PriceGrabber $5 Rebate Topic w/ Lists Of Eligible Games (Updated 3/2)

A couple of my Jan, Feb and Mar submissions are still not done yet. The Mar & Feb submissions aren't the issue, it's the Jan ones that are three months from receipt and not done yet. :whistle2:s
 
Is anyone getting an email from Pricegrabber indicating receipt of the mailed rebates? I sent my March set on the very last day of the month with delivery confirmation. USPS's website shows the completed rebates as arriving on the 5th of April. I wonder if Pricegrabber is just inordinately slow with processing these days?

I tend to ignore the emails and just go with the web rebate search. The emails come at a completely different (and usually much later) time than the online deal updates. They usually come so late that I have no idea if they are talking about last month's or the month before at that point :lol:.

I mean, I sent mine around when you did (probably a few days earlier) and they have just shown up on the web site with a rec'd date of Apr. 5th. But I still don't have any emails acknowledging them. However, that is much faster than last month where they didn't update the database until the end of the month (took 2 more weeks to process than this month). So I don't think they are being inordinately slow right now - seems actually a bit faster than normal!

On a completely different note - I'm seeing that some games with 10 reviews still have forms available! This is new!

Don't expect them on the site for a week or two, probably with an early April receipt date.

This rebate service is awesome... just recently discovered it and am getting back 20$ soon hopefully.

VP2: Silmeria for PS2 is no longer offered.
 
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering if you are able to download multiple forms and send them out using a different email and address? My gf wants to do this, but I requested multiple forms through my account already. Can she just use the forms that I requested, but write the review from her account and ship to her address?

If you look at the bonus number on the form, it's two numbers separated by a hyphen. One part of the number is your ID # on the PG site, and the other part is the bonus number for the rebate. Together, they make a unique rebate number in their system that's linked to you. If you look at multiple forms, you'll see which one is the bonus # and which one is the rebate #.

If your GF sets up an account on her own and downloads the rebate forms, as well as does the reviews in her account, then it would work. Assuming she's at a different physical address as you, of course, though as you mention "her address" above, she should be. Two people, same address, doubt it would work for either account.

Oops, sorry, I didn't read this thread till now. I can't remember all of them. I know one was Xeno III - but I'm looking now and it is at 12 reviews with no form available. But I'm pretty sure I saw it at 10 with a form available. Maybe they are pulled manually after 10 and they just hadn't gotten to it yet.

I can't remember what the others were, sorry :cry:.
 
I suppose this would be no surprise to you PG vets but it turns out that they processed my April submittal (rec'd by PG on 4/17) and the check was mailed yesterday. My March submittal (rec'd by PG on 3/19) is still in "required service period". Should I contact them or wait a bit longer?
 
Just bought GH2 360 for a bud tonight since i found it while out and its a bitch to find apparently.
Saw that theres a bonus for it, so ill have to borrow the case for the UPC scan (or just find it online....)
 
Do they pay attention the reciepts if it says USED all over it?

I just participated in that lovely buy 2 get one 1 free sale over at EB Games/Gamestop. I have all the original items for all the games so I still have the original UPC. But will they care if it's used?

Super Paper Mario has been there for a while (since a day or two after it came out I think). I'm surprised it is still available. The others have been there for at least a week too ;).

Also, Pokemon Diamond had 14 reviews yesterday and yet was still available - better grab that one while you can!

It's weird, when I click the link in the OP for Pokemon Diamond, it doesn't show the $5 bonus being available (plus there are only 11 reviews). But if I search on Pokemon and get a list of games, there's Pokemon Diamond with the $5 binus link on the list page. I'd say this bonus is in the process of being removed.

So I ordered them in that way and (other than the brand new ones like SPM), picked them in that order.

This month was SPM, Far Cry Vengeance (Paper Mario trade-in, definitely didn't buy it for my collection :D), Fire Emblem: PoR, Chibi-Robo, and Odama. Everything else on my list has under 5 reviews.

Looks like Mega Man X Collection (GC) is no longer available for rebates, missed out on that one.

I may be able to pick up some extra forms since I likely jumped the gun on a few forms that are expiring this month - Rayman (lost my receipt along with every other launch Wii game, but no preorder to salvage this one unless I want to go buy it again and return it), WarioWare, Hotel Dusk, Kirby Squeak Squad (all too expensive yet).

