Looks like I will be stopping by Target on my way home today. I had been waiting on the disc release for DuckTales Remastered. An exclusive pin and the buy-two-get-one free deal is perfect. I don't tend to return games though, so I'm going to have to find two other $20 games that I want. That won't be easy. I already picked over Target's selection earlier in the week. There aren't many $20 games that I would still want. The Wii U retail release just came out today with an exclusive disney pin at target. When combined with the B2G1 this week you can get it for just under $14 after buying it with 2 different $20 games and then returning said games. I mentioned it becuase its cheaper than the digital download, you get a pin, and an actual disc. I was waiting for a sale on the DD but this is 10x better in my opinion.
But still no info about the fact that Nintendo ties all digital purchases to consoles, rather than accounts (so if your console breaks or is stolen/lost, you're screwed). Too little, too late, as usual.
Just pointing it out, Nintendo should have tied digital purchases to accounts years ago, and here they are, still isn't done. Why do you get so upset when people point these things out? Take a chill pill dude. Why thedo you care? Does this news affect you in any way?
Are those the ones with the sleeve for the original CC? My Walmart had those on clearance at least four years ago.I really wish that Wii Points were applicable to the eShop. My local Walmart has had a ton of the 2000 Point/Classic controller sleeve combos on clearance for $10 for months now.
Yeah. They are dusty as hell, so I'm sure they were lost in the back for quite some time. Are those the ones with the sleeve for the original CC? My Walmart had those on clearance at least four years ago.
Very wishful thinking. For this to be the case, Nintendo would have had to come to Amazon absolutely begging because they need Amazon more than Amazon needs them - especially with Wii U hardware.Call it wishful thinking, but I think Amazon has some BF deals planned with Nintendo.

Suggest reading comprehension lessons.Cool, could you provide us with notes from the past meeting between Amazon and Nintendo, since you were there?
My my, aren't you chipper today? I like how you know things but provide absolutely no proof to back up your claims.Suggest reading comprehension lessons.
You are so sure of what happened that I assumed you were there. You're obviously a high-up at Nintendo since you always seem to have the inside scoop. I just wanted to see your notes so I can throw my Wii U in the trash, since the only comprehensible way Amazon is selling Nintendo's bundles is that they MUST have begged them. Making money just doesn't make sense, so it had to be begging.Suggest reading comprehension lessons.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them put out a game or two to test the waters.Probably going to put their 3DS apps on mobile, like the Pokedex or their game clocks. Whatever they do, it will be in support of the WiiU and 3DS. I highly doubt we will see, say, Super Mario Bros. being distributed by them.
Perhaps they will use this to develop an app for the Pokemon TCG or PokeBank?
And technically, they have gone mobile, as they do have some mobile apps already.
To be fair, that was a broken clock prediction, you've been saying that since after the underwhelming 2012 holiday season, you were bound to be right eventually on that one.IIRC there was no way in hell they would lower the price then 2 or 3 weeks later they announce a price cut. In Nintendo we trust.
And to be more fair, he predicted a more than $100 price cut when most of us were saying $50 would be about right. And it was $50.Billytwoshoes said:To be fair, that was a broken clock prediction, you've been saying that since after the underwhelming 2012 holiday season, you were bound to be right eventually on that one.
Yeah well I was wrong, happy now?! My new prediction based on their last quarterly filing, if they sell less than 1 million Wii U's this holiday, the console is discontinued sometime next year. And to be more fair, he predicted a more than $100 price cut when most of us were saying $50 would be about right. Define...."discounted".....because yes there will be a shitload of sales on it over the next year. I'd wager there will be all kinds of store sales and gift card deals. So the Will U will be discontinued some time next year?
Care to make a bet on that?

I figured it was a play on his bargain-bin/garbage-bin assessment of Nintendo's console (and also Wii U games) with perhaps a sly reference to the condition of most Wii games (ie, shovelware in the bargain bin). But I think more likely it was just a typoErad30 said:I'm still trying to figure out who "Bintendo" is...
It's showing up as $20 not $11. At $11 I would totally jump on that, still might. The Nyko U Boost for Wii U on sale from Amazon for $11:

Saw this on slickdeals and I thought it might be helpful for those interested. Really nice accessory in my opinion. It's a battery extender for the Gamepad and doubles as a kickstand which is great for watching videos or for games that use the Gamepad as a menu screen.

Deal is, still, there. Look under "More Buying Choices" and you will see the $10.97 Amazon price. When I first posted it, it was saying it ships Nov.20.It's showing up as $20 not $11. At $11 I would totally jump on that, still might.
EDIT: Nvm, it's out of stock, which is why it is $20.
What channel are you seeing these on?Ive noticed a lot more commercials running for Wii U now and really stressing the point that this is a brand new console and better than the Wii.
I saw one on TBS the other night. What channel are you seeing these on?
