I haven’t played this yet. On my backlog with most of the first party titles. Now that I finally have a PS5 Pro I’m working on it! Currently playing Stellar Blade though have a lot of upcoming travel the next month so limited game time soon.
 
It’s the all star / MVP program all over again. I remember doing it for FF online and the drive attachment for PS2. And many PSP games!

Also, please do try not to support twitter links anymore. Many will no longer click on the links. At least they’re previewed here to see.

No offense to the poster, but It’s starting to seem like his intent. Bringing up an issue or having a belief that many may understand the basis of, but then being way over reactionary or exaggerated in the discussion to cause derailment. 1. Non ESRB region games are fake, not just he doesn’t want them in his collection, they are fake. 2. Conspiracy theories about why he was unable to obtain a 30th anniversary pro, and anyone selling one, even their own single personal copy should legit go to jail. 3. Bringing up this Twitter stuff multiple times. That’s just off the top of my head, I’ve happened to notice in the past month, browsing 3-4 threads periodically.

The fact this forum has no moderation for some of the ridiculous crap that gets posted on here is why I don't even bother logging in or checking it much anymore. I found myself just being mean to people on here instead of sharing or helping and realized it was time to step away. Not worth getting worked up because some insane person online makes outrageous claims and then rush to counter them. Not going to change their mind and its just a waste.
 
When a person is set to ignore here, are both sides' posts hidden from each other, similar to Facebook? Or is it just for the person doing the ignoring?

During the first three quarters of its current fiscal year (the nine months ended on December 31, 2024), Sega said it sold nearly 20 million new games, which includes at least 2 million sales of Sonic X Shadow Generations, and 1 million sales of Metaphor: ReFantazio.

It also sold nearly 12 million units of legacy titles. “In addition to Persona 5 Royal and Unicorn Overlord, past titles in the Sonic series have also contributed to repeat sales,” it said.

I got the invite. I signed up just because it sounds like the game betas are opt-in, and the firmware betas are invite, so actually DOING anything requires additional effort. Means i can be picky.
 
The third time I got the invite...no real incentive to be a guinea pig for Sony so I do not bother. Also if a "new" improvement is good they will pass it down the line eventually.

Also (might be irrational), I do not want some beta progam to brick my 5...like I said, might be irrational

It's not irrational at all when these companies have had updates that broke system. I'm still mad my launch switch got bricked by Nintendo.

What happened? And was it fixable or did Nintendo send you a new one?

I work in tech. For any device… computer, console, galaxy, iPhone… I disable ALL auto updates. Manual update everything. there isn’t an if but when an update will break your device.

I somewhat like the look. I do not like white joysticks. No matter how clean you are, your hand oils will stain the joysticks over time.
 
More AC Shadows info. Two things that are irking me…

Yasuke looks ridiculous crouching on a rooftop. Naoe is naturally going to be stealth, sneaking around. A large samurai in full armor isn’t going to be balance on a rooftop edge. Secondly, the PS5 Pro settings should NOT have three graphic modes. The entire point of the Pro console was NOT having to choose between graphics and performance. And now here we are only a few months after console release and AC shadows has SIX graphics mode. This is nuts.

Agreed. I always wonder will it sell out instantly like the Hogwarts dualsense, which I was lucky to get. Or be like Helldivers and sit for months unwanted.

I do have two preorders of it though I won’t play it until Black Friday season. My rule is not touch any new game, specially ubisoft, for six months.

Unfortunately I’d agree with you. Tsushima was great. Though halfway through I did get burned out a bit since there are only 3 types of homes and things become monotonous and cookie cutter.

Yea no, a few options aren't a bad thing lol, the way I've seen a few Pro owners here and there gripe about this has been baffling. If you want essentially what Cerny was referring to, just pick the Performance mode and be done with it. The other options are neat for focus that enjoy the game looking even better, or for those that own a 120hz TV.

I'm pretty sure only 3 modes will actually show up if you're on the Pro.
 
Ubisoft games have been so ho hum lately I would likely never pre-order their games or buy around release. I don't have high hopes for AC Shadows and I love Samurai games. The controller is okay, but white sticks and a game I'm not crazy about (still a good game) are a pass for me.

I winged it and it looks brand new. I will have to test it tonight. The box is damaged with scrapes and such.

The outer box seals were still intact but the inner box seal was broken. Everything was still wrapped up. Everything looks unused.

I ordered a like new one for $10 more. My box is undamaged and just has normal shelf wear, i.e, frayed corners. Mine was also sealed like you described: sealed outer box, opened inner box. Was your game code unused? Mine is unscratched. If the hardware checks out, we made out like bandits since Warehouse increased the price by $30.

I thought about buying it several times but thought it was expensive and that it wouldn't get used very much. I had to bite at that price and figured if it came in awful shape I would just send it back

Game code was unscratched and I just redeemed it. I am charging the controllers currently and will test it out when I get home. A little over half price and basically brand new. You can't beat that.

It should have came with a usb-c to usb-c connector. I had to find another one to charge both controllers.

Even though it should, from a consumer point of view, it doesn’t. I was irritated by that when I got my launch unit. The consensus at the time was that Sony expects us to use the one that came with the console as the second. I bought a charging stand and never looked back

I guess they decided that they had to do something with all those offsetting parts from the OG controllers, since this is the opposite (OG white top/sides, black bottom; this black top/sides, white bottom).

In any case, I'm a fan of the games but controller is pretty ugly/lazy.
