AC3 MP was not that bad actually. I am not even sure if I bothered boosting it. There was a lot of insane single player grinds in that one though. Most of the other ones have been a complete PITA when it comes to MP though, you are right.

AC3 mp was easy, but required 3-6 hours to boost.

When compared to Brotherhood where I spent what seems like 2-3x that amount of time doing stun lock boosting as a part of a 6 man group, that means it was really really easy.

ETA: And that doesnt factor in for AEOTM either which was insane. I can not stand trophies where there are no stats for you to look at to see what you are missing.

Oh, that one was tragic for me. I had everything except one thing: Poison someone and let other kill it. Ubisoft, do you know how much bs is that? How random or lucky it must be? I did it on a match where on a whim, I said to my friend "kill the guy I poisoned, maybe that is it!" and with one second left, he did it. One of the most satisfying platinums for me.

If you want some more upbeat Floyd, try some older stuff like "Free Four" or "See Emily Play" or "The Nile Song" or "Arnold Layne" or "One Of These Days" or "Take Up Thy Stethoscope And Walk". At The Drive-in has a great cover of the latter also if you're so inclined.

I've listened to most Floyd as my own brother tells me how great they are and I've tried to hear what people like about them. I don't think it's all bad I guess it's just a case of not for me.

Carvel ice cream cakes are the best because they have no cake. Cake is overrated. Especially that horrible store icing people put on them. If you are a good chef and make homemade whipped icing, that's different. Sure. I doubt any of you are chefs, though. At least not good ones!

I'd say it was close. Presentation was better in Liberation. Bloodlines was also pretty short. Then again Liberation did have some stuff that wasn't needed like the annoying costume changes. Gameplay was also better more fully featured in Liberation with tree running and what not. Bloodlines was a bit janky but definitely enjoyable.

So this weekend, while going for the Bulletstorm online trophies, Gamespy took the servers down 9 days early.  They have been down since Saturday afternoon and there is no word on when / if they will come back.  Super duper frustrating.  Its shame because Bulletstorm is actually pretty fun - and that's coming from a mostly rpg / action rpg gamer.

I think I may have bought it at some point on the cheap but probably ending up selling it off. I'm mainly digital these days so if it pops up on the store cool if not no harm done. Maybe it will if it's only going to be single player going forward.

Just saw the Boston Symphony Orchestra play this at the MIT reunion a few weeks ago. The conductor turned to the audience and led us through a sing along while the full orchestra played along. It was an amazing experience.

What does that mean? I don't understand the concept of a band selling out. I wasn't a big fan of their last album but every other one I enjoyed immensely.

Deleted a longer response. A band selling out means they changed their music and/or message (and possibly replaced members) to become radio friendly in exchange for a major label record contract and $$$. This generally pisses off their existing fanbase, since the only reason the major label noticed them in the first place was that fanbase. The term is especially applicable in genres that have political/class roots (ie, punk, hardcore, etc) that inherently clash with the concept of a million dollar contract.
