This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

I beg to differ. This is the greatest video game soundtrack ever. By a long shot.

When the hell are they going to get around to remaking this game?
I actually have this on CD somewhere. Pretty good soundtrack.

It was advertised as coming with preorders, but Deathstroke is actually available with all copies of the base game on Steam.
No shit?

Huh, I did not know that... I guess I get it next sale (if it hits it's normal sale price) and I've been waiting for that complete edition for nothing. :)

Newegg Flash as the following for $119.99, 90 Day Warranty.:

Refurbished: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 DirectX 11.1 11197-97-90G 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 CrossFireX Support Video Card

I don't remember this. What was it about?
Lazy, copy paste response (the usual, clueless people upset about things they clearly have zero understanding of)

Shortly before the game's release, some activists dumb dipshits with zero life experience considered calling for a boycott of Shadow Complex due to Orson Scott Card's views on homosexuality. The game itself does not contain any references to homosexuality. Card did not work on the game itself, but licensed the rights from Chair to create novels based on the developer's Empire intellectual property. The game itself was written by well-known comics author Peter David.

I remember all of the morons getting upset about Card and boycotting all of his works that have nothing to do with homosexuality, too. When the Ender's Game movie came out, all the pretentious assholes were rusting their jimmies at the very notion of Formicans.

Not that you care about my opinion:

I have and listen to a TON of game soundtracks.  I think the oldest official game soundtrack I have is WC2. (Warcraft... just in case that wasn't mentioned)

I personally LOVE the piano FF soundtracks (I believe I have through X-2 but I would need to doublecheck that and I just don't care that much).  But not the actual game songs.  (I know, I know... I just didn't care for FF.  I was a DQ/DW kid)  I also have all 3 Distant Worlds.

Currently on my playlist are a bunch of Etrian (both O and MD's), WC3, Diablo 3, SC2, and a ridiculous amount of Hatsune Miku.  But they're in a rotation that has a bunch of other soundtracks mixed in :)

Edit:  Oh, Oh, Oh I almost forgot the Command and Conquer got some serious playtime previously.  Also LOTRO soundtrack.  Almost forgot about them.

I...sometimes listen to video game music, too, and have the full #game-mp3s collection on a hard drive. But I have about 2TB of music reencoded to V0/V1/V2 lossy mp3 format.

AND I have a gf that I live with.

You're all weirdos.

There's been a scant few songs that I've enjoyed from games which are all actual songs with vocals as opposed to instrumental pieces.  A track or two from Transistor or Contrast.  Aside from that, video game music is largely forgettable to me.  I'm sure it enhances my mood in the moment but it's nothing I want in my car.

This isn't counting in-game radio stations of songs that have no actual connection to the game.

I never listen to video game music, even while playing. Instead I play real music, like Nickelback or Five Finger Death Punch, over it.

When did I follow "Video Game Music+ Discussion Mega Thread (All Video Game Music Discussion)"?

I don't really care about the discussion, sometimes I just post things that I think people will chortle at and they'll like the post...

For all the video game music he owns, Blade will only play anal sex anthems if he's ever on Discord with you.  Now granted, thanks to Discord's top of the line audio, the music comes in crystal clear, but it doesn't make it any better.

I think I should add this one bit of music from Sleeping Dogs that caught me completely off guard when it came up. It plays when you're near the end of the game. No spoilers.

[customspoiler=Big Winter Sale Launch]
What are Mystery Games?
Every Mystery Game costs $3 (or your local equivalent) and includes a random game from a special, mystery batch. Your Mystery Game can be worth anywhere from $9.99 to $34.99 (or your local equivalent), so we promise you'll get a deal every time.

We're prioritising games that you don't have yet, so it's less likely that you will get a game you own already - if that happens, we'll convert your spare copies to a gift.

The Mystery Games are not part of the regular sale lineup.

How can I earn free games?
You'll earn free games while making purchases during the Big Winter Sale. You'll receive your free game once you've spent $5 and $50 in total while the sale lasts.
Spend $5 or more to receive: Divine Divinity
Spend $50 or more to receive: Blackguards Special Edition
Every purchase on GOG.com counts towards your total, so you don't need to buy everything in a single order or on sale. The front page displays a counter informing you how much you need to spend until your next reward.
You can change your preferred currency at any time during the sale, but please keep in mind that reward progress is tracked separately for every currency and cannot be transferred. For example, if you start shopping in USD and switch to EUR, you will start from zero - however, you can always go back to USD and pick up where you left off.

What are Daily Deals & Bundles?
These are limited-time 24h offers on single or bundled games. All daily deals and bundles change every 24 hours, but they may come back later.
NOTE: The first batch of deals and bundles will stay for 48 hours, until December 4, 1:59 PM GMT.
In bundles, you'll get the highest discount by purchasing the entire bundle (or all the games you don't yet have from that bundle). You can also purchase single games in a bundle at a smaller discount.
Some bundles are Build Your Own Bundles - here, your discount will increase with every additional game you buy - select 5 or more for the maximum discount. Games you already own also count towards your discount.[/customspoiler]

Well if you're all going to start in on this, I hope you're prepared for the consequences.

SEVERAL JAPANESE VIDEO GAME COMPOSERS ARE THE BEST LIVING COMPOSERS ON THE PLANET.

That's it. End of discussion. My opinion trumps all of yours. You have terrible taste. Yes, you. Even if you agree with me.

Played them, beat them. They all sucked.

In the name of open-mindedness, I listened to (ok, skipped around through) that Chrono Cross music video thingie.

It sounded like those terrible "Light Moods" ambient meditation albums they used to sell on daytime TV in the 80s and 90s.  But, hey, if that's what you're into then rock on (well, soft-rock on) with yourself.

I can't argue that one bit. Nobuo Uematsu is the MAN. Shoutout to Koji Kondo as well. Between those two, you have most of the major video game music impacts of my childhood.
