Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

So do you guys think a Sears -> Sears receipt pricematch would work if the stores are in different states?

I was thinking it'd be cool if we set up some kind of receipt lending program as there are always those YMMV stores that dont have the clearance games at clearance prices. Has anyone tried different state receipt pricematching?

Pirates of the Caribbean: At worlds end for $2.00

Splinter Cell DA for $5.00
All for 360
Scanned Godfather 360 and they still want $30!!

You're kidding, right? that's major YMMV. Even in the same state it's still a miracle that they honor other store's prices.

Hey, CAGer's in MA or NH or anyone visiting New England. Burlington Mall Sears has a couple of Def Jam: Icon on the 360 for 4.97. There were atleast about 3 of them left if you wanted to scoop one up. Happy hunting!

Once again, please post your receipt or I'm not going to believe you. No offense, but no store is selling Mario Kart Wii for $5 when they are flying off the shelves at $50.
 
Warning: At the Natick, MA Sears, one of the electronics clerks reads CAG. He bought 4 or 5 games last week and thanked CAG for it.

He's a new one, since he still has the "I'm a Trainee!" tag on.

This isn't the first time he's reported insane deals with no basis in reality and no proof. This sounds like another case of that.

Timeshift 360 - 1.97 (WTF?!?!!? Cheaper than a large diet coke w/ extra ice!!)

Saw some other gems and will promptly go back. Report to follow.

My Sears is effectively picked clean until next go around. However, I did spot Timeshift with a 9.97 sticker on it. For 1.97 I would definitely give it a shot.

I have returned from my runs to happily report the following:

Timeshift 360 x2: 1.97
DQM: 2.97
Super Swing Golf 2 Wii x 2: 2.97
Bionicle Heroes 360: .97

Those prices are YMMV from the 3 sears I went to, so I'm just saying these are possible. One sears had BHeroes at 1.97, another had it at 19.99, Swing Golf 1 was more expensive than SG2 or wasn't discounted at all. That DQM was the last one and they were all Red Tag Clearanced.

My sears actually did a price adjustment on DQM. It went down to $2.97 at my store. Before you call me cheap, I snagged a copy for $14.97 a month ago.
 
found 2 copies of battalion wars 2 and a copy of armored core 4 (360) at the Warwick Mall, RI sears... for $4.97 each

i thought about grabbing a copy of each for myself... but I decided not to.
 
Update for eastern MA CAGers: I hit the Square One Mall Sears in Saugus and nabbed the following:
Bionicle Heroes (X360) - $1.97. There were two or three more copies at that price.

And all for $4.97:
Pirates of the Caribbean AWE (X360)
Def Jam Icon (X360)
Bullet Witch (X360)

Last copies of each. The store did have one copy of Battalion Wars 2 (Wii) for $4.97, and several copies of Splinter Cell DA (X360) for $9.97, but I'm hoping for another drop. When do they traditionally happen?

In addition to that, I hit the Sears in Peabody, MA. They had several copies of Def Jam Icon and Pirates of the Caribbean for X360. Didn't price check Pirates because it was still in the glass, but DJI did ring up at $4.97. I did get two copies of FEAR for PS3 for $4.97 each. I left two more copies for other CAGers, so I hope y'all can make it out there!

A nice haul, but I was hoping for either Eternal Sonata or Dynasty Warriors Gundam for under $10. Ah well.
 
thats a sears thats closing their video game section that Ice Cold found. those games he mentioned are all fairly new so i dont think they'll clear them out anytime soon. besides, most sears havent even replenished themselves from the holidays. and non of the ones i went to had mario kart wii.

Odama was marked $29.99 but wouldn't scan, so the manager RTVed it.

Mario Kart Wii is indeed on clearance, I saw one in a clearance bin. It was tagged $49.97.

I found a DDR game for PS2 - cant' remember the exact one. The box was beat up and I figured it was too old to scan.... and it wouldn't, so they RTVed it. I think I just missed out on a major score.

Megaman ZX scanned in as something else... they wouldn't let me see what it was, but it wasn't the game. They figured it wasn't the right product because it was $499.99. I don't know why this would happen, because they were scanning the generic UPC not a stickered UPC. This is probably the dumbest thing to happen to me.

I flipped out when I saw a copy of Ace Combat X for PSP... until it scanned in at $39.99. This seriously confused me because I know that this Sears had the lowest clearance prices i've seen so far.

Mercury Meltdown is $14.99 everywhere I go. It's not even a clearance price :(

Ace Combat X for PSP was $3 at Sears, well over a year ago. Looks like your Sears forgot to put it on the clearance schedule. Otherwise, it probably would have rung up out of the system.

Also, it baffles me that Mario Kart Wii would be on clearance. Still, you're saving a whole 2 cents...

There was a 3 xbox 360 games for 25% off ( one was 3.74 other two was 11.23)

splinter cell was the 11.23 one

rest of the stuff i got last week did not fall in price

Probally take the hulk back after reading some reviews sounds very bad game
