The lady at the GameStop near me thanked me for buying the D3ROSCE and getting it out of her store. Thought that was kinda weird.

Oh, and I bought D3ROSCE because {insert random conglomeration of verbs, nouns and adverbs}.
Maybe she was a hyper-christian and thought that it was oozing evil and corrupting her?

A collection of trash:

Into the Dark: Ultimate Trash Edition

GQKV3-406BJ-KCVXQ

Soul Gambler: Dark Arts Edition

HAL96-7GAVR-IX3GX

Volt

TRCRM-WD7VB-8MIYK
Does Dark Arts edition mean that they fixed it not running under Windows 8?

Also, does anyone have a spare Soul Gambler he or she would care to donate to me for testing purposes? :D/

I tried activating the Dark Arts Edition, and it said I already own Soul Gambler. You can have my key if you don't own Soul Gambler, otherwise it's apparently the same game.

You guys all think you're being oh so funny with your first shoes stories, and that Bruticis is bashing away at whatever mechanical keyboard is popular this week in a fit of forum rage.

Joke's on you. He's CAG's very own Imelda Marcos.

I admit it, I laughed out loud reading this.

Weekly, Midweek and Weekend Deals

Up to 83% off Might & Magic games and DLC
Are any of the Might & Magic games more puzzle-like as in M&M Clash of Heroes. I really liked that one.

Damn man why did you have to go spoil the plot for HuniePop2 before it even comes out.
You know the "(rest of post redacted)" happens in HuniePop one. She's not Thai though....

A few weeks ago, my wife had a cold, and when she is under the weather, she likes soup. Specifically, spicy Thai soup. So I go in to our local place and order two soups; one for me and one for the wife. I tell the lady we want the wife's soup to be spicy. She asks me how spicy on a one to five scale, and I say four.

She looks at me like I'm from another planet. "You don't want four."

So I tell her we really like spicy food.

"You don't want four."

"Well how about three?"

"You don't want three."

"Look, my wife wants the soup spicy. So how about you make mine two and make the one for my wife a three."

"OK...."

So I get the soup home and my wife tries hers. She takes one spoonful and she starts gagging. "I can't eat this. Will you trade with me?"

Mine (two) was pretty darn spicy, but very tasty. Borderline too hot, but to my mind, just right for my taste when I want spicy. "Sure, we can trade."

She gives me the three soup and I gag on the first spoonful as well. I keep trying and eventually I get about one third of the soup in me before I have to stop.

I don't even want to think about the internal bleeding that the four would cause, much less the five.

There may not have been a point to this, but damn that soup was really spicy. They ain't playing around at that Thai place.
Next time ask for some pureed ghost peppers. :)

Hahahahaha. Damn.

Coincidentally the sneakers that I bought a month and a half ago are already worn down a lot. I walk quite a bit every day and these were supposed to be walking shoes, but they couldn't deal with the terrain. Guess you really do get less at Payless. :p

Thanks for the info. I was this close to either Fakeybroing Cities Skylines or half Fakeybroing ARMA III, but I will hold off squandering my Steam wallet one more month with the hopes KF2 is finally given to us like the sweet nectar of eternal life handed down from the Heavens to the Kardasians.
Someone gifted me that cheapo go cart racer dlc and then I felt compelled to half fakeybro the Arma III base even though I will never play it. I have problems.

Here's hoping everyone posts the first pair of shoes they owned.
Buster Browns. And my mom bronzed them.

I don't know why everybody's talking about the first shoes they wore. I thought the idea was to talk about the first ones we owned, and the first shoes I wore were owned by my parents.

The first shoes I owned were a pair of navy blue Timberland sandals that covered so much of the foot that they were almost more like walking shoes.

I don't know what you guys are doing to wear your shoes out like that.  Mine hold up for years.  Now my chairs on the other hand wear out so easily.

I don't recall what the first pair I bought or I wore as a baby.  I remember having some XJ-900 from Payless though.  I think they were only a $1 or if not that cheap, we missed out on the $1 and these were $5.

I learned that lesson in high school. My parents used to buy me Payless shoes, about $20 a pair. They were fine, until I started playing tennis. No exaggeration whatsoever, I wore down 3 pairs of Payless shoes in 3 months -- the entire sole was completely flat. So $60 down the drain in 3 months. Wondered why none of my peers had that problem with normal shoes. Bought a pair of Nikes for like $50. Lasted about a year that time. I never cheap out any more on durable goods. Paid for a Le Creuset skillet, and I know it'll last longer than me.

Edit: Because I've been exercising that much less in my adult life, my last pair of Nikes actually lasted me 5 years of daily use.

Ahem

Anyway I thought the art book was decent. Mousepad is ok to if you like mousepads.

I think my favorite thing was the digital undead dog though.

