Skyrim + DLC's at 25% off right now (b/c it ain't flipped fully yet).

Looks like Zenimax really must've bombed w/ RAGE + ESO. ;)

EDIT:

Okay, it's now flipped to typical Zenimax shenanigans...

To get the 4.99 Oblivion or the 6.24 Oblivion, that, is the question.

I know that extra DLC isn't that great from what I hear, but I can't help but think I'll want it, at least down the road.

FWIW Gamefly has the Skyrim Legendary 66% off and you can use the 20% off voucher JUL20OFF on top of that so it comes out to $10.87 which is the lowest to date AFAIK (Newegg had boxed for $10.99 and free ship once back in March).

That's probably as good as you will get with Bethesda.

Also Kerbal devs if people didn't buy your game at 40% off the last 18 times you had it on sale for that price they probably aren't going to do it now.

Where that might really matter is if there's any mods out there you want to use that might actually forces game-owners to own EVERY official DLC period.

If Hero of the Kingdom is still around, I'd like to take it.

Oh and just in case anyone thinks of getting the older ES games Morrowind or Oblivion on Gamefly to use the extra 20% don't. They are non-Steam versions and AFAIK Gamefly is the only place still selling them that way.

Ugh.. I feel like a jerk for asking for another one.. but any one from this list would be most welcome. (I'm not asking for all of them, seriously, surprise me). Also, at this point I feel like I'd better donate, but it probably won't be able to for a week or so.

Thanks for doing what you're doing!

Don't feel bad, I haven't donated yet either. Hoping to do so next week.

Yeah I saw but I didn't mention it because their sales are crappier. Seems like they might be accounting for the fact that people will use the 20% voucher and factoring that in whereas Gamefly did not.
Yeah, the GameFly's deal's better.

I might've bit on GameFly's deal, if it was 66% off before any voucher.

I own Skyrim + Dragonborn, so I would be best off buying Dawnguard + Hearthfire w/ a 20% off coupon.

If you want to look at it this way - that would net me a free copy of Hearthfire.

Still - bleh.

knights of the nine and shivering isles are both great, which is what you get for 4.99. the rest is a bunch of fluff - mehrune's razor is just a long dungeon crawl, iirc, and gives you a pretty mediocre weapon at the end. and that's probably the best/most extensive dlc. i think four of the dlcs are houses, which are all pretty admittedly cool (especially the pirate ship one)....but they're just houses. the orrery is pretty meh. spell tome treasures adds more spells to the game, and now you can loot spell tomes.

it's all pretty solidly mediocre. if you're a really big elder scrolls fan, and are the type that plays these games for hundreds of hours, i recommend it, especially since it's just another 1.25. if oblivion is just gonna sit in your backlog forever and then once you play it you level a character for 50-70 hours it's probably not worth it.

Also, FWIW:

Amazon DVG has matched Steam's deals for Skyrim + DLC's.

So, all of y'all w/ Bing-made Amazon GC $ to blow, here ya go:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=elder+scrolls+v+pc+downloads&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aelder+scrolls+v+pc+downloads
guess i'll get dawnguard and bite the bullet and get heartfire w/gaben bux. ive been thinking of playing skyrim again soon, anyway.

edit: nvm, maybe i'll get through gamefly...just realized i'm out of amazon credit

I've been holding off on playing more Skyrim b/c I ain't finished the base-game's main quest (even w/ over 100 hours sunk into this game); and that I want all of the DLC's that I'm missing (Hearthfire + Dawnguard). When I have them all, then I really want to sink my teeth back into it - and then, since we likely ain't getting any more patches, start modding this game-up a bit.

And right now - yeah, I do want to get back into it.

But, dammit - these pricing schemes from Bethesda....they're just very aggravating.

Not sure if I want to bite the bullet now and maybe throw some Amazon GC $ into the 2 DLC's; or buy the 2 DLC's from GameFly w/ 20% off coupon - and just get this crap freaking over with...or what.

