I'm surprised that it doesn't give you a Steam key... I thought Codemasters bought into Steamworks like Bethesda did.

I don't disagree at all with what you're saying. My thought was in regard to the 30-day wait on Steam gifts during event sales and the potential for region locks. Especially since dispenser.tf stores the seller's gifts for those easy automated transactions.

I like dispenser.tf so I'm hoping they evolve and expand with something like this. That would be great. :pray:

Please Valve have mercy, turn a blind eye to region locking.

 
Just went through some issues with keys for lightfish from DIG super bundle 8.  Turns out they had some goof up and the keys were dupes.  Support even sent me 6 bad keys until they finally gave me working ones.  So if you picked up that bundle (probably nobody...) then your keys could be invalid.  With that said, the following games are up for grabs.  Let me know which one you want...hopefully they'll be valid.

I almost feel like they're playing it against themselves. Where Steam once used to be a place where it didn't take much effort to find new, interesting games that you might be interested in. Now it's a lot more dense and much more difficult to find new and interesting things that you're typically unaware that it even exists.

Apparently you're supposed to check out your "Exploration Page" which is just sale items from your wishlist and random bullshit that may or may not be on sale. The link they had from the News page didn't even work.

During that brief discussion concerning free Goat Simulator DLC I said I would buy the game at 50% off just so I could get the free stuff.  Now those Gaben minions have gone and put Goat Simulator on sale for 50% off and I have to decide if I was serious or not.  Whatever.

 
So Ubisoft just announced they're sorry for the AC Unity problems.

To make up for it, they're giving the upcoming Dead Kings DLC free to everyone. They're also DISCONTINUING the Season Pass.

To make up for that, anyone who has Gold or the Season Pass will be eligible for a free game:

You're only limited to platform. IE Steam purchasers get the Steam version of new game, etc. They havent rolled out the free game thing yet.