Man, I hated that show. It's funny because I love abstract shows now, like Adventure Time, but I just did NOT click with Courage when I was younger.

I had some sweet KangaROOS when I was a kid. The shoes with a tiny useless pocket so you can fight for five minutes to fish out the dime you put in there.

Apparently they still make them.  Just because it's not 1982 any longer doesn't mean you can't still waste your money on retarded shoes.

die hard souls fan chiming in: bloodborne's performance issues remind me of why I went primarily PC many moons ago. I can't believe a stuttery 30ish fps and 45 second load times are acceptable in 2015...(returns to dark souls 1 @60fps, thanks durante)

I live right on a border city. The way it is usually done is just filled with whatever you want such as chile verde or something like that. Usually rice is not in it. Refried beans are common too mainly mixed with some other ingredients such as a chile relleno. It's all good. Also crunchy tacos are common but yes they are usually pan fried using corn tortillas and yes they are awesome. The other ones shown are what's commonly referred to as street tacos since if you go over the border you can get them from a taco cart or stand, which is very good. It's all fun and yes I do eat Taco Bell too, though it's not an everyday thing.
My understanding, from mostly casual searching, Sonoran style (which is big here) does not include rice in burritos, If I recall traditional Sonoran is meat, pico, and sauce, though a lot of places here either add cheese or they do meat, guacamole and pico with sauce on the side if you want.

Mission style generally has rice and beans in it, and supposedly the rest of Mexico didn't use to (or still doesn't) even have burritos *shrugs*. Way off topic but, guessed called such, quesadillas fritas is way more awesome then the American quesadillas, been one place that did that with a green salsa that was just mmmm.

To get game related, saw this on the new releases, I'm not sure what to think of this game O_O:

Hopefully that gets fixed with a patch. 45 second load times wouldn't be so bad in most games, but in a game like Bloodborne where you're going to die a lot it'd be a pain

Reminds me of the Splatterhouse remake which had atrocious load times everytime you died.

You would think the big PS4 exclusive would work better than some niche last-gen remake.

Someone tell Sony + From Software to work out some kind of deal, so that Bloodborne gets a PC port.

Not sure yet. Opening the box is currently in my backlog.
True story: I have a Sad Panda WoW CE in my "box opening" backlog, mostly because I don't play WoW. I just got the CE for $30 on sale at GameStop.

Hm.

Has anyone ever seen Neuro and me in the same room? Perhaps I am he and he is me and we are all together. . . .

I'm debating on if I want to sell my Diablo 3 USB Soulstone or take a selfie with it in my parents basement.
Take a selfie with that in one hand and a 12-pack in the other.

That Bloodbourne patch is being released very soon.

I heard that Amazon(France) already let a listing slip for a PC version. Praise the Moon.
Google'd this, saw it on IGN and that Amazon.fr has a long history of leaking things accurately. Interesting, if so. Then I scrolled down to the comments and sighed.

Yes because From Software is do good at doing PC Ports.
And if they (From) did screw up another PC port, Durante and/or the PC modding community could take care of the port + fix it.

Better for it to be here than not at all.

Actually amazon.fr's reputation is one of pulling shit out of their asses with no basis in reality. Also, never read IGN any comments.

DS2 was rock solid, downgraded graphics aside.

No, it's not. Because I played Bloodborne when it was God of War DarkWatch Dante's Inferno Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Castlevania: Lament of Innocence The Darkness Devil May Cry another gothic third-person action-adventure. Oh yeah, and multiplayer characters from The Darkness II could turn into a murder of crows and all these other things. So, bleh.

Man, I loved the Darkness 2. Glitched out on one of the mission and I never got to finish it, but that was a fun game.

Anyway, Bloodborne's camera is a  fuck ing nightmare. I like a lot of things about the game, but the load times and terrible camera make me sad.

I would have to play the game myself to get a grip on the camera, but if any of the prior souls games had terrible load times it would've driven me crazy.

I saw that yesterday. Blame Germany.
At least it isn't Nazis, right?

...though I may be biased, as this actually sounds vaguely appealing to me for some reason. I think it's the 70s/80s schtick they're advertising. I'm a sucker for protonostalgia.

Speak for yourself.
I'm glad Killer is Dead; Dark Souls 1 + 2; FFXIII; Deadly Premonition; and other games actually got a PC version.
MysterD is happy about AAA console ports?

Dem Rock Solid Downgraded Grafix.
Oh, you. The preview builds that were initially shown (allegedly on a PS3 no less - haha yeah right) had way better lighting than the final product on all platforms. I'm not defending that, but the port we did get is still a complete 180 from DS1, in that it actually has graphics options and is optimized well enough to even run decently on my stupid laptop.

It's a stretch to call Killer is Dead and Deadly Premonition "AAA"...or even just "A".
