Be aware that not all Sears are alike, so prices are definitely YMMV.
List
  • date = date posted or updated
  • cp = current price
  • opp = old posted price
  • (oos) = out of system
  • * = posted at different prices (more than twice, most are)
Colors
  • white = current update
  • dark gray = old (ie. out of stock items)
if the prices are not updated in over a month, it will be colored as dark gray.

notes:
  • Don't turn this into your own trade list. Don't ask people if they want to trade X game for your Y game. PM is the best way to ask. Do your trading on the Sears Trade Thread.
  • Print UPC-A barcodes if you're having a hard time getting someone to open the cases for you. If you need UPCs refer to Half.com (just type the name of the game) or to io's kmart clearance thread. Go to either UPCDatabase.com or Barcodesinc.com to generate a UPC A barcode.
  • If you bring up a game and the employee scans it and does not show up in the system, it is most likely that the item has been pulled out of their inventory (most of us would call it 'out of system'). What this means is that the item must be returned to the manufacturer (so they were told anyways, but i don't believe it..). You can try to get them to sell it to you for the stickered price shown or maybe lower. It depends on the employee or manager.
  • Some of you are confused as to why some games are priced and rung up at retail prices but its listed below as clearanced at their respective clearance prices. Heres a good example:
    • 100607 ... 01.97 ... 09.97 ... Dead or Alive 4 (Non PH) *
    • ^^^^^ notice how the last reported price was October 6, 2007. The Platinum Hits version was also on clearance since it shared the Regular version's barcode. But they put the price back up in retail a few months later. Hence you still see the game now as retail instead of clearance.

I did see a few titles like Eragon (360) with a pink sticker on it with the price at $4.97 or something like that - so they are listing the sales at some stores.

A few weeks back when I was there my store was listing the clearance priced games and prices on the glass video games case. I was shocked that they were actually advertising things like Eragon, EBA, and the Harmony Remote.
 
Price tags galore at my Sears too... saw a sign advertising Rogue Galaxy for $6.97, but no copies in sight. :whistle2:(

Picked up a 20gb HDD though, would love to trade for a Harmony Remote and the cost of shipping. :)
 
My store has a handful of Harmony remotes the last time I was there (this was a few weeks ago). If they still have them I'll try and grab one or two for my fellow CAGs.

Ok, scored the following in Hicksville, NY

Kameo for $2.97 (they had 3 copies, I got 2)
Viva Pinata limited edition packaging w/ DVD (still $19.99 but whatever)

They had 2 Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged there but they rang up at $31.97 - doh!

Silver faceplate wasn't appearing in the system, clerk would have to check with manager and the guy had some old dude pestering so I let it be.

They're still tagged at $60.97 at mine, so I'd say you found a decent deal. Not quite as good as the $25 K-Mart had them for, but nevertheless a deal.

Scored Virtua Tennis 3 (finally!) for 8.97 and Card Fighter's Clash DS for 2.97 at Everett, WA Sears. Still probably 2 or 3 Card Fighters left.

Unplugged rang up 31.97 at my sears as well.

all stores should be having games that are on this list on clearance. but since this is sears, management, region or district could probably be different from each other. thats why youre seeing people posting different prices for the same game. maybe they are given a percentage of what might be the next clearance price should be, im not really sure. the employees that messaged me regarding their pricing strategies doesn't really mention much. what you can do is print a UPC (scan the barcodes at the price checker stands) so you'll know before hand when you see the game at their glass cases.

Mighty nice find in VT3. That game is hella-fun. I still have a few achievements to get (sold the game a while ago), so I may have to go hunting again.

picked up 2 Shadow of the Colossus at 6.97 each today - going back tomorrow to get 3 copies of Tetris DS (normal price, but still worth it).

Just looked at EBay, and I am surprised Tetris DS is worth over $60. Nintendo is stupid to not re-print it if it's worth that much

Question: I got a few Card Fighters for $6.97... cann I get some money back if I go to Sears later and they have dropped the price, or do they not do that on clearance games?

I believe you should have no problem if its from the same store. Getting them to price match another competitors clearance price is a little harder. We always price match our own clearance prices so you should be fine.
 
FYI---New clearance prices usually go live on the 8th of each month (based on info from the PLU). Prices vary store to store---it seems dependent on how long its on clearance and how many of them they have.

I may be able to check new clearance prices on games for certain stores if you want to PM me. Success will vary because I usually can only pull up new markdowns for the month.

This will vary from store to store-- My store manager has stated in no uncertain terms on multiple occasions that we do NOT price match our clearance prices because of their nature of constantly dropping.

Picked up a rogue galaxy for 5.97, elite beat agents for 5.97, and virtua tennis 3 for 8.97 today. Our clearance bin has a handful of things left but nothing stellar.

Last year, I bought an Xbox Live kit for $11 at one Sears. I took that receipt to a Sears 8 miles away that had a couple more, and was denied a PM. The manager told me that she didn’t have to PM, because “Every store has different clearance schedules”.

Yea I should have been more clear---has to be with the exact same store. Sears is very YMMV with price matching. I noticed our store is very relaxed on ours (might be why were #1 in the district) while we have customers coming from other Sears complaining about it and we'll just give them the price match.

I'd be surprised if that's why-- Like I said, we're strict on pricematches, yet we were recently in the top ten in the US.
 
Just got Eragon (360) for $3.97 and Elite Beat Agents (DS) for $8.97. Both were in the case and not the bargain bin. Other games on the list, like Star Trek: Legacy (360) were also in the case.
 
Picked up Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged for $3.97. Kameo rang up $6.97. I wanted to pick it up, but I could have sworn it used to be like around $3. I'm holding out that it will drop further :)

I can't believe how cheap I've grown.
 
I looooooove sears. I found two XBox live 12 month bundles with MechAssault and the headset. I thought they had to be clearanced out of the system.

Grabbed em.. scanned.. nothing. Not in the system. Guy calls a second guy over. "Oh, they're not scanning because they're on clearance. They're 69.99"

...wooooooooow.
