And what about the discussions that dont pertain to people like me, when they had their topic of playing video games with the family. My family doesn't play video games.
And since no one decided to acknowledge my question I'll go ahead and answer it.
It DOESN'T say you HAVE To stay on the topics that are posted and post relevent discussions, so get off your high horse and out of your ivory tower, get your points and stop whining.
Yeah I want this program to continue too, but I'm not going to post more than a sentence if I don't have to either. Hell I sometimes don't post relevant things to the topics either.
dykenom says he wants them to crack down on the spam because it "annoys him".

Ivory tower? Yes, it annoys me to see rampant "BS" spam of stupid comments like what was previously mentioned. "Mmm cake" really? HP rejected several people, many of whom who have posted in both HP threads, for this program who would have at least put forth some sort of effort in keeping with the program's theme. Do not get me wrong, I have absolutely no problem with one line posts as long as they are in line with the SPIRIT OF THE PROGRAM.
As a side note, there are a lot of people violating that particular one for their pictures. That being said, you're listing things that are prohibited across all of house party. As for where it "says" it must be on topic? I don't have any of the agreements or registration pages, but some things need not be explicit when people possess a thing called common sense. A period for a topic and the sentence "I liek tortlez" is just not acceptable (and yes, I've seen that post too), no matter how dense or difficult you want to be. Just because Sony will run a different promotion, doesn't mean idiots should intentionally kill off a relatively successful program because they 'can.'

It's not like there's anything better to talk about. Their topic ideas are lame (Which PS3 hero would look prettiest in a red dress?) and every time you reload the page, all of the discussions have been pushed back several pages. They really need some kind of forum system. As is, the discussions there are just empty, shallow, and a little worthless.
Whether or not you feel the topics are "lame" and the program is "not worth your time" (as you have clearly stated on numerous occasions)... is a personal opinion. The discussions being empty or shallow is something that definitely needs to be addressed if the intention (which is what I gather) is to form a community. . The discussion quality could be infinitely improved if HP would make a few small changes: 1) Switch to message board format, 2) implement a community moderators (who can either be on a volunteer or psn card reward basis) 3) Make the the tasks all encompassing (the family theme, while admirable, alienated quite a few i think).... to name a few. The forum system was suggested at the end of last year, but they didn't pick up on it for some reason. It would make it so much easier for them to post a topic and see the replies than to sift through 6000 party talk posts to ensure there is no spamming. With the current system, the person could *probably* spam a message "free game kthx" three times a week and walk away with a top tier reward.
