Any reason my Steam Library went down by one but yet my profile stayed the same number it was yesterday?
Probably this:

"The "Company of Heroes 2 Beta" was counting towards everyone's game count. This has been fixed, but that means your game count on your profile may be 1 lower than it was earlier today. "

Edit: Squirrel'd!

I finally swallowed my pride and lowered my Triple Town foil card to $4.99 list price, they just weren't selling at $8+ at all and I figured it can only get worse once the beta is over. It sold a few hours later, made $4.35 on it, I think it's the best I could have expected.

Me too! ><
I got 2 of those and one of the even less valuable card, My Name is Azra. The cards dropped in value so quickly. It's only going to get worse once the beta ends. Yes, the demand will likely go up, but as will the supply. Cards will be commonplace among Steam.

so should I get it now or wait for a bundle? Final opinion before I pull the trigger on yet another TD game.

If you like the genre(s) and you'll play it now I'd say pick it up. Don't pick it up expecting the cards to offset the cost much, most of them have crashed to the $0.40-$0.50 cent range since it went on sale this morning.

EDIT: Finally sold my last Revenant card - $0.35

well I just got Go Home Dinosaurs, and have a ton of other TD games to play, so it isn't as if I'm dying for another. I do love the genre, but this feels like bundle material. Basically was wondering about the cards, which sound less than amazing. $3.50ish isn't terrible, but with the summer seal coming I'm kinda wanting to save my card cash :whistle2:k

Yeah I think it's a sign of things to come when the trading cards leave beta, then the summer sale happens so even more people get the games with cards for cheap. Literally within 20 minutes of the game going on sale the card prices went from $1.15-$1.40 each to about $0.70 each, now they're even cheaper than that.

Gamestop via impulsive driven has Fear 1 for 2.49, fear for 2.49, and fear 3 for 4.99 in case anyone really wants them.  Better then steams price if you buy the bundle, or coincidenally, single buying is cheaper then gamestops 14.99 bundle.

Casuals and affluents are the only ones who drop $20 to $50 for games on or near release day. If cards become universal, they'll have that realm to themselves. No CAGs allowed.

Looking ahead, I expect more than just previously bundled and considerably discounted indies to feature cards. If pricey games begin to include cards with preorders and full-price purchases, sssshhhhheeeiiiiiitttttt...

For what it's worth I made bout $1.50 back from selling the cards, and I find the game fun. It has a bit of charm I feel. Normally I don't go to much for TD games, but this one I actually have been playing vs just idling for cards. Take from that what you will.

Vince Carter, party starter.

Defender's Quest is almost at my buy price of 75% off, but I'll pass.  The cards won't offset much and I still have Go Home Dinos and Tower Wars to finish.

I would buy Lara Croft GoL and play the shit out of it right now

Unfortunately, this hot weather is overheating my graphics card.
Move your computer indoors.

GabeN money is making people crazy
This is why the cards are so insidious. People will see a mediocre discount and go... well... I mean I have this free card money so... might as well.

I tried the demo.  It's not bad, just nothing I haven't seen in some iteration or another many times before.  It does lend credence to my card theory about the summer sale.  Expect lowers discounts (although that's been happening each year) as people will spend more freely with their card money.

Man, I saw you buy it and my heart sank.  You've changed, bro.  Also, what's up with the prices in the OP?  Think someone's in a different region.  Fear 3 is $5 in the US.  Galaxy on Fire $10.

I enjoyed Defender's Quest more than either Dinos or Tower Wars; it just gives you so much more to do. Dinos I'll definitely go back to, but I'm kind of indifferent to Tower Wars. I'm only bringing it up lest anyone feel DQ doesn't deserve a spot in their TD gamelist because they've already got the other two.

Defender's Quest is bundle fodder. What happened to you guys?!??!
You're probably correct. Keeping that in mind, the fact that DQ is not quite at 75% off, and the fact that the Steam Sale is coming up, it could be prudent to hold off.

You want to hear something really fuckin' crazy?

I got tired of trying to sell my Defender's Quest cards on the market and just crafted the badge.

On a side note, Bethesda games make me nauseous. I can't play Dishonored for more than an hour without my stomach hurting and breaking out in a cold sweat. Sucks because I actually like the game. The reason I could handle the Fallout games is the ability to switch to 3rd person every once in awhile.
See this very long-winded post of mine about motion sickness, what FOV is, adjusting FOV's, etc etc :

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/301469-amazon-pcdd-indie-store-launch-new-indie-bundles-deal-of-the-week/?p=10550469

PC gamers are likely used to 90+ for FOV settings. So, you might want to crank it up - especially if you have a higher-end PC.

Thing is - when you go higher and higher on FOV, the more and more you have a chance of noticing the game's camera get more of a fish-eyed kind of effect. So, if you have that, notice it, and don't like it - you might want to dial it downwards until you find something reasonable.

EDIT:

Ashes mentioned in this post that you switching to 3rd person camera (if game has that option) and turn off head-bob (if that setting exists in the CFG/INI or in-game settings/options) in a game can help those who deal w/ motion sickness:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/301469-amazon-pcdd-indie-store-launch-new-indie-bundles-deal-of-the-week/?p=10550778

EDIT 2:

See this post for messing w/ INI's, CFG's, Tweak Guides and whatnot - if you have FO3 + New Vegas:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/301469-amazon-pcdd-indie-store-launch-new-indie-bundles-deal-of-the-week/?p=10550884

EDIT 3:

Here's a post from Destructoid on messing w/ the FOV in Dishonored:

http://www.destructoid.com/here-s-how-to-customize-dishonored-s-fov-even-more-236377.phtml

Well done son. You've started on the road to a better life.
