Challenges room are fun, though the character pack don't offer much content if you've already beat the game. I could see the various costume special abilities as having been useful in certain areas of the game. Though like the challenge room DLC, the costume pack has trophies to earn.

The PS4 DLC for the Super Turbo Championship Edition (costume packs to play as a few of the bosses and an NPC) is also on sale. It also has trophies.

Thanks, I mainly bought them for the trophies. I also apparently bought the PS4 DLC for $1.79 in May 2015, the same day the game went "free" for PS+.

I would assume no because the Super Turbo Championship Edition is the only version on PS4 since it was ported there later on.

Companies generally do this exclusive bullshit because Gamestop is the one footing the bill. I'm not a fan of Gamestop's store practices, but honestly the company itself seems to be at least partially responsible for some pretty cool, niche things—like Xenoblade finally coming to the US, for example.

Is it all an attempt to get people to put up with their shitty service? Probably. But they're helping make neat things happen, so it's hard for me to hate them.

Spent about 4 hours with Nier tonight.  First hour is basically the demo, then I spent roughly 2 hours wandering around the starting area and catching robot fish.  10/10 A++ Would listen to soundtrack and robot fish again!!1!

Your mind will quickly recombine itself after you play it. Most of the characters that anyone would want to use have to be unlocked including Johnny Bravo. And the game is extremely tedious, even for a dollar. Why developers think that's the best way to structure gameplay is beyond me.

Glad to see Boost Mode will be included. I heard there were a few games that were glitch with it. Hopefully those are the rare exception rather than the rule.
