I got it for $4.03. That puts me at 1-3 since I got 1-2 free via PSN during that glitch. Are the Origins games worth picking up? If so, when in the sequence should they be played? I know they're prequels, but I mean from a gameplay perspective, if that makes a difference. So far I've only played 1 and the first hour or so of 2.
The Origins games are definitely worth playing if you're a fan of the series. I played them after 1, 2, and 3 and still enjoyed them very much.

fuck you assholes and your 90 and 100 degree temperatures & your fancy 72 degree air conditioning.

You know what the high temperature was for me yesterday, in the place where the muthafuckin All-Star game is taking place today?

Sixty-goddamn-five.

Broke a 130-year-old record.

fuckin' midwest.

I didn't find the post saying we had to pander to Reno and digest every bit of common sense info for Quinoa.

When does the store update? Didn't see it listed on the OP.

It's too early to be up now, I should be sleeping.

Mine kicks down to 72 at 10pm and then stays that way until 7:30am, at which point we've both left for work. Then it goes up to 78, then back down to 74 at 3:30pm before the wife gets home. Helps keep the bills down; $107 is as high as it's gone this Summer. It's been a pretty mild season in Nashville so far, though, only getting up to the mid-90s. Previous years it's gotten about 10 degrees hotter and stayed that way constantly, whereas this year we've had a lot of cooler days.

Usually it gets up to around $200 at the high end. When I bought the house there was no floor insulation and we hit $400 some Winter months. Not fun.
I wish I could turn the air up. My wife only has a part time job and usually works from home too so she can be home with the kid. So the air cant go up any higher than 74 in our house "or they will die." My wife is so spoiled. My mom used to keep the temp in our house growing up at 78 and turn it off as soon as she could and open windows/turn on fans. Needless to say in the heat of FL our electric bill is close to $300 during the summer and never goes below $120 at any point all year.

No, fuck you! 65 is perfect. I saw people wearing jackets last night and I was so jealous as I was sweating walking outside at 10pm.

I've lost my mind. making a spreadsheet out of my psn download list so I can search/sort the fuck ing thing. so long, day of work.
Once you have it you have to remember to update it too. I forget all the time. Which is why I was pissed the other day trying to figure out if I had Bioshock 2. I didnt have it on my sheet but thought I may have forgotten to add it.

Yep. Works fine for me, too, but I've noticed that people are less likely to respond to a huge multi-quote post, so it's better to just do one at a time.
But Tyler makes huge multi-quote posts quite frequently, and they get responses just as often as regular ones. I also won't ignore posts like those just because of their size. :whistle2:k

By "I've noticed that people" I meant "I tend to skip over long multi-quote posts and assume others do as well." :D/

They dont bother me, just really thought you might not know about multiquote.
Oh, yeah. Found out a few weeks ago when I was complaining about the lack of a multi-quote functionality, actually. People saying it didn't work well made me leery even though I've not seen a problem yet. It also just feels easier to me to open a quote window in a new tab. If there was a way to grab content for quoting, I would just build a multi-quote manually in a new tab as I catch up. There's not, though. :(

I wouldn't mind a 2nd PS4 for upstairs. But I guess that waits until $200 or one of you buys it for me. Maybe Velo can sell his porn collection and pay for our PS4s that way?

MGS2 HD feels so much more fun now that I know what I'm doing and I'm more familiar with the layout than I'd like, thanks to the VR Missions. :bouncy:

Playstation TV maybe? 100 bucks and comes out this fall.
That works for remotely playing your one PS4, but if you have two PS4 you can play a game like Destiny with two players. Also remote play doesn't work for everything. For example MLB.tv. Stupid thing blocks remote play. :( And 1080p doe.

MLB.tv issue could be solved by them finally making an MLB.tv app for Vita. That would be nice.

32GB is more than enough to have a good chunk of games at once. If you are a digital hoarder and need to have everything at once for no apparent reason get the 64GB. Otherwise you can just erase games and put others as you go. 32GB is plenty. I have like 15-20 retail games stored.

Also I would just rent Tearaway. Its so short and has no replay value.

Ill echo this statement Ive said countless times. I prefer the Vita Ports of lego games. So much better and straight to the point. They get rid of the open world hubs but really who cares about them? Who in their right mind drives around lego gotham for hours and beats up people? There is no point to open world lego hubs. Thats all thats missing from the Vita versions. Honestly most people who tell you they suck on vita just relay the message from others who dont know what they are talking about. Ive beaten all of them on Vita but Lego Hobbit. Still need that one.
I never said Tearaway was bad but it is overhyped and has NO REPLAY VALUE. Lego games are fun for what they are and should be "rent only" too. And besides I never see eye to eye with you. You usually like very simple boring games like Journey, nuff said. Don't assume so much.

I have a 16GB card and it is more than enough for me. Granted I play a bit differently than most and tend to finish a game I start and delete it to never play again. I have never filled up the 16GB even with all the Plus games.

I completely agree about Tearaway. It is definitely a rental. It is just too short and I do not see how it would have any replay value at all.

I also agree about the Lego games and that the Vita ports are usually much more fun do to the lack of the huge hub world to deal with. FYI, Lego Hobbit Vita does a sort of hub world that is actually more of a PITA than the usual hub worlds. You might want to avoid it. You are definitely right about all of them being rentals though. No need to buy them unless you find them on clearance for less than $5.

Also if your interested in PS+, This week from Frys Electronics you can get a year of PS+ for $30 with a promo code. If your interested in this send me a PM and I'll give you my code. PS+ will just add PS4, PS3 and Vita games to your backlog. Plus you get some really great sales on games for being a member. Sorry I can't forget the cloud saves which is one of the best features.
I have one of those codes too if a regular that I don't hate and isn't 13 can have as well. No Fry's around me and I have five unredeemed years. Stupid Sony and not running any promos on renewing PS+.
If either of you still have those codes, I would be happy to take one off your hands. Believe it or not, there are actually 2 Fry's stores here in metro Atlanta for some reason.

