Target Clearance Thread XXIV

For those interested, don't forget to check the Target liquor aisles too (if you have them) as I saw a few whiskeys/wines/tequilas marked clearance at a couple of stores this past week. Ymmv.

No. We don’t have state run stores. Heck, we’ve only allowed alcohol sales on Sundays starting in 2012.
Coincidentally my area is the only one with Sunday alcohol sales at the stores. while the surrounding counties do not permit them. But we also somehow have like 2 liquor stores on every corner and giant sections in all the grocery stores. I joke that if they didn't have alcohol on Sundays they'd burn the town down.

I had a cartwheel $10 off $60 for electronics, toys, sporting goods, etc that had surprisingly few restrictions on it. Physical switch games and PS5 games seemed to be the only video game related thing not included but I was able to use it on a Switch online subscription which rarely gets discounts.

I have a $15 off $90 today. Also seems no restrictions. May stack well with the switch games at $40 each on sale for Mario day. Would end up 3 games for $105 before tax.

Check your local pawn shops first they might have those Mario games for $5-$10

That circle offer doesn't work on the Mario games. You can tell because the offer doesn't show up for any of those titles.

The YMMV Target electronics circle offer is also working on cellphone airtime cards which it never does, so there is probably a mistake going on.
if you are planning on using it toward a digital purchase, do it sooner rather than later. They may ‘fix’ it.

Occasionally offers do work at the very start before they update it on exclusions. Sometimes even afterwards a few slip through the cracks. But generally they tend to try and keep up on that not happening.

I still love the "grocery" circle offer I had a while back that worked on games I just had to find a filler item to get over 65. And they had a promo at the time where if you bought a new full priced game you were supposed to get a 10$ gift card bonus whatever.

Found the Boo amiibo at my local Target for $11.19 and a copy of Sonic Superstars on PS5 for $8.99!
Seems there may be a new round of clearance prices moving through? Has anyone else found anything cool this week?

Think clearance might be back/around still I saw a clearance tag for a game in the main case for switch games (Pokemon Shining Pearl, though sold out, at $41.99) and it said 03/17 on it or something like that on it so good chance it was clearanced today

Any of you guys know how Target handles returns without the bonus? Want to return AC Shadows and keep the steelbook but I've never done something like this, only BB where they just deduct $10.

Target had a steelbook????

The steelbook will ring up as a penny. When you return the game, you get original price mimus a penny back.

Edit: It was online only? Then you'll get full refund.

Not sure it was online only but my preorder was online. And I'm pretty sure it was listed as a bonus up until the day before the release date but I had it preordered long before.

I can assure you target lies. The steelbook is in store and online. My local store has several steelbooks as of yesterday. They can technically be rung out as its own item as well, there is no system requirement to tie it to a purchase.

ratchet and clank dropped to $20.99 near me. Street fighter is only 50% off
I still remember getting that for $15 at Wal-Mart years ago good game. I'm keeping an eye on rise of ronin at my target. I think it's the last copy that just been sitting outside the glass doors since the random clearnace deals weeks ago. Maybe if they do another on of those it'll be one of the ones to go down.

Been watching this copy of Street Fighter 6 like a hawk, waiting for it to hit clearance! It finally did a few weeks ago but only at 30% off, then 50% the next week, and finally the week after it hit 70% off! The tag said $19.99, but it scanned in at $11.99. There are still deals to be found out there peeps <3

Didn’t see SF6 at mine, but did pick up Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX.

Now I got the UPC from brickseek and the pricechecker said 29.99, but it rang up at 17,99 at the register. So I don’t know why there is a disconnect.

the price checkers at my store no longer work correctly. I scanned two items and they both gave me the wrong price. One item showed 50% off at the price scanner but came up as 70% off at the register.

Finally.
