Since I'm sure everyone was holding their breath wondering what I was going to do next, I finished off all of the MP and the silly one-off campaign event trophies and left all the grindy/special contract ones. Considering I still need 8000 (!) more kills and 600000 more monies it would probably take me weeks of my limited gaming time to hit that platinum. At least if I decide in my senile old age that I should go back and finish it I won't have to worry about the death/skill of the online community.
As a side note, it's a little irritating to have a trophy that requires earning $1,000,000 when it's really only possible to spend a maximum of $250,000 to purchase everything in the game - the little money counter doesn't even appear to go past $99,999. What's the point of that? I'm sure pointless grindy trophies are a mainstay of the trophy hunting community, but this is the first one I've seen where you get absolutely zilch in return for the grind except the trophies - no new experiences, no new skills, no new multiplayer bling.

Damn, it's that much grinding? I'll probably skip that platinum too whenever I get around to buying the game.
If you play all the contracts on Vet, you should get 3x9x7k=¥189k + the ¥ you get from finishing these missions, so total you can have over ¥300k. I've finished the SP but not all contracts and in my profile card Ive earned over ¥600k in SP + ¥400k from MP. But the most pain is 10k kills, I still have 5,5k to go. I'll try replay the SP in easiest difficult to see how many kills/playthrough I can get.
I think the 10k kills does include both SP and MP. It would be pain in arse to reach that number if it was like in Resistance 2.
Btw I had platted Rayman Origins too. That secret lvl was hard, but its nothing to Vanquish Challenge 6.

Vanquish challenge 6 is my nemesis. I still go back to it every now and then to see if I get lucky. Pretty sure I could do the first three rounds one handed at this point, but I've never gotten a good strategy together after the romanov round. Can't even wrap my head around it - watching videos makes it look like it's pure twitch and I'm just not good at that. I need a gameplan - take out this first, move to here, watch for this, throw an emp, etc.

Does anyone here have Transformers Fall of Cybertron and would like to get the Escalation maps done for the four trophies? There are only four maps. Also the Headhunter trophy in multiplayer can be done real quick if we have four. I have never once seen a game of headhunter up so this one and escalation have to be boosted. 
Everyone only plays Team DM and Conquest.
Side note (OT): My Vita practically broke, it still powers on but now the display won't show. Whatever powers on the display must be broken. So I now have a nonfunctional Vita. I was just about to play my first match of Killzone Mercenary online too. What a bummer.

Does your Vita's blue light stay on but the screen is black? This happened to me and I just held the power button down for like 30 seconds and was able to restart the system that way. If this isn't your problem i hope you get it figured out soon.

I tried that and no luck. Im going to call Sony later today and see if I can send it in. Perhaps its still under warranty. And if not I wonder if they fix consoles at a good rate? I know Microsoft always fixed my consoles for free. I'd be happy just paying a decent price for them to fix it.
Anyways Ill see if I can gather a few others Bumslie. I think with you we would have three including myself. Almost there.
Sorry to hear about your Vita that really sucks.

I beat Kingdom Hearts just now, it was pretty awesome except for some annoying platform/camera issues. I plan on platinuming it but it'll have to wait until I run through some Plus games from my gettinmoney account. I think Hitman: Absolution is going to be my first platinum.

I have respect for anyone that plats a littlebigplanet game. Acing all the levels and picking up all the bubbles - that's some dedication. Got my 10 aces in a row on lbp vita last night (and nearly legit - had to ps button quit once), but I think I'll probably hit a wall on acing everything beyond the second world.

Anyone on CAG interested in doing any Killzone multiplayer in 2 or 3 whether its online or a horde mode if it has one? Havent exactly checked every trophy but I know a ton are online. I think you have to be in the top % for a certain time period. And others like playing 50 matches and getting the weekly honor rank. Not many people seem to be playing 2.
Also looking to start up FEAR 3 (need 2 or 3 people and its easy and not too long), Red Faction Armageddon (need 4 people also not very time consuming), and the Uncharted series since I think part 3 has online trophies and 2 has only a couple.

