Steam usually has week-long deals that change on Mondays at 6PM UTC. They mostly feature indie games, and may not run every week.

Sale summary lists:

Key:
⤷ indicates DLC, — specifies part of a pack, + shows alternative versions, ⚠ highlights things worth knowing, ♫ is obvious, and ... denotes a multi-pack.

Steam deals on other stores: (Related threads on CAG.)

Indie* bundle threads: (*Not always indie, nor always a bundle.)

Free stuff:
There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

If you give the key to me I'll play it and describe it to you as if it were a visual novel or some sort of turn based strategy game. Your preference.
Sweet. I need you to describe it to me like a visual novel. With horny high school girls and a dreamy male teacher. And I want a pet panda or something.

I have a Thief 2014 key. Nobody wants it. I would want to play it, but first-person games make me motion sick. Didn't they think about me when designing the game? Nooooo.
My uncle (My dad is the oldest of 6 so this uncle is close to my age) has the same issue. Horrible to have to deal with that in this era of gaming so you have my sympathy*.

* I occasional have the issue if the camera has a horrible camera so I know how it is.

Anyhow, hopefully someone does a third person mode for the game... It looks like it wouldn't be impossible based upon the gameplay I've watched.

There's a thief lurking in the girls' dorm and he's been stealing the regular towels from the showers and replacing them with small towels that are only large enough to hide the important bits, but just barely.

Randy Pitchford's gone fekkin wacko. As if I didn't have enough reasons to hate Gearbox already...

Instead of going to 3D Realms and telling them "guys, we have the rights, we didn't approve this..." nope, LAWSUIT LAWSUIT LAWSUIT. It's like they want more money for "finishing up" Duke Forever... guess they need another company to milk money from now that Sega's pretty much cut ties with them. :p

Wait... So you honestly think you have to remind people that they sold the IP to you...?

So if I sell my car... I can just go and borrow it? Sell my house... Show up and watch the cable, take a shower, etc?

I have to agree with the inmate here. If you own an IP you really shouldn't need to be reminding anyone about it. Lawsuits do get abused sometimes, but it is the proper and respectable venue to sort these sort of grievances out. Plus, we don't know that they didn't try to talk about it and couldn't come to any resolution.

Edit:

And reading the article it clearly shows they sent a Cease and Desist letter prior to filing any suit so they did say "Hey guys, we own the iP, don't do this." Seems like 3DRealms is the company with the problem/lack of ethics.

Indie Haven has a longer article (and apology) from the Zombies dev over his recent decisions concerning Steam keys:

Dev Blog: Steam Keys for Corporate Lifestyle Simulator
fixed that for him..

I value the support of my fans and thought I had been pretty vocal about that, but perhaps I haven’t said it enough. I’m not hiding behind any corporate brand – this is my personal identity that I’m working with. It’s a shame that its tarnished because of being a greedy traitorous asshole.misunderstanding, but perhaps that’s just the breaks of being a developer.

You know the takeaway I get from that? Don't post shit when you're angry.

Not that I, ahem, would have any first hand experience with that.

Seriously though, I think he should have done a 'let's talk about this here: <link>' or something if he really wanted a dialog and feedback. Also he really made no attempt to separate out the original game vs the extra content which is something that can be done and has been done a number of times. And really, it's the internet. Shit blows out of proportion all the time and a site based around 160 character messages is probably not a place to carry on a dialog, particularly when you're obviously upset and have very little skills handling the public.

If they sent a C&D then yes, they should sue.

But I mostly meant one CEO calling the other, respectfully. Or something.

I just keep hearing that great Doobie Brothers song, "Takin' It to the Tweets"!

Does anyone actually buy from the Humble Store (not bundle)? I feel like their 'deals' are about as good as Gamersgate's, which is to say 95% of the time not.

Plus just seeing a game on there makes me immediately think 'Oh they'll put it in one of their bundles someday' and while I know the same could be said for a game being sold anywhere, it just seems that much more likely to me to see Humbles name attached to it.

They don't have an agreement because they choose not to have one.
No argument there. I'm just saying that I'm glad that they've made this clear rather than letting potential bundle buyers assume that they'd just naturally get keys if the games make it onto Steam.

I haven't, and I feel/think the same way on both points.

Once I hit a thousand owned steam titles, then I will deal only with the titles that most interest me.
Yeah, I said the same thing. It doesn't work that way.

Not directed at you, Tebow. I'm just using your post as a starting point.

Everyone needs to take a step back from the Gearbox backlash for just a moment. It tends to cloud the mind.

Recall:

1. Gearbox took over Duke Nukem Forever development after 2K lost confidence in 3DR's (who was on the brink of bankruptcy) fantastically poor handling of the DNF development. Gearbox bought the Duke IP, finished DNF, and put it out there.

