GamersGate key's finally revoked according to the internet:

Revoked here, also.

I just one minute ago found out that our pet rat ate 10 of her children. That's fucked up.

No, no... not Warlock 2... Take my sight, just not... ohhhh

1. a pet rat

2. you should have fed the thing.

3. see what else it'll eat
It was fed. Apparently that's just a thing that rats do. Welp no more pet rats anymore. The bitch is gone.

So, when are those AC Unity Steam-versions gonna get revoked? ;)
I'm curious how this whole Ubi games removed from Steam situation is going to play out. I bought Far Cry 4 Gold through Origin using an "exploit" and I'm wondering if it'll be effected as well.

My guess is they'll come to some sort of amicable agreement.

Apparently this stems from Ubisoft not liking the way Steam prices things regionally, so they pulled the UK version first and now Steam has just said "Well fuck you guys" and pulled it from everywhere.

It'll be interesting to see if they refund those that have pre-ordered or it becomes one of those uber-expensive rare Steam gifts that people think are valuable for whatever reason.

Is FC4 on Origin the Steam-version?

B/c often - Origin is only forced to run in the background, on their own 1st-party games.

B/c I'd guess the problem w/ Steam is they have strict rules about DLC's + micro-transactions - i.e. they must also appear on Steam, or else you wind-up like Dragon Age 2 (kicked-off Steam) until you adhere to their rules.

I don't know if there's any other Steam-rules Ubi broke; or if Ubi just decided to say "I'm tired of Valve taking 33% of my digital-sales on Steam."

Jeez now I have to go back and edit my wishlist.

The day keeps getting better.

Just get one of your brother's cousin's friend's nephews to edit it. You have all their Steam account passwords, so they have yours as well, right?

Right?

Actually no. Just because they trust me doesn't mean I have any reason to trust them.

As a matter of fact certain members of my family I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them.

FYI being trusted doesn't mean being respected.

Publishers have basically free reign over pricing and Valve doesn't really care. But they can suggest you prices.

UK removal is supposedly due to UK retailer(s) complaining and same happened with previous Ubisoft games on Steam. (Far Cry 3, ACIV, Watch_Dogs not available during preorder).

Not necessarily, Denuvo whatever + Steam DRM + Rockstar Social Club would work too.

Real world examples: LotF seems to be Steam DRM + Denuvo and FIFA 15 Origin + Denuvo.
I was reading that thread from that other forum that discussed this. Lords of the Fallen has been cracked, so I dunno what they were saying about that it'd never be. FIFA hasn't been though.

All UbiSoft's Season Pass DLC Pack increasing $10 USD = confirmed.

The fine print:

The Steam key redeemer cannot have a CAG forum account.  Instead, he/she must maintain some familial, romantic, platonic, or vocational tie to a CAG forum user, posting through that user as a conduit for said request.  Said conduit in turn must have made at least 100 posts and must provide independent verification of said relationship via a minimum of three unaffiliated character witnesses.  Circumvention of said regulations will be met with Steam key revocation and/or notification of gross misconduct to Playfire.

Quote which games you want (more than one is OK but be reasonable), must have at least 100 posts, open to previous requesters

AC Unity; AC Rogue; Dragon Age: Inquisition; Fallout 4; and Witcher 3.

And thanks. ;)

Can I have Data Hacker Corruption?

I had a rabbit that did that, as well.

It's a thing animals of that type do when they don't feel capable of raising their young due to environmental stress.

Kind of makes sense. When I feel like I can't do something I like to immediately prove that I can't do it in the most appalling way possible.

So this is you if you ever have kids

I walked right into that one. Still totally true though!

Also I didn't recognize that as lostnumber's avatar at first because he has probably changed it seven or eight times since the last time I signed on earlier today.

okay so valve made mistake from rmeovoing the ubisoft game on uk instead worldwide

Update on my previous post: I just got off the phone with Ubisoft Technical Support about this issue and they said that it was not meant to be removed worldwide, only from the UK, and it was an error on Steam's part. They said they are working and communicating with the folks at Steam to get it back to Steam. (Besides the UK, it's permanently done with there.)
