Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

I checked the other local Sears today and scored Wolfenstein and WET for PS3 for $5 each. They had one more copy of Wolfenstein, but I didn't want/need another one, so I left it.

i hate the fuckin employees that give you the "sticker price" answer
 
I scanned my upcs for:

Wheelman PS3 - ask associate for assistance
Wheelman 360 - ask associate for assistance

Gran Tourismo PSP - 19.99
 
Checked a couple of area Sears but didn't have a lot of luck. I grabbed Boy and his Blob, Star Wars Clone Wars Wii, and a couple of Excitebots with the wheels for $5 apiece.

Was hoping to get a Metroid Prime Trilogy for the collection. If any CAGs want to work out a trade for one of my Excitebots I'd definitely be interested. In fact, I would definitely sweeten the deal through Paypal.

Hope someone can help out a gamer, not looking to flip it just want the tin case for the collection (as well as the great games obviously.) Thanks.
 
I found a lone copy of A Boy and His Blob at the Sears in Haywood Mall in Greenville, SC. No Prime Trilogy or Wet though. Anyone who picked up an extra copy of Wet willing to part with it for < $15? I doubt it, but it's worth asking about.
 
Got denied a return of Singstar 2 bundle today - thought it was because i did 3 returns prior to this, but after calling they said the reason was something about validating the return period. Makes no sense since the receipt scan should tell them that info and its within 30 days. Lady on phone said the systems have trouble sometimes...ok, then.
 
Thanks for the heads up Devil May Cry. I was actually going to every sears around me to find Muramasa. Im happy to say I found the last copy at a sears near me in SoCal for 4.97! CAG has saved me so much! I love this site, and the people in here as well! Thanks again guys! =)
 
I went to the Sears across town yesterday and picked up one of the $15 digital picture frames and the Red Bull game for 27 cents. That's probably the cheapest I'll ever find a game in my life. It's all downhill from here, folks!

The only place that I think has clearanced it thus far has been Target, though I think some found it cheaper at WalMart too, but WalMart clearances are very highly YMMV(even moreso than Target/Sears/Kmart).

But if you guys only want the official Sony BT headset from the SOCOM bundle, you could also try Best Buy for the Tom Clancy's Endwar bundle, as both of those for PS3 and 360 are down to super cheap now as well.

Unfortunately, the 360 bundles were known to have issues where the battery in the wireless headset would get to the point where the battery would no longer hold a charge.

Both bundles for 360/PS3 were $19.99 each.
 
I found the Lips bundle (two mics) but it rang up as 49.99. Did it go back up in price? I thought it was on clearance like in April for 4.97? Or was the clearance for the Lips #1 Hits bundle?

i picked up the endwar bundle at target a while back $22.xx, played/traded endwar that same day, basically i paid $10 for the headset, ive checked walmart, bb, fry's, etc etc, kmart and sears are the only store to exactly have the bundle in stock, so im just waiting to jump on the drop (if it ever comes down)

It was the original Lips bundle for 360 with the two mics, but some stores have not dropped these in price, much like some are reporting other games haven't dropped at their stores.

If you can, print up a UPC for the original Lips bundle and try it on one of the scanners at another Sears in your area. If it rings up $4.97(or cheaper) there, then your only option may be to try a return/rebuy at the cheaper store. Good luck.

If a store updates it's clearance prices, does it update every game at one time or is it updated one game at a time?
Because I found a store that had all recent clearance prices for all their games except 1 or 2. I bought all the games that rang up correctly, but passed of the $9.97 games that should have been $4.97.

Are you sure you aren't mistaking the 360 game prices for the PS3 ones? A lot of the drops from last week had PS3 games clearanced at $5, with the same games for 360 at $10.

I experienced the same thing with

Lego Rock Band. One store had it ring up at 4.97 but another had it ring up for 14.97.
 
Some stores don't follow all the drops. All sears drops are YMMV. I believe someone once discovered that sears drops go into effect 11:59 PM, thus the reason why Thursday June 3rd was the date for the next drop, but obviously it is June 4th for us since the stores are closed at that time.

So if a game is ringing up 39.99 at one store and 4.97 at another, simply put, you're out of luck. (unless you wanted to buy from store A and return/rebuy at store B...your call and time I guess.)

Also took a second look at a local sears for ExciteBots, no luck. Did manage to find two copies of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for 4.97, PS3.

Hey, I just want to ask, was the God of War PSP ever on clearance? Seems to be out of system now, since I asked someone to check when I saw one.

Also on a note I saw a copy of Metroid Prime 3 with a march tag of $24.97 what are they going for now?I would of checked but the place was barron of any employees and this place had all games locked up.
 
Not to get too ahead of myself here, but does anyone know/think/theorize that next month's drop will be July 2nd? Or is that too early in the month and/or messed up with Sunday the 4th?

Please forget about Store B.
What I was trying to says is that Store A has update the price drops for Boy and Blob and Bakugan, but has not updated the GH Metallica.
So is it possible for one store to only update the price drop only on specific games?

Picked up Guitar Heroes World Tour game for the Wii for $4.97 today at the downtown St Paul, MN store today. There weren't many good deals there today. It looked like it was already picked over.

I'm intersted in this one too... I already have Metroid Prime Trilogy, and I bought Metroid Prime 3 on release date, but a "friend" of mine stole 17 games from me... little by little... I didn't even notice that he was stealing from me, and one of those games was Metroid Prime 3.

My Sears had 2 copies yesterday...it rang up $49.99.
 
Long shot but I've exhausted all of the Sears within 100 miles of me.

If anyone has any extra copies of Metroid Prime Trilogy CE I will paypal $20+ shipping for one.

I know it's not what you'd get from ebay but you'd be hooking someone up who will play the games and make a little for your trouble.