Yeah, I need to start looking at some of my older stuff to get rebates, such as Odama (lord knows where that receipt is), FE: PoR, Chibi-Robo and some others.
 
I remember the 1st time I sent this within postmarke date and everything including UPC codes, receipts and making reviews for the games too but, they only sent me a $5 in rebate anyone else get this?

Check the website to see why the forms were rejected. Then e-mail the CS rep and let em know you did whatever they said you didn't and they might have you fax/resubmit your forms (hopefully you have copies).
 
The good news: my late April submissions are up now.

The bad news: only 4 of the 5 (that I sent in one envelope) are there. And of course the one missing would be the ONE game I no longer have (and thus can't copy the UPC again).

So now I need to wait until they decide to send out the acknowledgement emails to see if it is a mispelled name or a screwed up address or just missing entirely. Last time it was just the name and that was fine (didn't have to resubmit!).

Cool, My Aprils showed up too.

I actually sent in 4 rebates with my ID and work address, and 1 with another account I made and my home address - all in one envelope and they all showed up. I have a secondary account for when I request a rebate and it expires before I buy the game and the rebate is still available when I eventually do =]
 
My submissions always take forever to show up. But I got my checks from March, while my February rebates are still processing. Excellent.

Same here... I wouldn't worry about that... yet!

Shrike - yeah, I'll try to track down a UPC once I verify that it is lost. It is more likely they just mispelled my name, as that is usually what happens. If I ask them anything at this point they will just send their canned response of waiting 8-10 weeks (despite the fact that 4 of the 5 in the same envelope showed up). It has only been a few weeks. If I only get 4 emails then I'll know it is lost. Hopefully the "receipt" emails come within the next 2 weeks ;).
 
looks like some new rebates were added - I noticed several new PC games - C&C3 kane, Supreme Commander, Company of Heroes Collectors, Stalker and that's just on the first page. Saw some new DS games listed with rebates. If you were waiting for a rebate you might want to check to see if it has one now.
 
Wow, they may have screwed up again and put rebates up for every game. Tiger Woods 08 for Wii has a rebate even. And the Simpsons game. And Transformers.

Yeah, almost anything that doesn't have a rebate in the Wii section had one and has either hit the 10 review limit or the 50 request limit. So expect a lot of these to disappear soon.

Too bad I'm still backlogged with about 8 months worth of rebates on games I already have.

I'm confused - how do you know they hit the 50 request limit if they haven't been pulled yet?? Also it looks to me like pretty much all the new ones have had 0 reviews. :whistle2:s Edit - OH, you are saying the ones that DON'T currently have reviews got used up - gotcha... I disagree that many of the new ones will disappear soon though. Most of the ones that are gone were for launch titles or hot releases (Wii Play, SPM). I think some of the others will stick around for a while.

But I'm with you on the backlog - I wish they'd hold off on some of these. The good news is there's SO MANY rebates up that many of them will still be around in several months.
 
They still have never had a rebate bonus for Animal Crossing Wild World for DS. The way they are revisiting old ones it wouldn't surprise me to see it spring up at some random time.

By the way, Mega Man ZX for DS is sitting at 10 reviews right now and the bonus form is still available - grab it while you can!

And by disappear, I mean they take them down, not that they get used up.

Given that I haven't found any worthwhile deal on Hotel Dusk, the new Kirby, WarioWare, and Lunar Knights, I'm going to have to abandon those forms - time to download three more to fill the void.

Well, yeah, unreleased stuff. I just hope they put Mario Party 8 back up. I saved a spot for that. But stuff like Bust-A-Move Bash and Ice Age 2 will probably stick around (and I actually got Ice Age 2 for the kids so I want that rebate, but not until 3-4 months from now ;)).

I've got 3 months of rebates sitting in process. (Feb, Mar, and April). And of course only 4 of 5 for April showed up. As io said, I'll wait to see the confirmation e-mails to see if they just misspelled or something like that.

I got my emails a few days ago. My name was mispelled, but zip is OK, so I'll just leave it. Hopefully my bank won't mind :lol:. They got 4 perfect, then completely hosed up the 5th - all were in the same envelope :roll:.

is it ok to use the UPC database site to use to submit a copy of the UPC? i dont have some of my games anymore and i can't find pics of the back cover to get the upc
