On the 360 I purchased games from Morocco because they were cheaper. But after they changed the currency from MSP to Money I never did it again.

 
After watching the recent Captain Anerica movie and Deadpool again, I wanted to see what games I have that have these Marvel characters. I totally forgot I had Marvel vs Capcom 2 and X-Men Arcade game on 360 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on PS3. I think they delisted MvC2 but luckily it's in the good ol purchase history. No chance these will be BC huh? And since Disney owns Marvel I doubt we'll see another Marvel vs Capcom game...

I'm thinking of picking up the gold version of Advanced Warfare. $24 seems to be a good price for that now, or is it? Any chance of it getting cheaper in the next six months?

The last cod games I played were blops1 and mw2. I'm not in them for mp. The sp is kinda brainless but I find them fun for what they are. Does the sp of advanced warfare measure up?

If they never make another MVC game, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 was a fitting end to the series. If Disney makes another one, they'll probably screw it up by shoehorning in somebody from Frozen or those annoying teens from their Disney Channel shows. Let the dead rest, I say!

I had to look up what the game was. Seems like a not-as-good, PC version of Titanfall. Even the boxart seems like a rip of Titanfall.

My son LOVES this game, but think the community has fallen off on PC. It's F2P so I will definitely be checking it out.

Also, unlike Titanfall, this is all mechs. This is good news to me.

The waiting part sucks, sure, but if that's what companies are doing at least it means we're getting BC eventually, like with Fallout 3.

I doubt that'll be an issue. That game will sell upwards of ten million copies in the first few weeks alone, so there'll be plenty of players even if the user base ends up split. If anything, I think the player base of the newer game will be affected more, but I can't imagine that a company as shrewd as Activision didn't already take that into account.

Just my personal opinion, but one of the huge appeals of Titanfall for me is the fact that you're not playing as a mech the whole time. You start the game on foot (soldier vs soldier). Then as some players start calling in their Titans, the game shifts to soldier vs Titans. Towards the end game, it becomes Titan vs Titan. The variety forces you to adapt in each phase and makes each game more interesting.

I can't wait for Titanfall 2. That's going to be my shooter this fall (yup, passing on Battlebone and infinite CoD). But will probably try out Hawken just cuz it's free.

Hawken is a good game. It's different enough from Titanfall to make it worthwhile to check out both.

 
I could've sworn I had Final Fight: Double Impact, but it wasn't showing as owned.  Then I remembered I had it on disc - Capcom Digital Collection.  I put it in my x1 and it let me install Final Fight. 

Thought I'd try after finding out you can put the Ultimate Genesis Collection disc in and install the delisted Golden Axe as well as Sonic 1/2/3

Slow down. Nobody said it was free - awp was just referring to the PC version being F2P. The XB1 version might have a different model.

IMO Amiibos were doing best until Nintendo went HUA and decided to reprint all the rare ones. The demand went drastically down hill after that,

 
Hawken is okay, I played for a bit when it first came out (way before Titanfall), but people on PC are some fucking good with M/kb. It was very nice visually, but can't imagine it will do great on consoles, but maybe be worth a look. I thought it was shitloads better than World of Tanks, but I hated that game
 
Why can't I used the xbox credit I have on my account on xbox.com for a 360 game? It only gives me the option to use my credit card they have on file, which I tried to remove over a year ago

You have to make your purchase on your :360: console to be able to use your X-bucks.

Even if it were BC, to buy it on the :xb1: console you still would not be able to use your X-bucks (the :xb1: interface is based on the web interface, so same payment process).

Also, if you don't own a :360: anymore and can't play the game on your :xb1:, what good is the game? :)

The CODs are rarely on sale. I wanted to grab em while they are on sale. Probably the cheapest they will ever be digitally without them going GWG

Plus I have a bunch of xbox credit that expires at the end of this month

I guess my original question stands. If you can't play them why buy them? Do you plan to get another :360: in the future or are you hoping they go BC at some point, or are you just collecting them so the money doesn't go to waste (perfectly legit reason)?

Activision is supposedly on board with the BC. Black Ops 1 was shown back in Nov (I know lol). COD4 has been out since 2007 and this is the first time I can remember it ever being under $20 for digital, I try to avoid the cdkey type sites for console games. Plus I figure the credit was free from a rewards program and expires May 27th, so I have to spend it or lose it.

The irony of all of this, I'm actively trying to sell my basically brand Xbox One right now on CAG and ebay.

Activision onboard with BC? This is the same company that gave us shitty, overpriced ports of the Prototypes instead of authorizing the button be pushed.

I really think it's bad idea to believe any Activision rumors and speculation regarding BC.

seems your out of luck, also cod games do go on sale often, i personally stopped playing those after i bought the war collection since the ww2 games i thought were funner than what they go to know

yah those companies are jerks about it, some companies are good about it but most wont let them go backwards till they decide if they are going to do an hd remake first so people dont buy the cheaper version plus their are probably alot of them that are approved but they have to be tested first before release plus microsoft will stagger them some what especially with e3 coming up

I'm not buying the "HD remaster" unless its $10 on Steam. LIke I said in my last post, I'm giving up on my consoles because I'm moving across country to a smaller place. There's really nothing that isn't on PC that I want until Zelda, and I'll hold onto my WiiU because it plays just about every nintendo game outside of the 3ds(it just got homebrew too yay!).

The big reason I wanted to use my credit was so it wouldn't go to waste, and I share my xbox account with my little cousin who would enjoy the COD games.

I think Amiibo's WERE in the top spot, but DI wasn't far behind. Skylanders seem dead on the peg now and Lego Dimensions, while fun, are already dropping their prices and have 1/2 off sales on a regular basis. Lego has some magic in those plastic bricks, so they may figure out a way to weather the storm in a uniquely lego way. But I think that it's safe to say toys-to-life as a genre and revenue stream are DED dead. Even for Nintendo and with their questionable state at the moment (haters go ahead and hate, Nintendo isn't what it used to be.....and I own a WiiU and multiple 3DS'), that could be a major blow to Nintendo. :fridge:

 
I think amibos will still be profitable even if the NFC is dropped in the NX. Nintendo has the advantage of both adults and children. Adults grew up with them and kids love the wii stuff.

I wish I was financially able to show some love for Nintendo, I don't want to see them ever go away.

That said, Nintendo has been openly telling their investors that every wii/wii u/amibos, they make money. I never have touched toys to life anything, but I thought that stores were still having issues keeping amibos in stock?
