Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

Ok everyone, I went back again today to see if there was anything I missed. I was pretty sure some of the titles that were in the bin were also on a shelf somewhere but I hadn't looked. I'm doing this for my fellow CAGs(and cuz I'm giddy haha), so don't hate me more than some of you do already;). Here's my haul today:

Wii:

High School Musical Sing It .50
High School Musical 3 Senior Year .50
Spore Hero(Was zeroed out, Manager gave it to me for $1) $1

PS3:

Fracture .50

PSP:

Daxter .50
Army of Two 40th Day .50
Modnation Racers (3) .50

3DS:

Ridge Racer 3D .50

My Manager friend, who likes me cuz I get rid of stuff that's been there forever, told me there was a DS pack in the back I could have for cheap cuz he wanted it gone. So he gave me a DS Adventure Bundle(Pic on box shows a DS Lite) brand new for $50. THEN near the register I saw a new, clearanced Panasonic DMP-BD65P-K Bluray player for.......$24.93!!

Then I went to Best Buy and traded in about 17 of the games and got $130, which I had paid $8.50 for lol. I still have games to keep or sell. I made note of what's in the glass cases and will be meticulously printing out UPC's to scan them, so I'll update once I finally do that. Managers told me the games are looking to be completely gotten rid of by the holidays, in my store anyways.

No go at my local SEARS Store (Independence, MO & Kansas City, MO). the cashier say "it'll coming soon"but he don't know when in JULY !!!!

I wish I could, I really do. But then I wouldn't get the deals ;)

 Every time I've ever revealed my source for good deals, they dry up on me. So that's why I only say 'my local X or Y store' anymore and even if people ask me in PM's I'm not gonna say anything.

I wouldn't tell, either!

Except I know where most of your locations are!:booty:
And NO, they don't dry up from me either!

If you have to ask... Ohhhh!!!! SCORE!

I keep saying I'll hit up Kmart and Sears. Maybe I'll find $0.50 games at both!:applause: ...or not.

At my local Sears, they were only doing 25% off clearance prices. I found a bronze DSi XL tagged at $159.97 and had it scanned. It rang up $79.97, so I got it for about $60 + tax after a manual discount. The worker said that they just reduced the price of it today at that store. The Sears SKU for it is 5893045 and the UPC is 045496718909.

That's what she said. Or wait, what? My Kmart cleared all their stuff except for new games and the bin near the register. Problem is I don't recall what's a couple bucks and I don't feel like grabbing armfuls of games to scan. I'll check it at some point though.

Yeah I know. The stores here have been drying up due to the one local shop owner unfortunately.:bomb::whistle2:#

You people are lucky. I went to the only Sears around here and nearly everything had a red clearance sticker yet still had a higher price than what Amazon (or in some cases, Gamestop) charges. The only thing I saw that was even close to an actual clearance price was Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Guitar Hero 5 for $3.97.

Seriously, nothing over here in any department's getting put out for a good price. I even saw a "Closeout" section that was full of goodies such as a Wii nunchuck for $14.99. What a steal!

Guitar Hero WOR X360=$14/14.70 @ BB! If yours has the free Soundgarden CD, keep it! It's not part of the rest.:applause:

Sears is in light blue. Gotta add more to that list.

Went in Sears today while I was at the mall getting my glasses adjusted in Lenscrafters....hadn't been in there in at least 5 years.

They had a small section of video games all cleranced but no good price even when price checked. I think they are trying to do away with video games.

I think that was confirmed awhile back, only KMart is going to be selling games for them now.

Did they have 50 % off clearance signs up? I was just curious i went to a couple Sears that had some decent games, but werent having a sale.I can't figure out if that sale came and went or if some stores just werent doing it.

Im going to a sears in springfield mass soon. The last time i was there they had nothing but higher profile titles left at msrp. Im waiting for that 50% off games clearance to start, i just know Its going to happen at some point

I got some .47 games. Do I win cheapest Sears games 2012? Odd thing was they had actual white stickers with their titles printed and the .47 printed like they were actual, real drops.

Nothing super special. Band Hero (game only) for ps3/360, Sports Champions, and I passed on an opened Wii Trauma Center Second Opinion. But the two Band Hero for PS3 will flip for 8.00 a piece at BB, so I am happy.
I hit 2 stores today, one was almost empty with shovelware half off. The other had a nice stock, but most items were still 24.97
Apparently they want a tax write off more then they want a sale.

Found a handful of games marked $1 today.

Picked up:
:ds: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
:ps3: Bank Hero
2x :ps3: Fifa 2010 World Cup
:wii: DJ Hero 2
:ps3: Sports Champions

Found 1 of those 50% off Sears! :applause:

So much stuff, I can't remember it all!

(AFTER Discount)
Sly Collection - $10
Enslaved Odyssey To The West - PS3 $6.50
PS Move Heroes - $7.50

Also, no extra discount - PokePark Pikachu's Adventure $5.:)

Most of the games at mine are just gone...poof. So I'm not sure if I missed out on some crazy fire sale type situation (like some other people reported accidentally walking into) or what. Over half the main cases for the newer games are empty and the bin they have the clearance stuff usually in barely has anything.