Well you may be right but it says you have to be in the top 1% of weekly players to get all four weekly honors. The others being top 10%, 6%, and 3%. If it is still possible then you probably have to be in the top like 5 people for weekly now that i dont see anyone playing. I hate not being able to complete games I want done because of online.
I want the entire Killzone series platted one day.

I honestly only had a ps3 mainly for blu rays at first. Got mine in like 2011. Didnt really start gaming on it until this past christmas almost a year ago. So I was late to the party period. Oh well Im still going to try as people still play and one guy reported getting it two weeks ago. Never say never. Ive done tons of hard games to completion. Now to just understand whats the best way to rank up and high on the leader boards. Killzone MP is kinda weird to me. Its like a mix of tons of different objectives. Its worth a shot. Of course I wont dedicate 1000s of hours to it in a week if thats what it takes.

It's actually a pretty easy trophy, just very time consuming for that week as it's pretty much purely based on hours played. I think I played 4-5 hours per day that week for at least the first 4-5 days. Then I think I was far enough ahead that I could cut back a bit.

If I ever pick up any of the latter games, I'd be down to help but hell no will I ever try to get the multiplayer trophies for Killzone 2. I'd totally give it a shot with you if I could make it work - I kinda like these asinine online trophies (since they're virtually impossible, especially ones that I know I'll suck at or I know I'll get sniped five steps after spawning). My ps3 hours are generally at ass o'clock in the morning though (around 4:30 - 5:30am) so I can't imagine that aligns with anyone else's schedule. If I see any of those games cheap at HPB or gamestop I might snag a couple and look you up - all I have is Uncharted 3 from PS+ and I have yet to touch Uncharted multiplayer so I'll probably try to get accustomed first.

Yea I like the series a little but LBV is the only one im playing. Im avoiding the rest as I am not that committed to them. They are ridiculous with the trophies. I'd rather play other games. Only really like the ability to play on the go on the VITA.

Haha, the Arcade sucks. I also just found out you need to watch a tutorial (#31) to get a sticker for a sticker switch in Jackpot City so that means you have to watch every tutorial before that to unlock it, ugh.
If you want, I'll play some versus levels with you if you're having trouble finding people. I won't let you win though.

Can't you just skip ahead to whatever # tutorial you want and then run all the way to the right to get the bubbles? Don't think you have to watch/do anything in this version. I just jumped in to them in random order and exited (didn't bother with the bubbles) to get the tutorial trophy.
And yes, the arcade does suck. I just completely finished my first one (the little rolly ball that keeps getting put in a cage) so I think I really do have a long ways to go before platinum town. I'll be happy if I finish the aces though - something I could never do in the original lbp because it made me want to strangle something (jetpack + navigating while holding explosives). There really is a lot of content packed in to this little game.
On the ps3 side I'm running through Assassin's Creed III which also seems to have tons of content. I've always really liked AC trophies because they make you do stuff that you'd likely never see if you just went through the normal story - like collapsing scaffolding on to a group of enemies or using a bayonet to run a guy through and then shooting the guy next to him at the same time. Maybe I'm just really easy to impress though.

I'm not cut out for trophy hunting. Got everything in lbp vita except the 24 hour create trophy, 25 versus matches and win a 4 player match (they should have an anti-trophy for all of those called 'anti-social'). Then I picked up madden 13 vita on Target clearance and wanted to see how many trophies I could get in a couple hours before I traded it in at best buy and managed to get over 50%. Still throwing passes in the parking lot at work before I went in.
If I held on one more night I probably could've gotten the platinum, but it was kind of a painful experience. Madden has gotten a lot more simple and simultaneously complicated since I last played it like 10 years ago. I don't think I knew what I was doing at all.
