Oh Yes!!!! Finally Bobby has awaken from his zombie sleep. I'm so glad to welcome you back my lovely Bobby. :p
Don't get too excited, most likely temporary. But I'm not working today and I felt "nostalgic". :bouncy:

Besides, it's not as if I wasn't just talking to you on Steam a minute ago.

Been up fairly late playing Plague Inc extremely addicting and interesting game. You basically control a bacteria or virus or fungus etc and the goal of every round is to destroy the world. Its obviously timely with Ebola and all that, but Im finding it intuitive and interesting. I would definitely recommend it to pick up on the next sale.

Cant wait to play as PewDiePie :)

I grabbed it on iOS a long time ago. It's got excellent replay value and it's a cracking little time waster. The dev has been very good with ongoing support, too.

You might want to stop DrSasquatch from playing it though. I'm pretty sure he's using it as a test chamber for his world-ending superbug.

Hey, I use Origin all the time. I usually play BF4 on a weekly basis. and actually, a few months ago, I had a LAN party where we played some old school BF 1942 for a few hours. Ahhh, nostalgia.

The only time I use Origin is to check if the free game they gave out was really added to my library. It's fine as a client but having those games in a separate space means I forget which ones I have and I'll never play them. Same with Desura

Usually, when I get a game from another service...

...The first thing I do is hop on Steam, add it as a Non-Steam game + filter it right into one of my Non-Steam Game List categories.

That way, I won't forget about it. :D

Anyone have a spare Paranautical Activity key? :)
I do. Running a raffle on it. To get a raffle ticket, support my Extra Life campaign (all money goes to Seattle Children's Hospital). Each dollar donated today buys one ticket. So far there are zero entries, so you would have 100% chance of winning!!

I am totally not doing that. See? No yellow Comic Sans!

Love that game. I have played a bunch on Steam and a bunch on iOS. I prefer the Steam one, mostly for ease of directing zombie hordes and Trojan Planes to spread to Neurax Worm.

I invited Mike Murderbeck to my rage groups on Steam: U Mad Bro, You Seem Upset, and #ugotrekt.

I hope to Jewish Christ that he accepts.

Totally is just another word for not, inferring multiple negation.

You totally totally are doing it!

Two months ago you planned Tebola. Last week it hit the US.

HmmmmmmMMMMM?
AHHHHHHH!! You weren't supposed to find out about that! I've barely even started to mutate the symptoms of Tebola!

Finished-up not too long ago today that Deadly Premonition: Director's Cut (PC).

Hell of a game + a trip and a half and then some, I must say.

So...like a trip and three-quarters?
Yes.

It's eccentric, bizarre, hilarious, ridiculous, weird, and surreal.

Gamers who wanted an open-world game meeting-up w/ Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Seven (movie), and any David Lynch film should make sure they give this game a chance when it's cheap.

Just, one thing: it can be a royal pain-in-the-ass to get it running half-way decent, since it's one of the worst PC ports ever put together. It might even be worst than Bully PC, on the technical side of things. If you can get those problems down to a minimum - you're in for a hell of a ride.

I don't think you can say any David Lynch film. I don't think Deadly Premonition has much in common with Dune.

DPFix.

Though it took a full Windows reinstall for it to get to recognize my 360 pad. :p

Granted, I ain't watched TV series Twin Peaks - but many do compare Deadly Premonition heavily to that.

I have seen Mulholland Drive + Inland Empire - and in terms of style, Deadly Premonition has that kind of eccentric-ness, weirdness + surrealism that those films have.

Trust me - you'll need more than DPFix to fix this game.

Might wanna use a LAA Program to tag it to notice 4GB+ RAM, as well - to keep it from crashing on the regular every 20-40 minutes. As that kept me at least playing for a 1-3 hours or so.

I think there might be a memory-leak bug - but eventually, after playing for a time-period, framerates go from 60 FPS to eventually a crawl. Then, it'll just crash to desktop (CTD).

Even still - game's buggy as crap; and it could be running well...and it'll just CTD, out the blue.

Oh and Dark Souls just had an official GFWL removal announced.

Source.
Nice of them to provide a way to transfer your save data.

During the Batman conversion to Steam I believe a user-made script was the only way to convert your saves, and for the recent Dawn of War 2 transition I think I lost all of my save data and last stand progress unfortunately.

SpooderW has sold his half of the company to the programmer so, in his words, PA may return or at least other Code Avarice games will be allowed on the service in the future now that he's not involved with the company.

http://codeavarice.com/post/100592709238/mike-is-leaving-code-avarice

So there's a chance PA will return.
Doesn't sound like the guy learned his lesson after having read though that. No real apology as he tries side-stepping the issue and place blame elsewhere by adding in fluff that makes it look anything but genuine. Not to mention he throws another insult towards a future employer who could easily pull this very same webpage when an employer does a background check on him.

tl;dr Dude has issues and needs professional help.

His partner Travis doesn't seem much better from what I've seen either.

To reiterate what Foxhack and MysterD said if you can get Deadly Premonition for cheap prepare to jump through hoops to get the game working it took me a couple of hours to get it to run by then I moved on to another game out of frustration.

I doubt that little arrangement makes it any more likely for PA to return to Steam.  I'm sure they'd just give Mike money under the table and Valve knows that.

Regarding Blob From Space keys:

So WGN held 2 promotions for Blob In Space.

One of those involved getting the game for free along with some exclusive DLC once it was released. We're currently sending out Steam keys for the game to those who entered and we will give the DLC once it's available.

We also had a widget where anyone could try out the beta on Desura. This promotion was for Desura only.

Awesome, I just got mine. Thanks, Carl!
