OR... even though it took 4 discs, each disc was single layer instead of double, which is 4.7GB a disc + a few additional files?

Card came in the mail this past afternoon. While it's an entirely different language (no idea which), the code seems to work.

I'm glad I took the plunge. I can't wholeheartedly recommend these guys because of the number of bad reviews they already have and the fact that my card is obviously foreign, but I'll give them credit for it being what was advertised and getting it to me so quickly (they beat the shipping estimate by 1 day, and that was at the "free shipping" speed).

I beat the game a couple of years ago. It's a fun puzzle game with artsy graphics and a very likely BC candidate (they're not going to bother remastering a game like this). Easily worth $2.

Gun is really underrated, I recommend playing that first because while it's not as good as ME, it's still pretty good and even 100%ing it doesn't take that long. Game never overstays its welcome.

I have had 3 pre-3.5mm jack controllers so far.

1st one had a stuck A button, got rid of it.

2nd one has a garbage right bumper.

And the 3rd one has a squeaky right trigger with some rumble issues, but it's by far the best of the 3.

I haven't played with any 3.5mm jack controllers, but I hear they are far better.

I wouldn't say it was odd other than the fact that it's an EA published game. The rest of it fits Gearbox perfectly, it's a game that be can cheaply and lazily remade with a big spotlight on the humour. Hopefully they leave the script/VA work alone unlike what they did with Duke.

You're wrong in the sense that anyone on your home Xbox can use content you've purchased at the same time as you using it on another Xbox while signed into your own account. This is what makes dual-boxing possible for achievement hunters/gamesharers, an unintentional bonus of digital over physical. You can even triplebox now with BC titles (home Xbone, home 360 and alternate 360 or Xbone).

The person who sold it to you either a) never owned an Xbox again so it remained their home Xbox or b) never bothered to change their home Xbox

They're releasing a remake of Duke Nukem 3D in a few days, supposedly Gearbox added more dialogue voiced by the original VA. Given their track record of "humour" post Borderlands 1, I have a feeling I'm not going to be a fan. With the flavour of dialogue present in Bulletstorm (which has its lovers and haters), I'd also prefer that not be touched.

They were buying a PS4 and done w/ Xbox, at least that was their rationale for the sale. So yes, it remained their home console and the content is still accessible to me now. I knew that's how it works (one primary vs the way the PS3 lets you have licenses on two consoles with essentially no restrictions - I gameshared all of Destiny + expansions w/ a friend no problem).

 
it seems you must be connected to live to play DLC for backwards compatible games which is inline with how it worked on 360, interesting it never changed

Since one of the first things you do when you plug in a new console is log in/create a profile, I think some people don't realize that the account is for more than that specific console. I see a lot of used consoles listing digital games with no awareness that those are tied to their account rather than the console itself, so that was my interpretation.

Xcom has only been out a few days and it's already completely wrecking my life. I spent like half the night customizing soldiers by sub-class (Gunslingers = gray armor w/ boonie hat, Snipers = white w/ loose boonie, Stealth assault = dark red w/ baseball cap, Blademaster = fire engine red w/ backwards cap, Rookies = pink w/ ski masks, etc). Then I got sucked into a evac mission that just kept sending more reinforcements. I ended up with 106 kills, with the piles of bodies so deep they were causing the game to run like it did on my stone age PC... ;)

You're wrong in the sense that anyone on your home Xbox can use content you've purchased at the same time as you using it on another Xbox while signed into your own account. This is what makes dual-boxing possible for achievement hunters/gamesharers, an unintentional bonus of digital over physical. You can even triplebox now with BC titles (home Xbone, home 360 and alternate 360 or Xbone).

The person who sold it to you either a) never owned an Xbox again so it remained their home Xbox or b) never bothered to change their home Xbox

Still salty I didn't grab it before the price hike. I'm really hoping that Phil will stick to what he said in April and make it available digitally, in which case I am going to pray it goes cheap or GWG.

On the bright side, Blue Dragon is next and I already have that covered.

+1 to waiting for another $5 digital sale on Toy Story 3 as opposed to buying it from GameStop.

I still wonder WHY it was never made available digitally, "Lost Odyssey", same with "Blue Dragon".

I hope that besides "Blue Dragon" we get "Infinite Undiscovery" and "Project Sylpheed" then I care a LITTLE less about backwards compatibility after that given all the aforementioned titles are XBox 360 exclusive, not even PC releases.

Speaking of digital not being available though, wtf is "Guwange"?!

50/50. As much as EA stripped the sequel of RPG/customization, there was still a great story where you bonded with your characters. I'll never forget that last run where a certain character I grew especially attached to just took a permanent dirt nap....I yelped out loud and turned the system the right fuck off. Time to reload and try that last checkpoint again

That's pretty awesome and will make me re-up my Prime after I let it lapse last month. Does it mean that you can sub to one channel a month or you get an additional one each month?

 
The Goliath race in Horizon 3 is a ridiculously fast was to level up and get skill points. Was home sick from work today so did two 10 lap races at separate times, each lap is around 12:30 at my fastest s1 time, so it's about 2 hours and 10 minutes a race. After the first race I went up 38 levels and got 84 skill points, and after the second race I leveled up 38 times and got 105 skill points. In using the HE skills BMW for my runs cause it's pretty fast and I love the car. After all my wheelspins I ended up with ever HE car in the game. I started the day level 69, now I am 172

Now that they have multi-disc 360 games working on BC, I wonder what prevents them from working on 360? If Lost Odyssey downloads one giant file that runs seamlessly, surely the 360 could handle this too? My guess is they won't simply because they're focusing on the X1 now... but it sure would be nice to see official XBL releases of ME2/3 and others.