I know a lot of the guys there are gamers though, so that doesn't bode well for me or other people hoping to catch some great deals. I also hate shopping there anyway because the electronics guys either do one of two things... They either ignore you and it's impossible to get their attention (with that I'll also group...they often spend a seemingly infinite amount of time helping other customers, leaving others just to hang) or they just stare you down like they're pissed off that you're even checking out the gaming deals.

My local Sears has the holiday Kinect bundle (sensor + game + 2 DL game cards) for $78. I want to but it just doesn't seem cheap enough....

So can we get a clearance list going?? I'm tired of looking at this thread all the time just to hear people bitch about how shitty their clearance section is instead of listing games they got on clearance.

This thread is as organized as the local sears
So can we get a clearance list going??
No. The only reason Sears has been a great place for clearance these past 3-4 years, aside from The Great SHC Depression, is because there has been no master list for lazy people to easily hoard from. It's near impossible to find clearance for organized threads like Target, especially in higher traffic cities/towns.

The real question is can we edit the OP to have big, bright red letters saying NO MASTER LIST so we don't get noobs wandering into this thread from GameFAQs or the local swap meet who are willing to buy everything up at 10% clearance instead of 75% or 90%.

Besides, it's not like other stores where the clearance is unmarked. Enough time has passed that every clearance game at your local Sears will have SOME kind of pink/yellow clearance sticker on it, regardless if the month is up-to-date or not. All you have to do is walk the games over to the price scanners in clothing or hardware to see the newest price.

LOL!

This time, the PokePark Pikachu's Adventure games were in the glass case and 'clearanced' down to $31.xx, per the sticker. Rang up $4.9x. Definitely, check all over.

Wasn't stickered $4 something, so I didn't press for the 'additional 50% off the sticker price' deal.

This part depends on the store. It's not allowed here and it will set off an alarm. The games and electronics are in a closed-off area and we have to get an employee to scan them. 'Tis beside the point, I know...just sayin'.

Wow, I thought they got rid of the closed-off areas in the late 90s. Then again, there are some CAGs here who say their K-Marts still sell N64 and GBA games, so I guess there are just some incredibly lazy stores with super lenient district managers out there.

:applause::applause::applause::applause:Exactly. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes to skim through the recent posts on this thread if you monitor it every day or two. But people don't wanna have to pay attention on here to get a deal, they want shit handed to them on a silver platter.

If you can't be bothered to keep up with a mega thread like this and wanna keep crying for a master list, then go right ahead as that is your right. But hopefully things will stay as is in this and any of the other "disorganized" mega threads.

My local store had 50% off clearance games, but only for the small amount of junk in the little dump bin. The only mildly interesting things were a PS3 Move starter bundle for around $50 and an open case (but game included) DS Golden Sun for $5. All the good stuff was under glass and not eligible.

N64s I haven't seen, but there are 4 Kmarts near my city and 3 of them still have sealed, though ripped, GBA games. Mostly crap though.

Tried to pick up some Pika Poke Parks today. They didn't ring up (weren't in the system) so they insisted that the correct price was the outdated $39.99 sticker from February on it. And now they won't drop any lower since they aren't in the system, as has been the case for other Sears clearance in the past like Kirby Super Star Ultra.

One part of me is sad that Sears will no longer carry games by this holiday season, the other part of me is relieved that I'll be able to just ignore going there like Target.

It looks like Sears isn't going to be paying for their products to be listed on Google Shopping. I've searched for items I know my local Sears has (not even clearance items), and I'm getting zero Sears hits on the listings. Only Best Buy, Radio Shack, and Toys R Us.

This is a terrible development. Even with google shopping it was hit-and-miss, now it's gonna be a complete crap shoot.

here is a question thats sears ralted and semi related to video games. What is the sears discount for display tvs, and whats the discount on returned items?

Just got back from Sears, and I got some fairly sweet deals.

Sports Champions - $8
Uncharted Drake's Fortune - $5
PS3 Wireless Keypad - $15.xx (this is the lowest I have EVER seen this thing anywhere)

Although these three might be a huge YMMV, because I drove to another nearby Sears just for curiosity's sake, and didn't find Sports Champions, but found Uncharted for $15 and the Wireless Keypad for (gasp) $40.

The keypad thing is $20 at Kmart for those who can't find one for the above mentioned price at Sears. The Playstation Eye(PS3's version of the Eyetoy camera) is $15-16 at Kmart also.

It's also $25 at Target. Not worth it right now, but after a drop its worth a look.

You can get a used sports champions for 3.99 at Gamestop, unless you are looking for a sealed copy for some reason.

Uncharted is a killer deal if you can find one, it was around $8 at my Sears, or 9.99 with 25% off, I had to buy a partially opened copy that turned out to have nothing wrong with it, but I am glad I did as its a VERY good game. You can get one new at Big Lots for $18-19 or something but around $8 is a much better price.

I just got rid of my copies of the first two Uncharted games that came from one of the Uncharted Dual Pack/Dual Shock 3 bundles and the pre-owned copy of the third that I got from using one of the BB @Gamer coupons to BB yesterday for under $50 total.

I figured no one would grab them here since 1 & 2 were GH packaging with the red cases with the GH marked discs as well.
