Already bought all the Fallout: NV DLC and already own all the MK DLC. Dammit Deals, don't put something up that I have to buy for the new deal of the day today. DON'T YOU DARE!
Regarding tomorrow's deal, well.... I was casually browsing around some Mortal Kombat DLC and noticed that the season pass is down to 600 MS points. Could it be?...
Weird. xbldb.com just found this a bit ago. I wonder when it went live and what it means. Could it be a permanent price reduction?

In trying to find out what all comes with it, I saw an article about a listing for a komplete edition in feb. could be why this is getting discount. Was about to grab it but ill wait for the later krap.

Edit: outed in uk, not confirmed for u.s. release but, c'mon there's dollas to be had
I wonder why they dropped the XBLA game/DLC thing they did last year where a game and a series' dlc was on sale on the same day.
Based on tonight's new offering, I've got good news and bad news for you...

Good catch. My guess is that the Day 4 deal is some type of fighting game deal, maybe more will be added...

Also, interesting timing on the last 2 day's deals. Probably coincidence, but who knows:

Fallout 3 and most NV DLC - 18:26
Lonesome Road - 21:13

Deadliest Warrior & DLC - 18:26
Mortal Kombat DLC - 21:15

I know these are just the times when Spylon's scanner catches the deal, so maybe it's just the times when his scanner runs.

crap I was hoping they would have a sale on RE4 and RE Codename Veronica plus a sale on Crysis but I guess that's not going to happen GIVE US WHAT WE WANT it's not this crap you keep putting on sale over and over again

Ah I knew I shouldn't have bought DW:Legends last month because it was going to go on sale soon. On the bright side it'll possibly have an active online now.

If you're looking to get murdered by me and joan then add the gamertag: sirbradenwalker.

i'm not interested in DLC, infact i'm against it altogether

this is content that should be included with the original game

ironic that self proclaimed cheap ass gamers are willing to pay for it

Well I think the German list can be thrown out, there's a low chance they'd do fighting games back-to-back, but I guess we'll see for sure tomorrow.

What would you guys think are the odds of a Mortal Kombat set coming out with all the dlc?

I think it's unlikely.

I don't have the game yet but I think I should get the dlc at this price.

deadliest warrior? man, i should've bought some street fighters during the capcom sale. these daily sales are weak. bastion, some game that should be coop but isn't. then kinect games and fallout dlc, fallout is already a 50 hour game anyone who wants the dlc is probably hardcore and would likely shell out full price eventually. and deadliest warrior? come on, man. MK OP is pretty legit, even though i don't have it at least that's a decent sale. bought the new renegade ops DLC today tho, RO is nice, if anyone ever wants to play that i'm 'doctor angus md' on live, def need a big party to tackle hardcore mode

I like Deadliest Warrior. It's dumb but fun. Just a shame the whole unlock schema is the worst grind outside of MMOs and Iphone games with IAPs.

Also, I take back my crow eating of Bloodrayne Betrayal. It's back to 100% suck and I'm out 600 pts.

Hmm. I'm considering Deadliest Warrior Legends... how is it compared to the first Deadliest Warrior game? I own and liked the first one, is it worse? better? worth picking up if i already own the other one (too similar or what does it improve on?)

Try the trial.

If you're a history nerd you will absolutely love this this game.

The fighting is just a tad bit better than the first, but the selling point here is having these infamous characters from history.

Local multiplayer is damn fun after a few drinks.

History has nothing to do with Deadliest Warrior. I Learned NOTHING from playing that game besides Spartans with spears are totally cheap. All I know is Deadliest Warrior plays like Bushido Blade and if that doesn't interest you, nothing will.

Those are just the times my scanner runs. I try to predict when changes have happened in the past and scan afterwards. I guess one scan is too early and one scan is too late (~6:00 and ~9:00).

I'll tweak the settings a bit and see what happens.

Deadliest Warrior: Legends? What are the odds? My son downloaded the trial yesterday and played it for quite a while. He was trying to talk me into buying it. I guess I can make that happen now.

