This looks to be a coupon all Power up rewards *PRO* members will receive some time in the next few days. It will be valid from 8-30 to 9-2. To be clear you WILL nee to be a PRO member to receive this, this is not the coupon for renewing, merely a coupon going out to ALL pro members, and will be good for the small time period.

It is mentioned in the "Xtra Points" section of the poweruprewards.com website, and a survey can be done regarding your interest in it, although it is not mandatory from what I can tell.

I must be getting old. Had a couple games in hand and was looking for a third, but couldn't find anything that really appealed to me. So rather than just grabbing anything and adding to the dwindling backlog I just decided to put everything down and save my credit.

That's why I panicked and grabbed FF13-2, been trying to find Awakening at a decent price which is shockingly hard and they had both that and DA2 in perfect condition.

 
Yeah I chalked it up to the girl at the desk being an idiot. Cleared out, moved, and upped my credit to Best Buy by flipping two Maddens, three NCAA, two Last of Us, Splinter Cell, and Saint's Row. I've been dealing with complete shit from GS for the past few days over a lost order from Gamestop.com and it seems like I have a better shot at getting a PS4 at Best Buy anyway. Thanks for the help @kickrockz713

I hate that when you get home, look at the condition of the games you bought and realized that you missed the clerk swapping out the pristine case and manual for one that was in the drawer that's all beat up and missing the manual.  :headache:

 
I want to clarify:

You use a birthday coupon on 3 different priced games--does it take it off the highest one or lowest or how does it stack with the b2g1?

you think that's bad, I picked up Injustice yesterday and when I got home to play it (after a shower and eating) I open up the case to see no disc. I seen the dude take it out just don't know how he didn't put it in the case. Ugh I was so damn mad on the drive back there

It takes the 20% off the highest-priced game and only stacks effectively (i.e., isn't wasted) if, after the 20% deduction, there is still a game with a lower price than that of the initially highest-priced game.

For instance, if you bought a $54.99 game with two $34.99 games, the coupon would make the first game $43.99 and one of the two $34.99 games would become free.

That's pretty bad. My worst was getting a 360 version of a game put into a PS3 case.

...or it will make the most expensive game free and you will pay the two lower prices. Some people don't think of that.

The new Bday coupon just posted today stacked with the B2G1 for me (multiple times actually). Got Metro Last Light/Tomb Raider/Dead Island Riptide and the coupon knocked Metro down to the same price as the other two (so $54.xx total for 3 games).

And just a head's up, those games offer a much better return on investment than the $55 used games everyone keeps reporting that they flipped...

That's pretty good. Wish I had noticed the TIV had taken such a nice bump ($5-10 from where they were recently) and were discounted. Too bad the TIV's are probably going to be dead in a few hours but if not I know what I'm doing tomorrow.

 
Coolest promotion ever. I got some great handheld games and I didn't even worry about wasting my chance to get more expensive games because it's not limited.

yep, all the games are going to take a nose dive, there is no way madden 25 is going to be $45, going to last till through October 5.

I thought the last day for the BB 100% bonus was today/Saturday? Unless I'm missing something, those games won't trade for a profit without that bonus.

Sorry. I interpreted that as you saying the base TIVs will tank due to others trading them in. Didn't occur to me you meant the bonus...

Is there confirmation that today is the last day? I hadn't seen anything in writing and the guy at BB today (probably clueless) said that he thought it was going into next week. Hopefully it will, but even if not I was able to turn a couple of old cell phones into a bunch of gamestop credit into enough Best Buy credit to get a new computer.

 
I went to GS and some jerk charged me a $3.00 GPG fee.  Which is their warranty, he acted all nice to distract me.  We chatted about everything BUT if i wanted to add a f@#$@3 warranty!

If it doesn't drop to 50% then I would expect the TIVs to go down significantly. If they don't, then :whee:.

After PUR and bday coupon, it comes to ~$55 after trade credit, no tax.

Trade 2 of those games in for about $53 with the $9.99 promo.

Am I right or left?

Does this really work? When I went to trade in Madden, a game I bought with this promo, I did not give him the receipt but he said I'm going to process the refund for this first and then do your trade-in's. I said no, I want to trade it in as well.

Well that would drop Last Light to the free game and you'd be talking $60 plus tax if applicable. The rest of it's right though and would get you about $53 with the trade two promo.

Did it still have the GS stickers? Probably assumed that you were doing a return since it wouldn't be past 7 days and you'd have gotten more if you had bought it sans promo.

I'd fill out the survey on your receipt, there is a specific section of the survey that allows you to say exactly what you didn't like about the transaction.

I keep looking back at the little screen as I wrap up the transaction. You should start doing that. Get that survey done. It will help. I don't think that you can get that warranty removed, but ask about it.

Yeah, exactly, forgot that it has to be higher after the discount than the others.

Yeah, it did. That wasn't even at the GS I purchased it at, he just scanned my PUR card. I thought they could only scan it w/o the receipt at the store you purchased it at.

I can never remember the exact number but they can see your recent transactions when they scan your card so maybe that's it.

well, depends. I have a copy of NBA that I want to get rid of. The base is I believe $10 or so, so that's no point. If you do it with the trade 2, it goes for $26.xx+ with the PUR bonus as well.

Just need another game to team up with it.

Unless you're paying less than $25 a game. You can buy any new game with it regardless of price and it automatically gives you $25 per game plus 10% of the base if you have the PUR card so total is like $53 in credit with most stuff on the list.

Not only did I do that, but I filled out two other surveys for two other transactions I did today and gave them great reviews.

I went to a closer GS and they did a return rebuy for me without the charge.

The promotion activates as it says. It only works toward a new copy. You can get a cheap game or even something like the 3DS Minis download and activate it there. You could also return the new game, but it's best to look for a game that you really want new.

 
Yeah, you can put it towards a $0.99 game like America's Test Kitchen. Saves the hassle of returning. Still netted the $52 or so after bonuses the other day. Solid stuff

Looks like Best Buy is still running 100% according to their website, but they just destroyed the TIV on several of the solid $55 flips.

They usually don't catch on this fast.

Riptide is still showing as a base of $12 when I look it up. They didn't touch those three, so I will probably get myself banned tomorrow. I have been trying every time they run 100% bonus, and I can't seem to do it. I think I traded in my 6th Last of Us today, so that should do it.

When I type in "Dead Island" or "Riptide", I see the $9 base. Are you using this page to search for TIVs?

Showing $9 base to me. Granted that's not bad but doubling up TR or finding a different game will be better.
