I thought some were region-free. And yeah I buy mostly for movies I really enjoy and the amazing artwork.

 
Most of the Steelbooks are either Region Free or Region A/B so they can be played in the US.

Really don't like the artwork for the Prestige. I still hope that black bar is a photoshop screwup. That was there when they first released the artwork.

As for the person above, most steelbooks are region free or can be played in US blu ray players. If you are really worried about it get a region free player. There are only a few studios that region lock their discs. Studio Canal in Germany certainly comes to mind 

 
Had my shipment of all of the Reel Heroes / comic book panel steelbooks show up from Amazon and they were packaged perfectly in a box, without any issues in shipment.

 
Just a heads up, the Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz steelbooks came out yesterday. I'm pretty sure there were others that came out yesterday, but those were the ones I picked up.
 
Just got a shipment notice from Zavvi and they only sent 1 Aladdin. If they canceled my other one I'm going to be fucking pissed.
 
Has anyone actually seen the Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, or Paul Limited Editions that were released Tuesday at a retail store?

Nope no US release date. All these Disney steels I have pretty much ordered right as they went live.

I'm hoping I get the doubles of all the ones I ordered because they are gifts.

So far it's only been this one and Jungle Book right? Have you received confirmation for your second orde yet? I remember reading that they never ship stuff together but wasn't the release limited to 500, who knows if they will impose limits.

 
Barnes & Noblie was a b2g1free right now, you can get the universal comic steelboks for esentially $10 a piece depending on what your tax is.

I ordered six of them from B&N. The package arrived today any five out of six were dented due to poor packaging. I'm just going to buy what I can at Costco since they have a few for $9.99. I will get some more at best Buy when the Upgrade and Save comes around.

OK, I'm probably late to the party or unaware of something, but if FutureShop doesn't ship to the US, why are we talking about this sale? There are three steelbooks I'd buy (NSMB2, Dishonored, and Skyrim), but it kind of sucks that I can't actually get them delivered. :cry:

Are there any Canadian CAGs that would be willing to place an order for me and then ship them to the US?  I would be willing to return the favor for any US exclusive in the future.

 
BTW, Zavvi charged me for 2 copies of Aladdin, but I only received one. Anyone else have that happen?



I haven't received mine, but I have a feeling that is going to happen to me. People on bluray forum have reported getting 2, but only paid for 1
 
I just received mine, arrived in great condition, the box was a little banged up but the dexterity of the box was more than enough.

 
Got both my Aladdins. Time to watch it!

On a side note they have super shitty packaging. no wonder they are getting damaged.

How were yours packaged? My copy was in a perfectly sized box in between 2 pieces of thin foam which imo is a lot better than just a bubble mailer.