I was surprised you bought it in the first place as you still had complaints as you were buying it. That is the thing with these sales, some times we buy stuff we normally wouldn't.

I personally don't care about the old Bloodrayne games and would really like to pick up Betrayal if MS give me my account back before the sale is over. Stupid hackers and stupid MS for such crappy security.

Glad I finally got all the F:NV DLC. :) NV for $15 (back in Feb when I got it - available much cheaper since then!) and all the DLC for $16 - people who are waiting for the $50 complete edition are nuts! :)

I'm not waiting for the $50 complete edition, I'm waiting for the $20 one.

Dang it! I thought I was sane.

My silver account's dashboard has a deal for 2 months for Gold for $2. Too bad the account swapping trick does not work since they changed the dashboard. I would've loved to add a few more months to my gold account.

except that most people waiting for that, will also wait for a sale on that, eventually (and probably not even that long after it releases) it'll be $20-30.
The contents of the MK season pass is just those 4 characters, right? 600 points seems fair for that.
Yeah, it's just the characters. I love MK but I think I'll pass. It just already feels so complete that a few more characters wouldn't add anything for me.

yeah it'll go sub $30 within 6 months of release. I scored NV for $9.99 from BB over the summer (was actually right when I joined CAG:D) but will probably bite on some DLC at its next sale.

I'm debating the Season Pass.... I don't play MK very much at all any more, but I know it'll eventually come back up in the rotation.

It the 4th character in the pack Freddy?

Yep.

All hate aside, I found him to be an enjoyable edition. Were there better choices? Certainly.

for anyone that has had extended time with rock of ages, how is it past the demo portion?

the demo underwhelming even though i loved the concept

glad i nabbed Lonesome Road for $5. That was the last DLC i needed to beat. Sadly, i sold my old 360 with harddrive intact in September, so i have no NV save on my new Slim.

Looks like I'll be going to BB to get a used copy for $12~ and grinding exploits to get me back up to level 40 or so, so i can just finish the last DLC comfortably. The DLC's were really the only segments that gave super awesome loot anyways. I think I was sporting the Survivalist's Rifle, Desert Veteran NCR armor, and the unique .45 when I sold my system...all items of Honest Hearts itself.

I've played the first four levels and it's pretty much the same as the demo. But there's also a skee-ball mode which I really enjoy. No one seems to be playing online, though, so it's not as fun as it could be.

I'd say pretty good.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...s-mortal-kombat-komplete-edition-release-date

The Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will be released on 17th February 2012.

That's according to UK age-ratings body the BBFC, which handed out an 18 certificate this afternoon.

The BBFC only mentioned Xbox 360, and didn't discuss the game's content beyond "contains strong bloody violence".

We presume, however, that Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will be released on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

We also presume it will include all DLC released so far for Mortal Kombat 9, hence the "Komplete" part of the name.

Publisher Warner Bros. was unavailable for comment.

Ya there's time trial mode, skeeball mode (which is kind of weird cuz you can just roll up the hill and make it in the highest # every time) plus the main story mode. It's nothing special, but I'm happy with it for $5.
I'd say pretty good.
Mortal Kombat is like L.A. Noire though, by the time that's out the base game is going to be so cheap that it's going to be a much better deal to just get the base game and the DLC separately than the complete edition.

Yeah, maybe. But I'd always rather get the DLC on disc, as opposed to taking up hard drive space. And I'd rather have a "Komplete" edition in my collection than the vanilla.

grabbed the MK season pass, don't play it much but got a ton of points and it's the kind of game for me that I just play randomly so it's all good.

The way BB is doing it lately, its better to grab the LA Noire Complete Edition. U can grab the vanilla for 10-15 at BB or the Complete today for 20. I think the extra content is on-disc too so that makes the Complete Edition the better decision.

Is New Vegas DLC gonna be on a second disk like FO3 GOTY was? Im not really sure on that.

But I also see what you mean. Ive had New Vegas for about $6 from BBV during their sales and could get the DLC for fairly cheap.
