Started playing at little bit of Ghost Recon Wildlands last night (Got the gold bundle as part of my X1S bundle) and it's pretty addictive. I can see the need (or want) to play with others. If anyone is still playing and wants to co op a little I'm usually playing around 11pm eastern.

119 hrs in on mass effect andromeda and wow just wow this game is that good.Yes it was ballz at launch but the devs have fixed most problems and EVERYONE needs to play this game.Lastly give me a great sale tonight I need to add to the digital backlog.

I'm only about 3-4 hours in and i'm really enjoying it. I know I haven't played enough to give a qualified assessment, but my initial impression is that either a lot of stuff was fixed or the negativity was overblown. I came late to Mass Effect 3 and felt the same way, though. I wasn't a fan of the ending(s), but I definitely enjoyed the game. My enjoyment of Andromeda so far makes me sad that Mass Effect is seemingly getting shelved indefinitely. Of course, ask me a week from now and perhaps i'll feel differently...

 
I am amazed at how many people here couldn't recognize prime rib.... What are you guys doing with the money you save buying cheap ass games?

I think it means more money to spend on cheap games than more money to spend on other things, at least for me.

Which is why I've taken a break from buying games I'm interested in, there have been two or three games I've passed on in the last couple of weeks that are at price points that interest me. I really would like FH3 and the season pass, but I'm going to pass since I have way too many games in my backlog including the large number of driving games that have been GWG. They may not be FH3 but maybe FH can distract me. I'm going to try my best to only work on backlog games until the fall rush of new games I want to buy.

I was really turned off from the jump... the presentation felt lackluster, the premise didn't grab my attention.... then

when you finally get through the beginning, on the planet - beforehand they keep talking about their code of conduct or w.e and how you can't shoot the aliens or something, but then it just turns into a typical shooter game. I was hoping to talk to the aliens, maybe have it escalate into something crazy, but nope, typical bad guy aliens, typical kill all the aliens... I tried to push through a bit longer but just thought it was too stupid and predictable, all the characters felt really generic. It felt ridiculously uninspired. If it somehow gets way better let me know and I may give it another shot eventually, but man that first couple hours was some of the worst Mass Effect I've ever played.

Oh mobile so sorry for double post. Yeah I think a lot of people didn't get that far sadly. I believe the negatives were overblown and the whole consensus that it would be ME4 didn't help. It's not ME4, it's ME: Andromeda, a great exploring/combat and story entry in the series. Maybe not as good as the trilogy but it's on a whole new area. The multiplayer is just as good or better than the series multiplayer too imo.
 
So has anyone tried The Culling yet?

Wanting to play Player Unknown Battlegrounds on consoles but obviously am waiting. The Culling seems at least like a similar vibe to hold me off?

Does it not get repetitive after a while? I visited 3-4 planets and a lot of the quests were all to similar that i got bored with it. Specially the storming of the enemies bases. Got old quick.

I didn't feel the game was bad.... it just wasn't good. It felt run of the mill and didn't have a big enough budget to secure the blockbuster feel from the first 3 games. It's fantastic for only costing 40 million to make, but I felt underwhelmed when comparing it to the rest of the series. Combat was improved but too easy. I felt like a Skyrim God at way too early of a level.

As for multiplayer, due to better combat it feels better, but just pray you have a good connection. If you lag you die(true of almost all multiplayer games). The lack of special event weekends post launch really hurt it too. I don't have a single person on my friends list still playing it.

I'd give it a 5/10 at launch, and a 6/10 post patches currently. I pray some single player content comes out to boosts that score for me.

 
I have zero faith in tonight's Date Night.

Last week - during the hoopla of E3 - would've been the time to bring the good sales.

Now - with the whole of the industry in a collective hangover a week later - I think its Rockstar & NBA 2K time.

Ever so slightly did It get repetitive but play the game on hardcore or even insanity and then you'll enjoy it that much more.Reason being because on harder difficulty you are actually being tested in your tactician skills and feel satisfied when overcoming a hard wave of fight' in the game.Compared to easy or normal mode where you could plow through most enemies with minimal to no effort.