By "I've noticed that people" I meant "I tend to skip over long multi-quote posts and assume others do as well." :D/
If someone doesn't have the attention span to read a multi-quote do you really want them replying to you anyway?

Huh? Your reply is so unrelated to what I wrote I had to go back and reread it, lol. I'm talking about cross-gen/last-gen ports. I remember complaining about it and it seemed like most people didn't care. Since then people have upgraded so we've had some adjustments in opinion! Lol, Im just messing around though. And obviously you, specifically, haven't changed your mind.
Well like Topside said, your post was barely understandable. I'm still not entirely sure what you're talking about. I think there's been a pretty widespread agreement that all future, new IPs or series changing games should be next gen only. You going to start talking about Borderlands again, I know it. You can't seem to wrap your head around the fact that Borderlands isn't a sequel or new game, it's a bridge between two games with a huge god damn install base, which is exactly why it's coming to last gen only (for now, since it will come to current gen eventually). Games that are true sequels, and not gap fillers, I have no problem with them being next gen only and I'm pretty sure everyone here has always agreed on that. Every time a NEW game or SEQUEL is announce that includes last gen consoles, everyone (including myself) groans about it.

I am not a fan of multi quote or super long posts in general. Break that shit up.

And people are selling their Fry's PS+ codes for $30 to regulars (they don't hate)? With any luck I am not hated by you and you have one. If so I would love to buy it. My sub doesn't run out until February, but for $30 I'll add on now for peace of mind. No Fry's around here.

Guys, they should have release that Diablo Reaper of Souls by itself on PS4 and kept Diablo 3 on last gen consoles. That makes sense, right? And all future expansions/DLC should be on future gen consoles only, even if the games themselves aren't.

They have codes they are giving away so you can buy a $30 code from Fry's was my understanding.

I liked her in E.R.. I haven't gotten to her in Doctor Who yet. I just finished S3 last night. The first half of that season sucked, but the last part of it was quite good, especially the whole thing with the villain in the last 3 episodes. The relationship with Martha was fairly annoying from beginning to end, though, so I'm looking forward to who comes on next.
I don't know why, but I absolutely hated the actor's portrayal of the villain for the last 2 episodes, SOO grating. Perhaps because I saw the first season of Sherlock before it where they did a similar villain update so much better is why I found him quite annoying. The Deus Ex Machina they used to solve the problem was also REALLY stupid. I do agree though, earlier S3 episodes (especially episode 5) are the low point of the New Who series.

well that didn't take very long. stats:
- 987 items in the download list
- 423 games (minus some amount from cross buy and the disaster that is the zen pinball listings)
--- 250 ps3
--- 27 ps4
--- 52 psp
--- 94 vita
- I have started about 150 of those games
- I consider 63 of them finished and 38 of them 100%/plat/complete

fuck

I think I'll add whether or not they were from ps+ and time to beat numbers so I can see what century I could finish these in. other than the psp games. those are trash.

As of this second, you all are winning. I still cant believe "dont change it" is a very close third!
I know you as wrencrest, your PSN ID is wrencrest, so I dont see the need to change it. Plus I think the pill poppin' shtick will suffer if you try and change your name to be part of it.

It would be cool if you could change it as often as you want, but it is a once a year thing.

yeah, but because I can change it again next year it isnt as big a deal to me. If I could never go back I wouldnt have offered to begin with. But honestly I never really liked this name and was thinking of moving on to another PSN ID once I move on to Ps4. We will see, but I agreed to do it and will follow through with that.

And we all got used to Jay Remedy and Professor Stotch.  Hell, there are people out there that change their anatomy/sex!  I think a name change is rather inconsequential compared to that.

Yeah, I definitely caught the similarities. That was a bit grating, but there was enough of a focus shift to make it interesting. Moriarty is a great villain on Sherlock, to be sure, but The Master on Doctor Who had the benefit of bringing in some interesting backstory that had been hanging for a while (about the Time War and such.)

Overall I really liked the whole bit with The Master. Once I realized who that old guy really was I was pretty psyched. I read a lot of fanfiction and had seen the character crossed into other series; once I picked up on the drums I knew who was about to show up. The Toclafane were just stupid, though, and so was the paradox thing.

How familiar are you with Stephen Moffat's work, by the way? He wrote Blink and is big on Sherlock. It's interesting to watch stuff he's touched because the wife absolutely hates what a lazy writer he is. Moffat just re-uses the same crap over and over again. Literally lifts dialogue from his earlier works and just shoves it into newer stuff he does. I know he does a lot of the later writing for Doctor Who and am curious to see how annoying the wife will be in her complaints when I watch it. :whistle2:

I noticed no one posted this, but from the latest Pinball Arcade newsletter sent out this weekend:

"Also, stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks, but expect to see some 50% deals on PSN for Pinball Arcade products!"

Also, four new tables out today for PS3/Vita and for PS4 next week:
Black Knight 2000™
Who Dunnit™
High Speed™
Junk Yard™

And the best news of best newes:
Addams Family Pinball Kickstarter incoming soon. Tits. A. Poppin.

getting so close in watch dogs... I just want it to end already and get the plat.  Was tailed again that last night, maybe second or third time.  have done 5 tailings and 2 hackings, done with races.  Half way done with investigations and still have 38 fixers to do.  Not to mention i just realized to max out the skill tree I have to do a different side mission and then the songs.... UGH!!
