yes it can i don't think fable games will ever be the same and will be same old same oldIt can't have gone down the tubes after he left IF THEY HAVEN'T MADE ONE SINCE HE LEFT.![]()
Ok those games have come out and in your opinion they've gone downhill so you can say that (which yes I believe that as well) but beforehand you couldn't definitively say they've gone downhill because the games weren't out yet. You say something's gone downhill before you have even played it and that just makes you a jackass.look at halo 4 and modern warfare 3 we knew goinginto both those games they would not be good thanks to the old teams not working on the game and mw3 was god awful and halo 4 well story was pretty bad.
What thei don't think fable games will ever be the same and will be same old same old
You do realize that's a parady account right? It says it right on it. It's not really Kaz.Kaz cracks me up with his tweets.
Also, this was posted a few days ago making some others rumors about possible games:

Well, now I feel like a moron. Wasn't even paying attention. You do realize that's a parady account right? It says it right on it. It's not really Kaz.
That has to be one of those exclusives, right? Or were those 15 exclusives just for Xbox One and not including the 360?And oh my god, if this is one of the "original" games they were mentioning, I don't hold much hope for the rest of the lineup: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/04/harmonix-and-disney-delve-into-fantasia-music-evolved-for-kin/
TBH I don't think many people had faith these would turn out to be stellar games, even the media. The problem is M$ has traditionally let gamers down with these 'exclusives' in the past, so there's a lot of mistrust out there. Contrast to when Sony says a new IP is coming, people know it's going to be something of quality given the studios behind them. Naughty Dog has been just one beacon of that trust. And oh my god, if this is one of the "original" games they were mentioning, I don't hold much hope for the rest of the lineup: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/04/harmonix-and-disney-delve-into-fantasia-music-evolved-for-kin/
Actually, I am rather surprised nobody has made a "conductor sim" game or minigame. Done right, it would be a good teaching tool. And oh my god, if this is one of the "original" games they were mentioning, I don't hold much hope for the rest of the lineup: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/04/harmonix-and-disney-delve-into-fantasia-music-evolved-for-kin/

For some odd reason, this makes me happy..
Don't let Child of Eden, Fruit Ninja Kinect, Kinect Sports, Kinect Party, Kinectimals and Kinect + Nike Training go to the way side, they're good Kinect games. Carry on.You lost me at really good Kinect games. I mean sure there's Dance Central and the Gunstringer, but that's about it as far as decent Kinect titles, much less good ones.
Kinect is almost entirely a kid's thing in my household. I have one and it works fine for the kids games we have. There are almost no games I'm interested in playing on it. I have Fruit Ninja Kinect and we never use it. I couldn't give two shits about "nike training". We have the sports game and haven't played it in maybe 6 or 7 months. Kinect party the kids use....Don't let Child of Eden, Fruit Ninja Kinect, Kinect Sports, Kinect Party, Kinectimals and Kinect + Nike Training go to the way side, they're good Kinect games. I think they would try again. They have enough money they can fail dozens of times. That includes R&D, advertising, and subsidy costs each time. They wouldn't even have to take a loan. The large tech companies have so much cash on hand it's hard to imagine. Clearly they would give up before failing that many times as they are a profits driven company. If they were to fail a couple times in a row they would most likely try to sell off the Xbox division. If Microsoft failed with Xbox One, I doubt there would be another Xbox.

