Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

It retails for $15 and can still be found in plenty of places, so they really wouldn't have any resell value. The adapter is pretty useless, considering you can only use it to transfer your saves over, basically making it something you use just once. People usually chip in with friends to get one or just buy it used and return it.

Thanks for the response, bigdaddybruce44. I really appreciate it. Now that I know that I cannot profit from these, I might just pick one up for a friend that has the PS3. I'm sure that he can find some use for it.

Actually, I'm almost certain they added the ability to transfer saves both ways a couple of firmware upgrades ago.

Did they? Oh, well. My mistake. Still a pretty useless accessory, outside of getting your old saves onto the PS3. Couldn't really picture anyone that desperate for space on the PS3 that they need to hold onto and use 8MB memory cards.

I found the update post.
Copying Saved Data to a Memory Card � Users can now copy saved data from PlayStation or PlayStation 2 format software stored on their PS3 system to a Memory Card or Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation�2), using their PS3 system and a Memory Card Adaptor.

Thanks for this info, I picked up a set of balls that were $100 for $9.97, also saw the covers at $9.97 & a few cues for $2.97-$3.97. They had dart flights at .47 cents & plastic tips for cheap too. I believe the actual electronic dartboards were $20

DoA4 was clearanced summer/fall of 2007. what you saw were restocked items with probably a different sticker-upc/barcode (maybe new front lane games).

The PH version is probably not on clearence. I picked up the non-ph version last year for..8.97, I cant remember exactly, but that was the version on clearence.

A Store here has 3 non-PH versions of DOA 4 ringing up at $19.99 ;)

I havent seen it mentioned, but when I was picking up my home theater system I saw PS3 Singstar w/ mics for $39.97. I personally havent seen this cheaper anywhere else. I didnt pick one up but there was 2 stll sitting there at the Madison, WI East Towne mall location.

my sears had two gamecube controllers (upc: 804926050053) RAZOR mini contoller for only 97 cents each!

I was laughing so hard......of course I bought 'em. Controllers are straight.
 
I at last found my first game mentioned on the OP for the mentioned price. Burnout Revenge :360: for $3.99 in Woodland Hills, CA mall. Guy manually inserted in the price for me (name was Oscar if any of you are looking for a chill guy to assist you with the case).

With an older clearance title like that I highly doubt they sat around all this time, they most likely were sitting in the warehouse or they were shipped in from a different store.I have seen titles at my local store that were long gone for months and bam one day there are 4 or 5 in a clearance bin.

LOL, I'm not usually a "Hoarder", but they were $3 and I've been to that Sears a billion jillion times and I've never seen this game there, and then I stumbled upon a lone pile of Burnout games in an area no where near the other games. They were all $3 so I figured these are awesome Christmas presents. It's a decent game and almost everyone I know is kinda interested in it. I'm glad someone(Strider Turbulence) understands why I bought them all, this game has been on clearance for a ridiculously long time.

This could be true, but I never checked out any area but the Videogame area, I found this pile on the opposite side of the electronics section. The games could have been there the whole time, but I just have no idea.

My brother is a big time ebay seller and tends to hoard at times :bomb: and one time he was at sears and he said there is this game Suikoden V and they have 4 of them at $6.97 is this a good game lol... Well I knew they just showed up out of the blue because I used to go to that store weekly and they were never there but thankfully he sold me a copy for the same price.

Yeah, now that I think about it. Some Sears are getting in games like DOA4 that were previously not there, but they have been marked up to $20. Heh if games are being shipped from the warehouse I wonder they are supposed to adjust the price or not. Speaking of which I have a SEARS OUTLET store in my area, I've never checked it out but I wonder if they have tons of 360 clearance games just waiting to be "Hoarded" LOL. If I check it out, maybe today if you all are so fortunate. I'm expecting to find clothes and appliances almost exclusively.
 
I swung by the Sears in Lewisville, TX and got a 360 Messenger Kit for $4.97+tax and a Pink Wireless 360 controller for $17.97+tax.

I love CAG. :D

$17.97? Last one I bought was $10.97 and someone told me another store had them for $1.97. Still not a bad deal, just surprised it was that high.
 
Yesterday I picked up the XBL Vision Pack for only $19.97! It was the old packaging (not the orange bubble thing) and on the side of the box it said that the subscription must be redeemed by 6/30/08.
The clerk said "I don't think I can sell you this since you have to redeem it by then, so I was thinking "Piss there goes the 12 months, but hey I'll get the camera for $20 off".
So I get home and enter everything in and no problem! 200 MS points work, 12 XBL Gold works, and the two XBLA games work also (even though on each card it says "Redeem by 6/30/08) SCORE!
 
If anyone picks up an extra Burnout Revenge for $1.97, I'd possibly be interested in taking it off your hands. My sears never has anything D: (Oak Brook, IL) Just shoot me a pm with price.
 
a sears near me has a live vision bundle (codes expire 6/30/08 according to the side of the box), but it still rings up 79.99. which one is the 19.xx one?

That should be the one, I got mine in Gurnee, IL at Sears Grand (if it makes a difference) and it had a pink Sears sticker over the $79.99 price for $19.97. I think the clerk might of had to key the price in because the manager had to override it so that might be YMMV, I dunno know.

Sears clearance is always YMMV, at least in SoCal. I've been to 3 Sears near my house and got the Messenger Kit at $9.97 at 2 stores and $11.97 at other store. Same with GC memory Card, $ 0.97 and $2.97.

My suggestion is buy at that 79.99 price and then return to other Sears store and buy it back to see if the price is different.
 
I am not sure if this has been posted (it doesn't come up on the search and isn't on the first page). Haze is now on clearance for 29.97 instead of 29.99. Let the drops begin.

They never budge on price though.

That's interesting. There are 5 games at my store that I know had the same Hol. 07 UPC and it was a sticker.
