Flashbacks to that time someone on Twitter posted photos of Kojima's farewell party from Konami, and then Konami put out a statement saying he was just on vacation and denied knowing anything about the party.. lol

Yes! I finally get to play Ragnarok! I own God of war but I just knew the sequel would come to PlayStation Premium if I was patient. Playing it the day it is on the service for sure!

Ha, Sony really doing a “we’ve got Indiana Jones at home” adding Staff of Kings. I’ve got both PS2 and Wii versions sitting unopened on my shelf, so I think I’ll take this opportunity to finally play it.

Played a bunch of those on GamePass, including Like a Dragon, Atlas Fallen, Citizen Sleeper (sequel will be on GP this month). And have had God of War since launch so not a lot for me in there.

But interested in checking out the Indy game and Medievel 2 at least.

Blood Omen 2 and Blood Omen are on sale so I will probably pick those up since I do not have PS Premium

Also looking at Crypt Custodian which I have heard good things about.

Sweet! Didn’t know Blood Omen was on there. Got it for free for having the ps3/vita version.

That is a PS2, the greatest console of all
can't argue with that.

PS2 era was the most satisfying. It felt like probably the biggest technical leap forward, and natural evolution, from everything that was happening prior. It was simple OS, and straight forward game deployment. and before all the rampant patch downloading.

It was also the first time you could connect online and play other people through multiplayer matchmaking for certain games.

On the strength of what it could play out of the box, pretty damn close—much as I dislike the 7th generation, I’ll begrudgingly give it to the first PS3 SKU for being near fully backwards compatible with both PS2 and PS1. On the strength of its own library, it did trail behind the PS1, but by less than you’d expect.

Every console pales in comparison to the 2600.

GameLine was a dialup game distribution service for the Atari 2600,[1] developed and operated by Control Video Corporation (CVC, now AOL).[2] Subscribers could install the proprietary modem and storage cartridge in their home game console, accessing the GameLine service to download games over a telephone line. GameLine had an exclusive selection of games, and its pioneering business model eventually gave rise to America Online. Despite being ahead of its time, it wasn't very popular, possibly due to its price of $60 for the hardware, $15 for the membership fee, and $1 per game, which you could only keep for a week.

Yes, though PS2 was the greatest console of all time.

I thought OG Xbox was better than PS2 at that time, primarily because I played a LOT of online games, and then the 360 over the PS3. But that is where MS ended with their victory lol. I owned a PS2 and loved the console. Looking back though I can see why everyone preferred PS2 that generation. Lot of fucking gems.

wow that's an impressive amount of rhee. great job, guys.

I thought it was pretty obvious I (we?) were talking about Playstations. but have fun.
