Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here
Dang. Got Bayoneta for $5.97. Well, I shouldn't say dang. It's a good deal.

You might be surprised how much Best Buy will give you for that 'junk' lol. PokePark Pikachu's Adventure Wii, while it may not be junk(I don't know.) , was $6.97 and got me $16BB.

Not to derail this thread, some things are being added to the OP here(Sears is in light blue/turquoise): http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=322515
Pokepark is bad, I played it and there is really no game to it, its just running around and making friends with Pokemon, and a few minigames thrown in. Nothing like a core Pokemon game at all. It might be fun for a 5 year old, but I think even they might be bored by it. I now know to stay away from Pokemon spinoff's. I also traded mine in to BB for $16 credit.

Called up 2 Sears kinda close to me & they both pretty much said that by Tuesday if you don't find what your looking for its going to be shipped to a warehouse then given away as charity.

I haven't heard anything of this sort at my Sears, so I presume it might be a local thing as part of some tax writeoff.

FYI, the % off sales at the western NY Sears stores should be dead as of today.

Noticed the sign was gone at one of the stores when I was in there today, so I asked an employee. Apparently, the extra % off sales were the doing of the wny regional manager rather than corporate, and corporate sent out some sort of direct "Holy sh*t! What the hell are you doing? Kill the sales now!" memo today.
Well the ones I called were in PA & DE.
Hopefully those PA stores were in the southern edges of the state and not closer to the NY state line cuz I still have this $5 in free points I gotta use and apparently they expire TODAY according to the email.:bomb::bomb: fuck. That means I gotta go to my closest Kmart n grab some shitty ass game for $5 just to make sure I get something with it since Sears is already closed for the day with it being Sunday.:bomb:;)
Pokemon Black for $10?! YOU LIE!!!!!
I saw pokemon silver today for $15. It came with a little pokeball electronic thingy. Should I go back to buy it?

If you liked the original gold or silver then sure. If you don't care about Pokemon that much then just buy some Chinese food lol.

Someone cleaned all the pokemons out of the Amherst Sears here, they weren't even that good of a price, they were 24.99 with maybe 25% off. I got what I wanted from that Sears though before they were cleaned out so I didn't care.

It's 12:33 and I'm going to wash my clothes... Do you think I should bother even going to the Sears I visited two days ago again for once last time?
Well the ones I called were in PA & DE.
Was wondering if the 202 Concord Mall store was one of the ones you called as far as clearance. I went to the Granite Run Mall Sears this morning and it was the usual batch of $4.97 clearance games (Rock Band/ old sports titles) and then the "clearanced" $15 shovelware. They had a whole case of games behind the glass but nothing marked, so I'm assuming they are all MSRP.

I'm debating on hitting the CC Mall store today if the pink tags are all still in effect.
Any of you know if Best Buy has a clearence section? Or should I keep on driving by them?
You can check your local Best Buy's clearance stock online. Find your store using the store locator and typically there is a section on the left for clearance items in your store. You don't need to drive around.

Yes I called the one at Concord mall & Granite Hill Mall. Granite Hill Sears had nadda in clearance. Went there today. All that was left was musical games & Pokemon Black & White were $20 oh and that Prince of Persia game made for the latest movie was like $6

I scored BIG today! Went to Sears to check the crappy bargain bin again(some stuff was a few bucks but not worth selling or trading and I bought the titles like that that I was interested in) and saw three DS Imagine games that weren't there before. Grabbed those cuz the price was same as trade-in at Best Buy. Scanned them for the heck of it, and they rang up .50 so that was cool. I walk around a bit and then see two employees doing something at the bargain bin. They said they're stickering almost everything in the bin to .50 cuz Corporate doesn't like it when things zero out. Here's my list haha:

All .50

Why would you buy so many kiddie games when you know their resell value is pretty much zero...

Trade fodder, of course. That's how I built up a lot of credit at GS back in the day, by using cheap clearance titles to pad those tiered promos there.

You'd be surprised what some 'shitty' games get.;)

LOL, I bought some shitty 1.00 games earlier last week just to pad out my collection. :p .50 for any sealed game isn't a bad deal to a collector. Or you know, trade fodder like IATCG said.

Why the hell can't my stores have those deals?!!!! One at Granite Hill didn't have much at all and not just saying that. I WANT POKEMON BLACK FOR THAT PRICE!!!