Freaking bleh.

i think i might buy because i'm tired of waiting. dawnguard and hearthfire have been out for two years now...who knows how long it'll be til it finally hits 66% off.

Likewise, I'm tempted to finally get the rest of the Skyrim DLC, but I'm not ready to dive back into the game yet.  Gonna remain patient.  Even if I end up getting it for the same ten bucks and change later, now's not the time.

The LE? Um, it is.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy it but I was actually debating booting up Skyrim today before I randomly flipped on Painkiller. I've been wanting to finally play it w/all the dlc and mods installed, so why not throw down for it. Plus my purchasing sacrifice will undoubtedly open the sales floodgates for everybody else.

I was waiting for Legendary on GMG... But their discount is really crap
As Motoki pointed out - GameFly got the best deal for Skyrim Legendary:

$13.59 price-tag (66% off) + JUL20OFF coupon (20% off) = $10.87.

If I own zero Skyrim content, zero Amazon GC $, and zero card-money from Gaben - I'd get it there.

Of course - I own Skyrim + Dragonborn; so it'd be cheapest for me to just get Dawnguard + Hearthfire from somewhere.

My problem w/ using Amazon GC $ there - I buy A LOT from them...such as MP3 digital music, digital video games, sometimes hardware for my PC, sometimes physical retail boxed PC games, etc. I might be better off throwing my Bing-made Amazon GC $ probably in something else that's harder to get a "good" deal on.

Not for the DLC's - they're 50% off before coupon.
Oh that. You'll probably be waiting until Elsweyr freezes over for them to go lower on that DLC. Not in their current strategy. We just have to grumble and take the full package at almost 75% off or just not buy it. *shrug* It is what it is.

That deal for Legendary's not for me - namely b/c I already own Skyrim base-game and Dragonborn DLC!

If I did not own Dragonborn already, I'd be so all over the Legendary deal at GameFly. It'd be "close enough"; and I'd know I'd lose more time than I can recall in a Bethesda game.

For my situation, I'd save 88 cents just buying Dawnguard + Hearthfire from GameFly w/ a 20% off coupon ($9.99) - the content I'm missing. That's the better deal for me, if I'm gonna bite here.

Wait, I'm confused - what DLC do you have MysterD - and is this deal right for you?

Edit: Spodered - this is what I get for attempting to quote all the times he's mentioned it and then, somehow, messing up the formatting and screwing it all up..

MysterD, can you repeat yourself 5 more times? I don't think you got your point across.
But he (Motoki) said for me to take the "Full package" (Legendary).

I don't need the "full package" (Legendary) in this instance - just to get all the DLC and the best pricing for me.

I already screwed myself here by buying Dragonborn for $5.30 (after tax) from Amazon, some-time ago - and yet still ain't touched that content!

Without question, the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles are better than any of that other stuff. But, the houses all come with things that (depending on your character) can be pretty useful/fun.

I ended up using the Thieves Den a fair bit, even though it really isn't that special. The chest to train security and other thief oriented stuff does come in handy. The Vile Lair has a pretty useful area in which you can feed, without fear of repercussions. The Wizard's Tower lets you get Atronach Familiars, which if you like the idea of having a lot of followers (although this doesn't work terribly well), is kinda cool. The Fighter's stronghold has a combat trainer, which can really come in handy for training certain skills.

To me, while the content in no way compares to Shivering Isles for example, if one is going to sink a ton of time into Oblivion, then those houses could end up being well worth getting. Sure, they're just houses, but they all have something unique that you can't get anywhere else. If you're a vampire wizard thief that needs training you'll love the houses.

Shivering Isles is excellent. Sheogorath (did I spell that right?) was fantastic.

Shiv Isles (from TES4) and Bloodmoon (from TES3) are probably my favorite Elder Scrolls series expansions.

EDIT:

what do you need? :whistle2:
Hearthfire + Dawnguard.

EDIT 2:

#DealWithIt
Adam Orth, is that you? ;)
