Does anyone know why my Origin client would randomly change to Euros instead of US $? With the exception of the On The House games, I've made no changes or game purchases since Titanfall. I reached out to Origin support a week ago but haven't gotten a response to my ticket yet.

 
I know the answer and know that Steam has banned people for this.... but thought I would ask if people have had success buying games from the US Steam store page using VPN and such?

I used to live in the US so I have address, purchase history, and credit cards from there but I don't know if that's still going to be a problem.

I think this is a really grey area. You have more than a lot do, but if I were you, Id find someone I know in the US to buy and gift me the game rather than take the risk.

Buying with a VPN is 100x more risky than just activating from one.

There are about 2000 people playing right now, though its not primetime, it goes up at night. You can find matches relatively easily but mostly in attrition (deathmatch) which I personally think is the least fun mode.

Yeah.. I'd be willing to buy him anything on the US Steam store at cost. I have a million dollars in steam credit to get rid of

 
Is anyone using a jshacklesified version of the Steam client?  Is that still an option?  I use the extension in Chrome but sometimes I have to use the client and would like the same features to be available.

 
I said last time Shadowrun Returns was in an overpriced bundle-tier that I might as well buy it next time it hits 75% off. And now it's 80% off and I'm still not sure if I want it!

I have a buddy who uses VPN all the time to activate games. He's never been bothered by Steam. Hes probably done it over 100 times cause he buys keys from those key resellers and will get RU+CIS locked gifts anyway and just activate them via VPN.

I have another buddy who used VPN to buy a bunch of Evolve when it had the Indonesian glitch a few weeks ago. His account was banned completely less than a week later.

Buying with VPN, needless to say, is far more dangerous.

Besides them being hammered, Jshackles mentioned elsewhere that "Valve implemented an API limit that prevents places like IsThereAnyDeal and SteamDB from updating their items in bulk from a single source." So pricing updates during sales for tracker sites are going to be slow for the foreseeable future.

Official RPG Codex opinion is that you should skip the base Shadowrun and just get Dragonfall.  Also you should all follow the glorious Codex Curator so that we may unseat the YouTube channel hipsters.  Angry Joe has already gone down in flames.

I thought the original Shadowrun Returns was great.

Of course, I bought it way after they implemented the new saving features.

Really looking forward to Dragonfall.

Krugozor has Goat Simulator for $3.50 and Battleblock Theater for $1 or $1.50 for the 2-pack if anyone is interested.  I'm pretty sure I am.

 
I had picked up AC Unity on PS4 to play with friends/roommates. On a whim I just decided to pickup the Season Pass as well. Glad to see that pays off and I'm going to get Far Cry 4 out of that!

Agreed. I had never even heard of the Fables comics until Telltale announced TWAU. After playing it I have to say I really, really enjoyed it. Well worth the purchase.

I'm never going to waste money on any Borderlands game again. TFTB was an instant pass the second I heard about it.

Is this the end of the year sale by any chance? I assume no since there are no events to collect shit and waste precious money on items with the hopes of unlocking rare things?