Duke was over-sold to the public by Randy Pitchford. They were fairly honest about simply finishing what was already done, but not about the overall quality. But honestly, did anyone really think a game that had gone through that storied mess would not have problems? And can you blame them for trying to put a positive spin on it? Still... that game had buyer-beware written all over it. +/-

2. Aliens: Colonial Marines was a horrible mess. Though Gearbox didn't develop it, they were ultimately responsible, along with SEGA for the product. -

3. Borderlands and Brothers in Arms are both well-regarded series that Gearbox developed. +

4. In the infancy of the studio, they developed some very well-regarded games (Half Life: Opposing Force) and some that were just average (mostly ports of games from other developers). +

So look... good and bad. I get the anger over A:CM, but move on. It's not healthy. And it's clearly frying brains. Don't buy into every Gearbox hate-blog you read, and repeating it makes you appear uninformed.

I've bought from the Humble Store a couple/few times... when their prices were parity with proper sale price... advantage being: drm-free version (+steam) / charity / they had the sale when I was ready to buy.

In fairness.  SRIV (DLC for sure) was only 60% off on the Steam Winter Sale..

I bought Guacamelee and the You Don't Know Jack bundle from them last year. (I think they were the first to have Guac at 75% off.) If Humble and some other place have the same price for something, I'd rather get it from Humble since there's usually a DRM-free download and maybe a soundtrack. Even if I'll never use the DRM-free or listen to the soundtrack, it's still nice to have.

Correct. They were the first with 75% Guacamelee (I was waiting for that). And the $5 YDKJ was nice.

I feel like they were maybe trying a little bit when they were competing with the Steam winter sale. But since then I see their prices and go 'Really? Why bother?'.

Well I wasn't really doing this 4 for February thing, but it actually turned out that I did finish several games this month (even though some of them were started prior).

Angry Birds Space - it's a good port, and it works surprisingly well on a big screen. I liked it and would like to see the others make their way to Steam. It's good mindless fun, though some will undoubtedly poo-poo the very existence of this game.
The Plan - more of an experience than a game. A very short (though pleasant) experience. Thankfully it is also a free experience.
Lily Looking Through - It looked nice, but the puzzles were a little disjointed for my tastes. The ending makes no sense, so those adventure gamers looking for a story will be disappointed.
Go Home Dinosaurs! - A charming and easy Tower Defense game. It would appeal to the non-hardcore crowd, imo.
Fairy Bloom Freesia - a weirdish fighting game. It would definitely have been better if there were a greater variety of enemies, but the fighting was satisfying and the upgrade paths were nice (though a bit overdone and obscure).
Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara - a port of the classic arcade game. The fighting mechanics are a bit clunky and they haven't aged as well as I would have hoped, but it is a reasonably good brawler and the RPG aspects and branching pathways were nice.

This. Now imagine you pre-ordered it for $15. Yeah, I know. I'm an idiot. :(

I don't even know what this Four in February thing is all about, but somehow I did manage to finish 4 this month.

Broken Age Act 1 - I've commented on this game before already, and I know some people shake their head in disapproval toward Double Fine and all that they stand for.  For whatever reason, I really enjoyed Broken Age, even if its "puzzles" were quite simple.  I found the voice acting and music to be superb, the jokes hit much more often than they missed, and the story was pretty good.  Gameplay wise, I enjoyed Shay's arc as it was more tight knit than Vella's, but I admit the latter had some great moments as well.  Either way, the act ended in a way that was satisfying and yet made me eager to play the next act.  I give Broken Age 4 sacrificial maidens dressed in cupcake gowns out of 5.

10,000,000 - Puzzle RPGs have been done to death, but Puzzle Roguelike is not a genre I thought I'd enjoy.  Thankfully I was wrong, and I found myself sitting at my computer way too much clicking at a match-3-like so that I could upgrade my skills and brewery.  Definitely looking forward to the free expansion!!  I give this game 7,500,000 out of 10,000,000.

Redshirt - Given that I generally despise social media and I deleted my Facebook account, I'm not sure why I played this Facebook-in-Space sim.  I'm not even sure I'm glad I did, even though I played enough to beat it with two different endings.  Though Redshirt started with some promise, it devolved rather quickly into a transparent reveal of base mechanics and little soul.  That might be the developer's intent behind this message, but I found it a bit too heavy handed for my taste, even if I may agree with the sentiment.  I give Redshirt 5 Spacebook Likes out of 10.

Luxuria Superbia - I wrote briefly about this "game" a few days ago, but I'm still not sure what to think after some time to reminisce.  Overall, I found the experience interesting but bland, and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.  I give Luxuria Superbia 1 embarrassed frown out of 10.

Bonus: Is it sad that the most fun I had this month was with a console game?  I can't stop playing Resogun, so help me Gabe.  9.5 humans saved out of 10.
