I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Given how some of these newer games are w/ wanting 3GB or 4GB for recommended - also not impressed at 960 coming in a 2GB flavor.

Might as well spent the $ and go for 4GB w/ the 970.

I'll keep watching the market + the prices.

 
That's what I did and procrastinated a lot.  You just gotta buy one, duder.  Apart from Black Friday, I never saw any amazing deals on GPUs.

No, not 75% off on this one. I own this from retail already. Don't really need it on Steam.

Not yet, anyways - since it don't have enough Steam support.

Plus, this game doesn't have currently Steam Achievements.

Maybe humble with get it and you can get a steam key and drm free. Best of both worlds ;)

If you're worried about VRAM I'd wait on buying a 970 until we find out why it it can't use more than 3.5 GB in most games.

if you're gonna keep tossing-out those awesome MysterD catch-phrases, then I do hope you have them all stored in a MS Word file, Notepad, or some sort of Word Processing program + document - and you can pin that exact file to the taskbar.

That way - you can use it as a clipboard, so you can copy + paste them every time.

I remember playing Z way back on my 486... (or was it my 486 with the 60Hz Pentium upgrade) I can't believe they're still selling that game 20+ years later.

It's not like anyone is going to play it. Or buy it outside a bundle. Ad for that well itsa mea Indie Gala.

I mean, these are the people who bundled Bad Rats and an indie game that requires oculus rift.

Some people are thinking it might be the hardware, either the way the 970 was cut down, or the Hynix memory. The Samsung memory is supposed to be much better. Nvidia is said to be looking into it.

That puppy was parked next to our carrier back in the day. It was teeny. I'd rather the carrier :) A carrier says F U... I think the new frigate with the EM railguns could be fun though.

Besides.. it was sold for 2.5 million under the specific guidelines that it be scrapped (and it was like 3-4 years ago)

I'd still rather have the Sea Shadow than an aircraft carrier though

Do you know for sure if it is only an issue with the 970s that have the Hynix Vram? I saw that mentioned early on in some threads but I don't have time to read everything.

Well I know this doesn't fit with your whole THESKYISFALLING thing, but the key point here is he listed a really cheap item for 100 gyros. As in there were other people selling it for 3 pence or whatever the hell Europeans use for pennies.

If it's an item that no one is selling cheaper then it can be looked at as a collector's item and legitimate. The dude that got banned admitted other people were selling it for 3 cents. I think there's an implication there of some laundering or some other shenanigans going on because obviously no one would buy it when there were much cheaper options. But when it's literally the only listing it's plausible that someone could be insane enough to buy it.

Just reading his story, I was pretty sure that guy was lying. Then I looked through his post history and it is mostly just him trying to cheat in different games and on his math homework:
