This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Did you get it from that irritating religious gamer twitter dude whose groupies will hound you if you don't write a review?
no it was a post on reddit that vanished seconds after it was up because of reddit rules

it was initially the for beta, but i guess they felt bad for making me punch said skeleton 195 times and decided to let the beta people keep the steaming pile

I remember there was a beta signup for Savage Lands. It was those signups that was available before the game went live on Steam. I got a key from the devs, redeemed, and never install it.

GMG  25% off voucher running during E3.    GRAB25-PERCNT-OFFNOW

Says "it's good to go with pretty much anything we have onsite".

These sales... just give me Risen 3 for $10... GabeN you could do at least that.  Discount will probably go from 50% to 55% off.

Final Fantasy VII remake is a thing.
I have no idea why people love it so much.
The story is lame, Cloud is an awful hero. He ends up in the fetal position 3 times through the course of the story having some emo BSOD, and he's not even the badass hero. The badass hero is all in backstory! But apparently because he's got spike-y hair and a big sword, the kids think he's cool.

Sephiroth is an even worse villian. He cries for his MOMMY the entire game. Seriously. Running around yelling "JENOVA" does not make you look like a scary badass. But I guess cause he's got a cool sword, a nice theme song and is some kind of creepy goth pretty boy the kids thing he's fucking awesome.

Blah. fuck that game.
It's not like it did anything groundbreaking. It's a by the numbers trope-fest, but because some millenial turdburglars thought the cutscenes were awesome back in the day, it's worth a complete reworking and rerelease?

Meh.

Now, Cuphead is something to be excited about. And at least it'll be on the PC.

So, tell us how you really feel.

That FF7 remake trailer.. oh man.  That moment when you go "wait.. that sword.. that hair.. OMG!"

I was about to flip out when I thought it was only a PS4 thing then i realized it says "play it first".    If it looks anything like Advent Children did, I can't wait to see it.

Overshot the grumpy old man mark, eh?

Yeah. At least the Materia system was actually kind of fun.
Given how Square has been in the past couple decades with stuff like "The After Years", I wonder if they'll leave it so that Aeris actaully stays dead, even in after-game content.

I don't think many millenials were playing FF7 back when it first released since they'd be like... five or six?
Nah. Technically the Millenial generational cohort runs from 1982-2004. With Final Fantasy coming out in 97, you'd have plenty of them having Final Fantasy 7 as their entry into the franchise. Granted, there's plenty of them that'd have been old enough to even play NES Final Fantasies.

Good to know about Shadowrun not really being a daily deal, can go ahead and table it a "if nothing else more interesting comes up," option.

About Automation, specifically where it is at, found this on the forums (actually Gear City's but still). Throw it in spoilers as at 15% off, much more likely members of RAG would be buying it then CAG.

Automation and Gear City took very different approaches to improving the original Detroit game concept. Eric has done an excellent job on the business side of things while much expanding the technical choices too. If you want an in-depth car TYCOON right now, there is basically just Gear City. In Automation we used a modular approach, building the game from inside out starting with the engine designer, then the car designer and right now the very first tycoon parts are being developed, but won't be finished for at least another year or two!

The monster game is so pointless.  I think tomorrow I'll just get a couple cards and forget about upgrading anything.

Maybe if it gave you like 10 steam level xp per certain number of game levels completed, it might be worth doing.

Someone mentioned it before but you get one for joining a friend's game and then another for killing a boss and then another at some random time. After I switch games I rarely check up on the game.

Were I to craft some badges right now with cards I just bought for 4 cents, I would receive Summer cards that would be unavailable for sale or trade until after they all disappear, correct?

Kind of off topic but still applies. I'm loving my Nvidia Shield TV Console. Something is just so great about being able to play all these steam games from the comfort of my couch on my 65" TV. It works way better than I expected

Huh.. that's awesome... welcome to the same technology we've had for... I dunno.. a decade? HDMI cable and a wireless Xbox controller. Both of which didn't cost anything extra.

How much was it? 200?

Edit:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/nvidia-shield-android-tv-console,4170.html

Seems like they had lag regardless and had to hardwire the PC and the Shield together anyways.... thus being a 200 router... that stinks.

Glad you're enjoying it though.
