This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Yea, I saw the DDR bundles as well. They were for PS2 and I don't think they had hit the $20ish price in my area yet. Not really interested so didn't pay much attention to it.

My MD location had a ton of them, but they were still $30. If they drop to $15, I'd pick one or two up.

Surprisingly no. What am I suppose to be looking for, problem wise??? When I started it there was an update and then I started the game.

I think I am gonna go back and get Ninja Gaiden (DS), anyone know if its good??? Oh, and does target do the whole return and rebuy thing???

No, it's controlled with the stylus and is free range combat. Look up videos online.
 
OK....I'm beginning to think that the clerks at Target are working with the ex employee and flea market guy who grabs stuff from my local store, since I SWEAR I saw Dark Sector for $19.98 just LAST WEEK there.

I went there last night and the sticker on it said $27.98.

ok cool thanks for the heads up man, i was just wandering cause all im hearin is that the game locks up alot & alot of things dont register as well like achivements & in game items

The game had alot of bugs and other problems. Rockstar has released a patch that updates the game as soon as you put it in. This patch "update" fixes all the issues and the game plays fine now. Well worth $15.

I have seen some strange price adjustments too. My Targets are not that good at covering it up because they dont put the new sticks over the old ones perfectly so you can see the sticker underneath the new one was cheaper. Kinda annoying. Plus my Target forgets about the games in the game case and does not update them.
 
Ok... this isn't game-related.. unless you like eating steak and brats while fragging someone.. Target has their gas grills on clearance in my local area. Some of them are pretty decent and have average reviews here and there.. last I checked, they were at 15% off.

One is an Aussie grill with a side burner for around $119, some very large Amani and another brand stainless steel grills that look pretty nice for around the $169 & $190-ish mark. There's a Thermos gas grill for $86, no side burner, good for a couple people if you ask me.

For me.. to hell with Dark Sector, I want a gas grill. I'm tired of screwing with charcoal. Anybody know if they have dropped further in their markets? I don't have the DCPI's off the top of my head, I type them in instead of hauling a damned grill to a scanner to make sure their prices are marked correctly. If anyone has any info, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

The food clearance had some Cheerio's version of Chex Mix, a lot of different bottled water/gatorade, etc. If it's a bulk packaged item with a white box "limited time extra value pack," it's on clearance. Same with some Listerine stuff. No clearance booze lately at the wine and beer section. Saw some bluetooth gateway thing to make a cell phone work with a home land line for $17, a bunch of 512mb thumb drives.. games seemed to be pretty raped (and NO XBLA cards to be seen)

I figure someone is returning unopened copies bought at higher clearance prices, then buying the cheaper, and the employees aren't adjusting before restock. Did you scan it?
 
I picked up the last Bully (360) at a local target for $14.98 there was also one Bioshock left @ $19 and a few Nights for Wii for $14 (Dallas hwy Target in Kennnesaw/ metro-ATL)

I'm really not sure why someone would need one but 20 gig xbox 360 harddrives are 69.99 reduced from 99.99 at the cleburne, tx target.

nights on the wii is at the 27.98 price along with some of the other games mentioned here. Looking for bioshock, this location used to be awesome for clearance stuff now its starting to suck.
 
Went today to get a points card and Garfield dvds, and saw puzzle quest psp for 10.98, and NBA Live 08 ps3 for 19.98. I don't have a psp, but I might get NBA live if it drops further.

Picked up Bully: Scholarship Edition for $14.98 yesterday in Middletown Ny. I have a Target closer, but they haven't marked theirs down yet. I would rather it were 75% off, but I really wanted the game. I will keep it sealed for a bit to see if I run across it cheaper.

I also saw the 20GB for $70.

No Bully 360, no $25 controllers, and Dark Sector PS3 was still $27.

Plus there was only one lone game sitting on the usual clearance endcap. Most was in the regular priced $20-$30 game rack and the rest was still in the case.
 
Has anyone seen Gran Turismo Prologue for any cheaper than 30 bucks yet? That seems to be the only clearance game my local Target has, but its still on the regular shelf listed at regular price.

Snagged Buzz!: The Mega Quiz with buzzers for the PS2 for $19.99. Was hoping to find Bully (Wii) for $14.99. Instead, it was $34.99 here as well. YM definitely MV on Bully.

Probably another copy that was stickered when it dropped to $27.98, but didn't get the sticker (on that particular copy) when it dropped again. If they scan it, it'll probably show.

every game was scanned at every store i went to. i've hit up almost 20 targets now, hence the dirty looks.

PC Gamers, check out the 9.99 jewel case game shelf. I noticed nearly half the titles were knocked down 50% on clearance. A lot of shovelware, but a few good titles like Age of Empires compilation.

That's the thing, though. The employees at my local Target are a pita to try and get a price check from, so I usually just leave all frustrated. I get them repeating 'that's the price it is' over and over instead of taking a minute and price checking it for me.

I swear, I think the employee training at Target is starting to take cues from that of Kmart.
 
If anybody needs the Wii version of Bully for 25 shipped let me know. I found one lone copy at my local Target and hid it behind some books just in case.

Ditto - every Target I go to only has this, NEVER any deals I see on here.

i went to a different target today and they had some game on clearance but weren't as cheap as some of the other prices i saw on here. didn't get anything.

bully - $20.98
bioshock - $27.98
kane & lynch - $27.98

the blue & pink wireless controllers weren't on sale either, think they were $49.99.

My Target had Bully (360) for $14.98 which I got as well as Dark Sector (PS3) - $19.98, Bioshock (360) -$19.98 and NBA Ballers (360) -$19.98 Kane and Lynch (360) - $19.98

Plus a few other but I can't remember them. I was tempted on Dark Sector but didn't get it. I knew Bioshock was a good deal but I didn't want it.
