I hate asking questions which I already know the answer to, but has anyone seen a Steam key in the format of 4 x 5, ala: 

XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX

Dashes and all. I've only ever seen or gotten them in 3 x 5 or 5 x 5. Much older retail Steam activated keys (my box copy of Prey) were sometimes random, but this is supposed to be for a game that just launched at the beginning of the year. I'm perplexed, bordering on annoyed.

Not to toot my own horn, but when we get Steam keys for that, I'll have you know that I led the hate brigade against Nyu Media for that one.

Someone asked them via Twitter if they would be providing Steam keys once the game was Greenlight. Their reply was a big fat nope. I then laid the smackdown on them, pointing out how they basically DID promise keys in a past post of theirs (which they denied the validity of, saying it was said by someone who did not have the authority to say that), and just laid into them on Twitter. I then went to bed, and woke up to a horde of others jumping in yelling at them as well, and a nice little "Never mind, we'll provide Steam keys!" from Nyu Media.

So, you're welcome for the overpriced weeaboo cards I helped you all get!

 
Huh, I didn't know you could add non-Origin games to Origin. I may keep my drifters there since my Steam list is getting a bit unwieldy.

And thanks. I've been mostly retired from the grab pitchforks to get keys trade lately though I did chip in a bit when Winter Wolves was acting dense about trying to distribute keys through Desura for Groupees and Gala purchasers of Always Remember Me. Linden Labs has been shitty since taking over Desura and not wanting to distribute Steam keys through Desura for games not bought they them or Royale.

I somehow own none of these, and yet am not sure I am really missing out.

1/2 are games around 10+ years old

1/2 are fairly new indie games

1/2 look like typical bundle crap

 
It's like bundlestars picks a theme, starts out sticking with it, and then says fuck it just throw some random shit in there to fill in the rest.

Hey, I only own one of those (#FakeCAG), and even I think it's awful. It's full of stuff that I passed on in better bundles. I'd be down with Ballpoint Universe if it were filler in a bundle that actually had stuff I wanted, but as the only offer of interest in a $5 bundle?
