Where is the weekly ad?
They ended the weekly ad for more rotation of deals. Please check the homepage and deal link for the current deals.

I can't find a trade in value for an item?
It might not be tradable or calling a store to find the value may be the only option.

How many copies of a game can I trade in?
You are allowed to trade in 4 copies of the same game (same system) within a rolling 30 day period.

Are there trade limits?
Yes, $500 cash minus some electronic trade ins and or $2000 trade credit in a rolling 30 day period.

Can I use the $5 monthly coupon on gift cards?

Yes you can in store but not online please note not all gift cards will apply to this rule.

I have a $XX.xx pre-owned reward certificate, and I want to use it on a B2G1 transaction. Should I?
It depends. If the three games are equal value, do not use your certificate. The value of the certificate would be applied to the free game, which would not benefit you. If one game is more expensive, you can use the certificate to make it the same value as the other two games ($5 reward certificate applied to transaction with two $10 games and one $15 game would make all three games $10).

TERMINOLOGY AND LINGO:
ASL/SL: Assistant Store Leader, Store Leader; manager positions at GS.
B2G1: Buy two, get one free.
GS: GameStop
JD: Junior detective, an employee who is out to get someone
LP: Loss Prevention; this is the department that actually bans accounts after being flagged.
TC/TiC: Trade credit.
TIV/TV: Trade in value, or what a game currently trades for. When posting a TV for a game, always use the base value.

Does taking $5 off a game over $10 qualify said game for the B4F20? Or, does the $5 take off only the cheapest of the four games?

It takes off $5 from one of the four games. I believe the employee decides which one. In order to get the full $5 off, it has to be applied to a game $5 or over. So if you are using B4F20, one of the four games will be essentially $0, and the other three will be around $4.99.

So essentially no eligibility towards that one game over $10, but the usage is merely dropping $20 to $15 for the B4F20 under $10 games strictly.

I'm sorry, I just understood the question. I think its YMMV, you might need an override from the employee if you are nice about it. I believe the promo triggers automatically as long as all four games are $9.99 and under. If you use a coupon to bring one of the games down to $9.99, I'm not sure if it will work without an override.

Rookie question: If I cancel an online preorder, does the trade credit immediately return to the card? I found another GameStop gift card that I forgot to use on a purchase. Thanks!

I think trade credit (can't verify if GCs work the same way) isn't deducted from the card for online preorders until they ship--I used trade credit when I preordered two copies of DQ3 HD-2D at $50 each (only way to get free shipping and there were no other preorders I wanted) and made a note of that card's "true" balance (in case it wasn't charged right away). I canceled the preorder later when I was able to get a $40 copy through Target's B2G1 cancellation technique and confirmed (both right away and through an in-store purchase within the next 1-2 days) that the balance on the card was higher than the "true" balance I noted.

Dammit; I totally forgot about the 25 percent off coupon. And I won't be able to make it to a store today.

Maybe I can look online and find something in stock nearby that I want.

Mine was valid through 8/10, so you probably have a couple more days unless your expiration differs.
I ended up stacking it with the monthly $5 to make Paper Mario TTYD $37ish.

My coupons say expire:
Website 8/10
App 8/9

Says In-store only and I also live in CA (closing hour?)

So what conditions do I trust?

FWIW, my 25% off offer did not show on the POS, but it was available on the app still. They scanned it and it still worked earlier today. I was also able to combine it with a $25 cert.

I did too but then realized it was a dumb idea after I got home. The cert gets applied first and then the discount. I bought Last of Us Part I, $45, minus $25 cert, and then the 25% off applied ($45-$25 = 20 * 25% off = $5 off). I didn't think of it at the time and only realize when I got home.

Was able to use my 30% trade coupon today. The cashier tried to tell me it was expired (expires 8/10) so I said doesn't that mean it'd be at the end of today? So they said they'd try it and of course it worked. Used all of the credit towards PSN cards.

After all the bumps Super Mario Wonder alone got me $45.90. Was pretty impressed with the values. They might have applied an extra bonus or something lol.

interesting, i would guess that stacked with the extra 10% going on this week, so you ended up with 30% from the coupon, 10% pro and 10% extra. though i don't know where the extra 90 cents came from.

Deadpool for PS4 and XB1 both got a price jump from $50 to $70. Thought it would happen sooner after the latest movie released. The PS4 version in particular is going for well over $100 on secondary markets so I'm guessing that one will get another price jump in the near future.

Depends if Disney doesn't intervene in Reynold's vision for Deadpool again or if he even plans to commit to Deadpool 4.

Do you think the xbox version will drop if it releases on game pass ?