They finally ended 67% off clearance games at my store but not before I made one last haul. Apparently it had ended in the morning but the manager missed a sign. When she came to apply the discount, she said that the sale had ended. I told her there was still a sign up and showed it her. She told me I was lucky :)

Yeah I checked my store for Pokemon games and I think Gold and Silver were $24.97. One of the others was $19.99. But yeah I'm definitely going to do some research on my haul to see what worth's selling/trading in/etc. 50 cents for even a garbage game, is worth getting. There's always deals where I can make money off it. Worst case, it's not worth any right now and later on it won't be either so I lose .50 on them. The profit I make on the others more than makes up for it. Besides, that's when people started sniffing around so I didn't have time/want to take the chance to sift through every single game. I saw enough to know there was good stuff. My last great haul was like two years ago, I got 38 games for $172. They were actually good titles too

I was very surprised at the price. Thought they'd cost around $10 but guess not. My store got AC PSP bundles three weeks ago but were gone like a week later. Luckily I managed to get four PSP Go Pearl White's several month's ago, so I didn't miss the other bundles too much ;)

What did you expect, you live in the most taxed out state.

Wow. Reading all these posts, I wish my Sears did that. All games are 50%, but nothing good.

Anyone know if the psp 3000 is clearanced? Google shop doesnt show it for sears anymore.

SYWR secret sale going on today thru thursday, check your email. 10% off regular, clearanced and sale priced electronics, not sure if that counts video games. bar code you need to print in the email id imagine.

So I looked up values on the games I got yesterday. Trading in only 14 of the 40 games will net me double what I paid for all 40 haha. Ooh wait, I forgot it's double value! Then there's games worth more selling than trading. A great start to my week, I think. Right place, right time

A Sears I went to had "select" games for 50% off of the regular clearance price. Most of it was garbage, but I picked up 2 copies of Golden Sun Dark Dawn for $5 each. now if only the rest of the games would do the same. I've got my eye on the Uncharted Dual Pack and a DS Bundle, plus some other good stuff.

One of the Sears in my area finally did the 50% off of clearance and I got (all prices include the 50% discount):

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock bundle with Guitar: $20
12 Month XBOX Live Messenger Gold Pack: $30
Pokemon Soul Silver (with pokewalker): $12.50
Pokemon Diamond: $10
Harvest Moon Magical Melody Wii: $5
Final Fantasy XII (360) : $7.50
2010 Fifa World Cup South Africa (360): $5
Bioshock 2 (360): $6.50
Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers: $6.50

So secret that my store had a table outside the entrance with flyers for it! Ssshhhh...
looks like it's time to see if any of the sears near me have this 50% going!
Well I can say at my nearest Sears there was no additional % off happening. There was an employee putting out what looked like several clearance stickers. He was looking around like he was on the moon though so I could tell it would be a while.

I had my son so I couldn't hang out but I'll likely go back tomorrow and see what new prices are marked.
I rarely go there, thinking, hey, its the busiest mall in buffalo. But i figured what the heck. There were a lot of ps360 sports games for 9.97 and that was it. I had the dude scan a wii mario kart that was marked $39.97, but it was the correct price.
Over the last 3-4 years Ive found a ton of stuff at the Walden, Transit and NF Blvd stores. The only one I havent done well on is Mckinlly. But even then I get lucky with a mistaken price. The best I do is usually transfer sale route. Say Walden has a DS for 9$ in their system but have no stock. But NF Blvd has it for 99.99 in the case. You can cash it out transfer sale at Walden for 9 and pick it up at the NF Blvd store.

anyone have any issues with google shop? when i type "psp" or "xbox 360" etc. the google shop use to show stuff nearby for sears, but now nothing is showing.

 You shoulda been around here a couple of years ago when some clearance games were going to $.46 and somtimes even lower than that. Those were the days. But now it seems like stuff is going 75% off at most and then going outta the system at Kmart/Sears.

Wow. I just saw a guy purchase over 100 games, all kinect sensor, all ds XL, DSi, storage towers for all 3 consoles, etc.

He told me he was a dealer.......

All games were 50% off the clearance price. (ex: Castlevania los $19.97x50%=$10, Spiderman SD $15x 50%=$7.50,etc)

The ds XL was $129.99 and DSi $99. the wii storage tower was $39.97 before 50%. This is the first time I ever saw a hoarder.....

Checked my store to see what was up due to the disappearance from Google Shopping. They removed the "extra 50% off signs" and all clearance was back to regular clearance prices.

I think I just live in a bad CAG location. My Targets and K-Marts are all kept incredibly up-to-date so clearance finds are wiped out long before they go on clearance, and my Sears is apparently the only Sears in the nation not trying to clear out their game section.
