingly I didn't get once. I just bought all 3 for my characters. The chest, boots, and helm you had to get from the bounties or rank-up packages. I think I did manage to get a full set on one character, so that was nice.

Sucks that hard mode is dropping so early and when I'll be out of town. Hopefully someone will want to run it on the weekend. I'll be back the Friday of the week hard mode comes out.

As for tonight, I should be on around 9pm Pacific to run whatever. I don't want to have to resort to LFG for a Raid but I might have to since I have to get everything done by Saturday this week. At this pojnt, though, I'm wondering if I should save my SIVA cache keys for hard mode and not use them all trying to get all the normal armor I have yet to obtain (I've only gotten 4 out of 12, not even counting class items of which I've gotten 1). I'm guessing that the armor perks would be nice to have in hard mode though.

Also, I tried to re-roll one of my raid pieces using 5 siva cache fragments and the perks/stats were exactly the same as before I re-rolled. And yet my fragments were consumed. fuck you Bungie.

Dang, yeah that LMG looks like the best weapon from the Raid hands down. I like it and want it now. hahah

Also, I have to beat a Nightfall with a Hunter and a Warlock and so if anyone fits that bill and wants to run one tonight let me know!

I have the quest on both my Hunter and Warlock and need to run Nightfall on both so I can add the Hunter. What time you guys want to do this? As late as possible is best for me of course, especially if you guys want to do any of the other parts of the quest as well. If we are just doing Nightfall, though, I could do just that a bit earlier.

Otherwise I will aim for 8-8:30 Pacific.

Sorry, I couldn't join in but I did manage to get up to the raid portion of the quest. Now just need to finish her up. I can probably do a full run Friday or Saturday evening. Otherwise if we split it up I could jump on today possibly.

I'm missing a lot of armor, too, but I'm thinking it's probably best to save the keys for hard mode. At least for me and anyone else who might be 385-ish. Getting drops at the 385-387 range isn't helping me all too much.

I'm going to start hoarding legendary and exotic engrams again I think.

I think I had a RL pushed out of my postmaster last night because of all the stupid blue engrams from the boss encounter. I used three kills yesterday and the only extra drop I am missing was from the death zamboni.

I saw someone join the party right when I was leaving but I didn't have it in me to stay on anymore. I still need the 3 public events and the nightfall to be done on that first part of the quest.

Yup. I already have a half+ page full of exotic weapon engrams and a half+ page full of exotic armor engrams. :)

They need to fix that. Blues should not push out legendary and exotic drops.

I had a real good time with the CAG crew last night. Thanks a bunch for the invite and walking me through the first part of the raid. I really appreciate it.

I had raid gauntlets at the postmaster, so I went from 358 to 362 last night!

And I have to confess, most of the headshots on the splicers were probably me. I can't help it, I turn into a light fountain when I shoot them with my pulse rifle.

If a group is getting together for the weekend nights, count me in.  I need to finish the raid, do NF's, run strikes, whatever.  Just trying to boost my light level up.

Also, anyone want to join up to get that iron bell achievement?  I understand you need a couple people to do it. 

 
Got the Outbreak Prime quest finished with a couple of guys from LFG.com. After a couple of Dead Orbit packages and opening a few exotic engrams my Warlock is 384 with the Outbreak Prime or 383 if I go with the Gally. I also got a few 385 bonds from the forge today which helped with that. 

I also got the whole Khvostov quest done today so it was a very productive day in Destiny for me.

I'm staring to run low on motes and exotic shards again. Does anybody know if you can still trade in the VoG and Crota's End shards and energy to the speaker for motes?

I did notice that during the first two damage phases Outbreak Prime was great at DPS. Each round is a 1000+ headshot and then you get the swarms too, I think.

My Internet was busted last night during all of my prime playing hours (midnight - 5 am) so I didn't get much done. (Couldn't even watch Netflix - I had to go read a book!) I still have a Nightfall to run and 2 Raids. I'll definitely be taking care of some of that tonight even if I have to go to LFG. I'd be up for a CAG raid tonight and another one again tomorrow. I really want to run casual Trials Fri/Sat so I'm hoping the Raiding is all done by Friday at least.

I will gladly give you hand with any stuff you need to do if you see me on tonight. I'm done with all the important stuff for the week for my character but done mind running stuff again.

 
Was in a raid with a random from this clan I'm in and he said "hey guys, I'm gonna run to the store for a bit, trying to get wasted with my brother cause it's his birthday, I'll be back in 30 mins" ... I can't stand people like this. Raid was going smoothly too 😩

Hah, I have a Destiny friend who does this occasionally ;).

I did my last Nigthfall and got another 19 strange coins. I did PoE and got my last Taken Warlock item. Yeah, I know that is old stuff now, but I still wanted to get a full set on each character. Now I get to work on my Hunter!

Not too many people playing Destiny tonight. I think I'll be running with LFG for the Raid tonight. Hate to do it, but I really want to get 3 in this week. I just need to commit myself to a time limit. If we're struggling on the boss for more than an hour I'm out. Less on the earlier parts. It's not imperative that I beat the final boss - I just want to collect SIVA fragments for the hard mode chests. I'm not going to use any more keys on Normal because I just get duplicate shotguns at the first chest, duplicate rocket launchers at the second chest, and duplicate auto/scout rifles at the final one. I have only gotten 4 total pieces of armor so far (boots for Titan, boots/chest for Warlock, and arms for Hunter).

I'll still have one more to run with the CAG group if we can do it Friday night.
