This is correct. You have to play through the tutorial mission and earn the "And So It Begins..." achievement in order to get the voucher for Enemy Within.

The Playfire page reads differently but then I don't have my voucher so who am I to argue. Anyway, if I wanted to play the games I have, I wouldn't need vouchers to buy more of them.

 
I idled for cards and got this message:

Welp I decided to try and play through Aliens: Colonial Marines and at about the halfway point it just decided to respawn me at the final scene in the game. I guess the game just decided it was done boring me and wanted to spare me the trouble of actually playing it.

The first (and only) time I played Enclave, it played the credits when I selected Quit Game. I figured it knew I wasn't coming back.

Just thought I'd throw this out there, but in TVHM of BLtPS, the story and the way it is told does alter a wee bit. The difficulty is also greater than Normal, which is obvious, but it caught me by surprise a couple levels in. BLtPS normal I feel is easier than BL2, but it's TVHM feels more difficult than BL2's. The gap between the two actually seems more proper as going from Normal to TVHM in BL2 never seemed that much harder to me. I did hardly any side missions in Normal as I tried to stay within 3 levels under the given mission level. I've already done a bunch of side missions in TVHM and I'm only halfway through and still 3-4 levels under my current story mission. I haven't been keeping track, but the level jump between story missions is apparently spaced farther apart. In the long run, I think it'll balance out better making the jump to UVHM (assuming it's/will be still there) less jarring than BL2.

I've seen it for pre-order at GameStop, Best Buy, Amazon, and on Origin.

But I'm not seeing it at reliable sellers like GreenManGaming or GamersGate.  (Which is unfortunate, as I have no desire on paying $70 for it.)

Any ideas?

The physical version of this game is being sold at multiple retailers, but it looks like the digital version is exclusive to Origin.

GMG / GamersGate seem to be selling less of EA's stuff these days. Your only choice might be the stores you listed first. :\

I have, it's alright. You look at it and you figure it'll be like Earthbound or Dragon Quest, but it's more like a very limited Final Fantasy. There's an active battle gauge or whatever, and you pick four actions per character, and you can only use those four during the battle. "This move is weak but I can use it a bunch of times, this attack is strong but the enemy can interrupt it", stuff like that, it's kind of annoying.

UVHM sucked so bad in Borderlands 2. I played the Siren as a support character with two friends and couldn't fucking do shit. I'd pretty much have to farm for legendaries every level to every other level just to be able to do anything. It was ridiculously bad, mostly because legendaries had shit drop rates. I can only hope this one doesn't fall into that same category. However from farming the level 30 raid boss on normal difficulty, it seems the legendary drop rate still sucks. Guess that's why they kept the golden chest so people don't feel bad about how bad the drop rate is on good legendaries.

Technically I've beat the game, but it's on an alt character (Nisha) while I wait for a friend to get back from vacation before I Claptrap the shit out of the game.

Never played Earthbound but I did love Dragon Quest. Thanks for answering! I'll probably just hold off until a bigger % discount then.

I like Borderlands, but this is the #1 gripe I have with the game. The loot is just awful. The game may have 8 bajillion guns, but 99.999999% of them are poop.

Surprisingly, I've picked up a couple legendaries already from regular drops and have even had some pop up in vending machines. Personally, I don't recall seeing any legendaries in anything but Torgue machines in BL2, so that's kinda cool.

I was going to start with Nisha as she seems like a good farming character, but ended up picking Wilhelm. With Wolf geared for duration and the Rolling Thunder skill, it's a great mob spec. Wolf only seems to die against enemies that are 5+ levels above.

I've only seen a couple from shops deal spots (Beat the game at level 24. Am level 29 now from farming) and not one single one from the raid boss I'm farming. I'm mostly farming them for a quick step up on my Claptop TVHM playthrough when I get there. Useless ones will be grinded for a more useful weapon type.

As soon as my friend gets back from vacation and starts playing, he'll probably have 15 by the time he's level 30. The drop rate in the Borderlands series just likes to shit on me.