For reference on this, at the current stock price - MS can buy every single share of Sony stock FOUR TIMES.
I knew someone was going to say something about my reference to stock. I'm well aware of the way it works. I actually purchase and own stock. It was for reference only and that's why I was careful int he way I said it. I didn't in any way imply otherwise. To be fair, you CAN buy stock like that over the long term. You just can't make a concerted effort to buy up all the stock in a short time. Believe it or not, it's incredibly common for large funds to buy up to 9 or 10% of a company's stock without the share price having massive spikes. They use computer algorithms to do it and they do it over a long period of time.Buying stock doesn't quite work like that.I think they would try again. And no, I doubt Microsoft would consider it a lucrative business to have what they've wanted for years and have them fall flat on their asses hard trying to do it.
GI points how that the Xbox One has 5GB of GDDR3 ram available to devs, whereas PS4 has 8GB DDR5 ram, and asks if that's a problem for Respawn. He says they're having trouble even using the 5GB efficiently with all the new architecture tricks. (that is to say, even if they had 8GB they wouldn't know how to use it properly at this stage of development)
GI: "What XBox One lacks in RAM, it potentially makes up for in cloud computing." Talks about how the game will have unlimited dedicated servers for the game, offloading "a few dozen AI" and physics, says the game would be impossible without the cloud and wouldn't have attempted it. Still dealing with unfinished hardware and software, so it's "still a little rough going at times."
More info here.- Xbox One, PC
- Xbox 360 version developed by someone else
- Planned to target current gen, but realized that they couldn't run it
- Started to look into next gen and the answer they got from Microsoft intrigued them
- They said they needed to focus on fewer hardware. In the future they are open to more. They don't specify if it would be this project or another.
- Plan to use Microsoft's Cloud for dedicated servers and physics and AI calculations
- Spring 2014 Release Date
- There are a good amount of screens. In my opinion it visually looks pretty nice.
- First person shooter
- "Mech" and ground combat
- "Mech's" are called Titans.
- They want these Titans to feel fast. They can dodge etc.
- If you don't want to pilot the Titan you can have it follow you, killing people as it goes along.
- Player characters are called Pilots
- They are extremely agile. Can run on walls, multiple jumps.
- They can take down Titans. Jumping on them and shooting the "brain".
- You need to be cunning as a pilot. "Hit and fade" tactics is the term the game director uses.
- Pilots come equipped with a variety of weapons. Pistol, Assault Rifle, Anti-Titan Rocket Launcher, data knife used to hack AI characters into joining you.
- There are AI enemies on the maps.
- You survive longer than in COD. Making it more welcoming to newcomers.
- Source Engine. Building new engine = too much time.
- Source gives them 60 fps
- Modified Source - "Rewriting major portions of it".
- Article talks about the process of forming the team, being fired, prototyping ideas etc. I recommend reading it.
- Going for a District 9 or Blade Runner vibe.
- Integrate memorable single player moments into a multiplayer game.
- Storytelling style will be more Left 4 Dead.
- Humans segregated between Earth and frontier planets. Corporation trying to take the resources of these frontier people.
Who cares? There's a PC version. Crack that shit.So what happens to a game that relies on "cloud computing" when the servers are down?
I don't think they are going to go in a new direction because of how successful it has been for many years already. If they can actually manage to do something new with the shooter genre I'll at least be intrigued. I think the last shooter to really get my attention was the original Modern Warfare because at the time it was a new idea.
let's be honest hear unless your a hardcore gamer and read up on gaming news you don't know anything about the xbox always online drm stuff. xbox one will do just fine.If Microsoft failed with Xbox One, I doubt there would be another Xbox.
xbox 360 was even less power full to ps3 then x1 is to ps4 and most companys made games around 360 and then ported it to ps3. I'm not saying that is going to happen this gen but it's possible. It's more easy to port a game to a more power system then it is to port from high end to low end.So what happens to a game that relies on "cloud computing" when the servers are down? All this talk of cloud computing sounds like some pr bs to put out there when the PS4 specs might be better.
Well that's your opinion yet I feel Kinect is for experiences you can't get anywhere else. I play Fruit Ninja on my phone as well but you don't get your full body in the action. The Nike + Training game actually acts as my gym, I've never gone to a monthly subscription gym system in my life. I think it's safe to say Kinect is for families, not just Kinect is for kids. I question if you think most Nintendo games are for kids. Kinect games can really shine giving you something new to experience. It's nice that Child of Eden can be played both ways but using the Kinect it feels fresh again. Having a Kinect with the system off the bat and with its technical improvements I'm hoping we'll see some more progress in this regards with the Xbox One.Kinect is almost entirely a kid's thing in my household. Frankly, it's for kids. That's why most adult gamers find nothing good in it. I suppose Child of Eden could be described less childish but unfortunately that game is really hard. Too hard for me. I couldn't get past the first couple areas.
i think kinect has more upside for feature then ps move for sure. nike + traning game is such a great game my kids love to play it me and my wife uses it. nike + traning is 200 times better then wii fit.Well that's your opinion yet I feel Kinect is for experiences you can't get anywhere else. Yeah, it's just a matter of whether you want those type of experiences. I play games to veg out and relax, so I have no interest in Kinect or motion control stuff in general. I run regularly, and have a gym in my condo building, for getting excercise. When I game I want to veg on the couch with a regular controller.Well that's your opinion yet I feel Kinect is for experiences you can't get anywhere else. It's true that the more inolved gaming fans are the only ones who are going to know or care about the technical details surrounding these systems. The general consumer is only interested in what it will do for them.let's be honest hear unless your a hardcore gamer and read up on gaming news you don't know anything about the xbox always online drm stuff. xbox one will do just fine.

Microsoft cancelled my one-on-one interviews with Xbox executives at E3. Bummer.
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=577741I mentioned the other day that I was hearing rumors of Microsoft throwing around a considerable amount of money to have publishers only show games on the Xbox One during E3. Most people dismissed my admittedly flakey news as 'that's what always happens.'
I've talked to more people since then though and this isn't the usual jostling for publishers on stage that happens at E3. Microsoft is throwing BIG money around to reverse course on idea that they aren't a games console. The rumors are that PS4 versions of multiplats, by those who do take the money, won't be shown AT ALL. Not on stage and not on the show floor.
I don't feel bad for Sony because business is business. I'm sure they will find a way to have a decent show... or they will have to recover afterwards. That's not really my concern.
Now, there's no need to take my word on this if you don't want to. But do keep an eye on E3 next week. With them buying up everything in sight and now potentially cutting an open roundtable out(to assumedly talk one on one with friendly press) and word that finding multiplat games on the ps4 on the show floor will be much harder than anticipated.... just keep an eye on it. Maybe my sources are wrong. But I feel confident enough in this info to share it.
I'm not saying to jump to conclusions. I'm just saying it may be something to keep an eye on.
So am I to understand that the rumor is Microsoft is actively paying publishers not to show any of their multi-platform (Xbox One/PS4) titles at E3? That seems preposterous. If that actually does happen though, E3 will completely lose any shred of credibility. For one publisher/platform to be able to completely buy their way to prominence is ridiculous. From my twitter feed...

So wait...they cancelled their post-conference roundtable, now they are possibly going through and cancelling interviews also?
Ugh.
And apparently someone from the GAF forums who has been right on many occasions when it came to rumors posted this:

You misinterpret it. The rumor is MS is paying big money to ONLY show the XbOne version. The PS4 version will not be there or mentioned. This is to give the impression that the XbOne is a gamer's console and that the PS4 isn't as great as people believe because it "has no games". Basically the rumor is they're trying to deceive people. So am I to understand that the rumor is Microsoft is actively paying publishers not to show any of their multi-platform (Xbox One/PS4) titles at E3?
