They did the giveaway for PA 3 to promote the launching of PA 4, I doubt they will give away their current game that easily unless something crops up.

Actually that gives me an idea of how to trade steam wallet balance. If Ys doesn't win I could work something out with someone who has an extra steam gift.

If you didn't like the first, then there's no reason you'll like the second. It's just more of the same. I do like my Siren head that I won, but it wouldn't be worth suffering through a game I didn't like.

Super Street Fighter 2 is but one of several reasons I keep my 3DO hooked up to the TV.

I bought the game and DLC simultaneously, so I didn't even realize the Teleporter stuff wasn't part of the base game. I actually rather enjoyed that part and the puzzles were excellent.

So, it seems Ys Origin won't be on sale during this sale. Ys I & II is so old school (and seems to be the most difficult), I don't know if I'll like it.
 
Vote for Ys, maybe all games will get a discount.

Whoever votes for Precipice 4 is wasting a vote since it's in the Humble Weekly. :(

You would have to pay $6 to get Precipice 4 from the Humble Weekly. The better argument against voting for it is the fact that it was already a flash sale. But then again Ys was already on sale too.

I would like to purchase Ys this time around but if Precipice 4 wins I might buy it since it did miss the flash sale.

Oh well, we all know Wanderlust will probably win because nobody wants that.

If the Penny Arcade Dudebros were the only ones with vested interest in the sales, this would be a consideration, but they're not the ones who poured hundreds of hours into coding the game. The dev team might feel differently.

Except they were paid for their work no? Or did they just license the IP and do whatever they want?

 
Actually travathian, I don't really know. The way PA discussed the change of developers way back when, it sounded like Zeboyd would be calling the shots, but with PA themselves acting as publisher, it's possible they were just paid a flat amount and over and done with.

Ugh, I really hate Uplay.  I exited Fary Cry: BD, but left the Uplay Launcher up overnight.  However, somehow Steam thinks that because I had the Launcher up, I was still playing Far Cry: BD.  So now my playtime's all out of whack, which probably shouldn't bother me, but it does.

Just do "first long time cag member to quote this post for this game" gets the key... or do some kind of fun game like first one to guess the riddle. I much rather enjoy being the first to quote gets the key because well, I suck at riddles. :)

yup this happened to me.... I have like 10 hours logged on Far Cry: BD and I haven't even advanced much further than right after the tutorial section.... yikes I read all the Uplay hate but now I get it.... I had to go to Task Manager to get Uplay to stop running.

Deadly Premonition.... is the game still bugged to shit even on the PC? I never played the console version either.

I never get enough responses to justify asking for PMs. Took me two weeks to give away all of my Hacker Evolution Duality codes, and that is one of the greatest games in the history of everything.

Steam counted me as playing Nether while the game was installing/decompressing/blah blah blah. I had an hour of playtime before I even started the game.

The jokes start to repeat fairly quickly, but I don't think there's anyway you don't get $1's enjoyment out of Poker Night 2. It has some good lines in there. I thought Fake Ash did an OK Real Ash.

I voted for Pool Nation on the community vote but it lost out to I think Snow or World of Goo I forget... so there's still hope it can end up in a flash sale.
